**Reviewed by:** Eric B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

The product was extremely customizable. Support was responsive and can be used to help utilize best practices in your AV.

**What do you dislike about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

In 2023, it's difficult to consider a AV product in this day of age as more threats are seen as ransomware attacks, lateral movement, etc. Your traditional AV cannot and will not be able to detect something of this nature. which is why it would be best paired with a possible EDR/MDR solution to provide additional security.

**What problems is Symantec End-user Endpoint Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provides the traditional AV protection, along with firewall protection including external hardware devices.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raymond G. | ICT Security Officer, Broadcast Media, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

Just like any other endpoint security, Symantec is known for having some of the best safeguards which allow you to protect your most confidential data through secure access, and in turn this keeps the people or employees productive.

**What do you dislike about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

For Symantec endpoint security, their downside is the local installation of their solution. When Symantec endpoint is installed locally on an ICT environment, it is vulnerable to attacks, and if the answer is brought down, then the whole ICT infrastructure will be in trouble.

Symantec endpoint has developed a solution that allows today's industries to get the best prevention, detection and response with an advanced multi-layered defense for all devices and operating systems.

  ### 22. Symantec Endpoint Protection needed a backup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

I like the centralized management feature that allows administrators to perform routines remotely and even schedule tasks that need to run in the endpoints.

**What do you dislike about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

I've been a user of Symantec Endpoint Protection since 2010, and I can say that they have not improved their user interface all these years. The major incident was why I parted ways with SEPM; my network was penetrated by malware that it failed to detect and stop spreading within my network.

**What problems is Symantec End-user Endpoint Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a Systems Administrator, you need to have centralized control over all your endpoints. SEPM is a whole package. Real-time scan/protection, firewall integration, live updates, advance detection. These are all needed to ensure that the network is protected. It has safeguarded mine for more than ten years.

  ### 23. Best AV for Endpoints

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ravi G. | IT Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

The best part of this product is that "it releases three updates daily for endpoints to protect them from Zero-day attacks." And endpoint takes an update from Symantec Manager, GUP (Group Update Provider) and LU (Live Update).

**What do you dislike about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

The worst part of this product is that "sometimes the symlink file mismatch and location of the endpoint show differ on Symantec Manager". And we need to replace this file again. It takes time for that.

**What problems is Symantec End-user Endpoint Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used this product when a wannacry ransomware attack happened, and it protected our endpoint from being compromised. We checked NTP logs for all the machines and checked frequently.

  ### 24. Symante Endpoint Protection: Endpoint multilayer protection

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

Symantec Endpoint Protection is a multilayer endpoint protection solution (antivirus, personal firewall, IPS, application and device control, host integrity, memory exploit mitigation, …).
It provides effective protection againt actual threats.
The solution has simplified management and a logical interface.
The architecture is natively scalable. Deployment tools are also available.

The product misses some configuration templates to accelerate configuration.

**Recommendations to others considering Symantec End-user Endpoint Security:**

Customize SEP configuration to enhance protection in your environment.
Install all available security features on the endpoint. The application control feature is one of the most powerful features if configured correctly.

**What problems is Symantec End-user Endpoint Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Endpoint protection from malware, ransomware, and new threats. Simple remediation and troubleshooting.
Report and alert notification help to maintain you informed about your a protected environment
If connected to Symantec EDR solution (licensed apart), you can manage Incidents with correlated SEP events through Symantec Intelligence, and you can also have MITRE ATT&CK tactics and techniques detailed information about incidents.

  ### 25. Symantec Endpoint Protection Suite not what is use to be!

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

Traditionally, this product has worked very well, although a bit bloated, for both servers and client machines.

**What do you dislike about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

We have used this product for many years. Since going to Broadcom, both support and product functionality have fallen off drastically. Clients seem to be very resource (memory) intensive and garner a lot of complaints from our user base.

**What problems is Symantec End-user Endpoint Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solved: client machines: good antivirus and malware protection. Servers: Good protection for internal, and internet facing (exposed) servers. There's no performance boost, but past reliability provided ease of mind for protection.

  ### 26. Easy to use

This is one of the best application in security and it's very easy to use this application is very easy to use and for security purposes now a days it's very usefull

**What do you dislike about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

When we secure the data some time speed may be slow but it is very rare , traffic flow is increasing day by day on this that is why we have to face speed issue something

**What problems is Symantec End-user Endpoint Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

An endpoint is any device that is physically en end point on a network . Laptops, desktops, mobile phones, tablets, servers and virtual environments can all be considered endpoints.

**Reviewed by:** Scott S. | Director of Infrastructure Services at Creative Group, Inc., Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2015

**What do you like best about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

The new cloud service was easy to setup and maintain.

**What do you dislike about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

Does not detect as well as other AV's. Takes up too many resources. Years of issues in the older software makes me not trust anything they make.

**Recommendations to others considering Symantec End-user Endpoint Security:**

There are much better choices available. Sophos endpoint (if you have a sophos firewall). Bitdefender endpoint is outstanding.

**What problems is Symantec End-user Endpoint Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Security issues. Drive Encrypton, web protection and overall security.

  ### 28. The new Symantec

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ciaran H. | Senior Security Presales, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

There have been some issues when moving from on-premise deployment to SEP, although these are being ironed out.

**Recommendations to others considering Symantec End-user Endpoint Security:**

Contrary to the bad perception following the Broadcom acquisition, Symantec is going from strength to strength.
The product team is very focused on making this the best solution on the market. The team is very engaged with customers and partners to ensure that it provides what they need.
Broadcom support is improving and is in a much better place when compared to this time last year.
The cost is also very competitive against most of the competitors, and you get a whole lot of value for your purchase.

  ### 29. Traditional AV - Next gen AV

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** VivekPrasanth R. | Senior Security Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

The best traditional Av (next-gen AV soon) to protect our environment safe and secure. They added Linux support as well and supported almost all the latest builds of windows and MAC. Simple SEPM will help to design the policy and implement it across the sites. It is suitable for larger clients, which is more than 10k. Daily def will have coverage for more vulnerabilities. WSS integration was the best notch of SEP WSS. We recently integrated SEP with WSS; it works perfectly.

**What do you dislike about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

Frequent version update irritates a lot. If you have a more significant number of clients, it's challenging to upgrade the clients frequently, and non of the customers will agree to the same. Everyone might be having a lot of internal approval processes for upgrades. by the time we finish all the approval processes, one version of Symantec will release another one. It's very irritating sometimes when the lower version has some product bug and no other choice than to upgrade.

**Recommendations to others considering Symantec End-user Endpoint Security:**

ITs good for who is having larger number of clients. Easy to implement.SEP is particularly effective when paired with a second anti-malware solution, such as Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.Symantec Endpoint Protection serves as an wonderful front-line antivirus solution for larger organizations who need to manage numerous computer systems, servers, and users.Simple SEPM will help to design the policy and implement across the sites. It good for larger clients. Daily def will have coverage for more vulnerabilities.

**What problems is Symantec End-user Endpoint Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can control a lot of security risks using the product. Since all the clients are reporting to the manager, sometimes we will consider this as inventory.
SEP WSS integration helps us to go with the agentless approach. We don't want multiple agents for proxy redirecting.

  ### 30. Symantec End-user Endpoint Security | Best security solution for my laptop

**What do you dislike about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

Sometimes the automatic update doesn't work, and I have to do the manual updates myself. Other than that, the software is perfect.

**Recommendations to others considering Symantec End-user Endpoint Security:**

Easily the best security software for your system. Go with it without having second thoughts.

**What problems is Symantec End-user Endpoint Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohit S. | Senior Technical Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2017

**What do you like best about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

SEP is very simple to install, but at the same time the User Interface is too good to be used by a customer and partner. Its blocking new and unknown threats very well and which are usually missed by other Endpoint Solutions. Using it widely in our customer base and even as a Symantec Partner in our Internal IT to show the use cases to customers. Excellent Product.!!!

**What do you dislike about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

I could not find much issues or something that i can write to dislike about this product. The offline updates of the SEP can be made more simpler. I found that little troublesome by downloading and placing in folder and it takes so much time to update in the SEP window.

**Recommendations to others considering Symantec End-user Endpoint Security:**

Its great Endpoint Solution and very flexible, stable and trusted one.

**What problems is Symantec End-user Endpoint Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

End Point Security in General.

  ### 32. Most comprehensive client protection tool for large businesses

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Filip G. | DevOps Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2017

**What do you like best about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

The possibility for building distributed infrastructure makes it easy to secure clients in a globally dispersed environment. The scanning on the clients is well optimized and it is hardly noticeable from performance aspect. Fast response to 0-day attacks by Symantec. The ability to configure application execution prevention that can ban installers from starting if they are not in a default container. There is minimum detection of false positives.

**What do you dislike about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

The size of the updates can be a bit of a downside. This goes especially when new clients are introduced in an environment with slower bandwidth. The configuration interface can use an interface update.

**Recommendations to others considering Symantec End-user Endpoint Security:**

It is definitely worth a try especially if you are a huge organization with 10.000+ clients.

**What problems is Symantec End-user Endpoint Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have it as the default company wide solution (on over 200K clients) for protection against malware threats and 0-day attacks. Moreover, we also use it to prevent installation of application from unwanted sources.

  ### 36. A good solution both for on premise and cloud

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

Symantec Endpoint Protection is delivering defense-in-depth security using several technologies not relying on any single technique for protection.

**What do you dislike about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

The on-premise version of Symantec Endpoint Protection is in need of a big refresh regarding it's management interface. Some "newer" features like intensive protection are only available in an hybrid configuration where you "bolt-on" the on-premise SEPM with the Symantec Enterprise Security Cloud. This is also true for new features like Behavior Isolation.

The management plattform for on-premise users should be available as an appliance to replace or complement the need for a standalone installation on Windows Server operating systems. This would enable the on-prem and cloud solutions to follow the same release cycle as the management could be upgraded more easily as it is basically the same. If you're then managing a hybrid environment, it would greatly enhance the management experience. This would also probably reduce the amount of support cases regarding issues with multiple types of configurations available.

**What problems is Symantec End-user Endpoint Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A single solution that fits multiple requirements in a diverse enivornment and that tightly integrates with other solutions from Symantec.

  ### 37. Good product - Awful support

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** F R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

This is a established product that does its job nicely. The centralized cloud console properly monitors clients and issues alerts as expected, interface is clean and easy to use albeit a bit too simple for the cloud version, compared to the on-prem Enterprise edition that presents clients in a tree structure and has the ability to create firewall and management policies and apply these to groups to control traffic at the port level, service level or source/destination level. A firewall at the perimeter will protect ports and services but many threats come now via http and https, so it's vital to have protection at the endpoint level.

**What do you dislike about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

Support after Broadcom acquisition is awful. Been using Symantec products since 2004 and never had an issue with support until Broadcom acquired it. I had a problem with my licensing (they offered a free upgrade from SBE to SES because they were discontinuing the former) and opened a support ticket in which I was told it would be upgraded before October 31st but that did not happen. On that day I opened another ticket (high priority this time) and they just tossed it around until for days until I call them and I was told that because my subscription had expired I needed to buy new licenses (my subscription does not show as expired in the console, because it had been extended to help with the transition to SES so that was inaccurate). All support calls went to India, the line quality was very poor and if you add that to a thick accent, it was very hard to understand the rep. Yet the bottom line is this: Regardless being a paying customer, with an active license, she was rude and could care less about loosing a client.

**What problems is Symantec End-user Endpoint Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it for Endpoint protection, anitivirus and firewall. It is nice to have an extra layer of protection at the endpoint level as nowadays many threats pass through the perimeter firewall via a web browser, so it catch bugs that users may be unknowingly inviting via an embedded link in an email r an attachment. The console has the needed features to know the status of clients at a glance (all good, needs attention, at risk, needs restart, needs update) and you can create policies and assign to groups, similar to what you can do in the SEP Enterprise edition, though the interface for the latter is much nicer that the one for the SBE Cloud. In general, this is a good product as long as you don't need to call support.

  ### 38. Legendary Effective Protection Against Everyday Threats

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sizwe M. | IT Technician and Security Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

Same old tried and true Symantec. Simple to administer and support.

**What do you dislike about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

The unpredictability of policy changes. A simple policy change can have unpredictable, non-related effects on endpoints.

**Recommendations to others considering Symantec End-user Endpoint Security:**

It is usually best to go with the could-based solution, especially in these days of working from home. That makes it easier to administrate endpoints remotely.

**What problems is Symantec End-user Endpoint Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are protecting end-users from everyday digital perils such as malware and ransomware.

  ### 39. Symantec is a grate Security Solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pablo A. | Premier Field Engineer Symantec, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

SES protect all clients in our organization from security attacks. It is a very easy product for installation, configuration, and cloud management. All Client Agent installations can be done simply without an additional software distribution tool. All SEP Clients can be easily monitored from the Reporting interface. So, If any client has the old version or old signature can be easily updated from the Console with a single click. Helps to reduce the client-based security vulnerabilities in the whole organization. I think Symantec has the best Global Antivirus database to avoid attacks including Zero-Day attacks

**What do you dislike about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

Endpoint interface aspect and small functionalities

**What problems is Symantec End-user Endpoint Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manageability, SESE framework of all Home Office devices

  ### 40. They had a good product, but good luck trying to renew after Broadcom took over

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

Good product, doesn't bog down the computer like other similar products. Have not have any issues with malware while running this software.

**What do you dislike about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

Like others, the license expired while Broadcom acquired Symantec. I have been trying to get a renewal license for this products for the past 2-3 months. Symantec (now Broadcom) is no longer selling the license, and every reseller I contacted is not responding to the emails regarding pricing information. I have contacted Broadcom directly, and they put me in contact with a vendor, which sent me a quote that was for more devices that I inquired about. Contacted the vendor back asking for a quote for just the number of devices I had, never heard back from them.

At this point I have stations for which the license has expired and do not have a way to renew them. I really hate to start looking for other products, but at the rate I am receiving responses from vendors, I have no choice.

**What problems is Symantec End-user Endpoint Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Securing the devices against malware, virus.

  ### 41. Recommended for any Windows based user workstation.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chad G. | Coordinator, Information Technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

Symantec has done a great job with their centralized management portal. The agent/client itself is easy to deploy once you understand Symantec's interface. Policy management could use some work, but given the class of software it covers the basics and then some. Email notifications are a must for me and this software does it well. It doesn't matter if the event was resolved automatically or not, admins always get notifications.

**What do you dislike about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

Technical support can be a little frustrating at times especially if the problem at hand is not directly related to the agent. Portal related issues can take a little time to solve and more so since Broadcom took them over.

**Recommendations to others considering Symantec End-user Endpoint Security:**

Like anything else, test drive everything including the management interface, reporting and alerting features.

**What problems is Symantec End-user Endpoint Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This software does add a layer of protection that is otherwise missing from native Windows. One of the best things about it is that end-users get a pop up for events and administrators are also notified via email, providing notifications are properly configured.

  ### 42. All My Experiences with SEP

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ozkan Taylan H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

I think SEP is a real investment product. Because you can use the product easily even in old windows operating systems. I also see comments on some forums like it uses a lot of CPU and RAM resources. If the PC you are using is old, it is almost impossible to operate with this computer even with applications that use some RAM resources. So in summary, this is not the case with SEP. On Intel's 2nd or AMD's Ryzen 1st generation PCs, you never feel the product running in the background.

**What do you dislike about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

The worst part of the product in my opinion is that the license form and price is high. The fact that there is a lot of difference between competitors makes you think when choosing the product. Ben Symantec firm needs to show its pricing policy.

**What problems is Symantec End-user Endpoint Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the product, we protect our company computers against viruses and threats from the internet.

  ### 43. Reliable Protection and Rapid Threat Detection

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bilge A. | Database Expert, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

What the product does best is that it can quickly detect and block malware and virus threats. It can prevents infection of such threats, especially through e-mail and USB flash drives. It is really very successful to be able to do this job without any damage to the file, especially while preventing these threats.

**What do you dislike about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

The worst thing about SEP is that it uses a lot of system memory. This negatively affects the performance of your computer. Using too many resources makes some programs very slow to open and use. This is a situation that negatively affects our business. I think Symentec should find a solution to this problem soon.

**What problems is Symantec End-user Endpoint Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This product of Symentec is used as an endpoint solution in all our company's computers. Especially due to the pandemic period, almost all of our employees connect with VPN from home to the company. This forces them to access the internet from an unsecured home network. With the SEP, we have brought an important solution to this problem. In addition, this product is used in our company's servers on the DMZ side. This provides important protection against malicious threats coming from the internet.

  ### 44. 10 years of SEP

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Chemicals | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2018

**What do you like best about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

The management of the SEP endpoint has always been very intuitive. I never feel like I have to look hard to fine the settings I need.

**What do you dislike about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

We have had some issues with updates that cannot be explained by the Symantec team. This causes frustrations with management.

Also, while comprehensive, the console has a steep learning curve. I feel like I am finding new things each day after over 10 years as an administrator.

**Recommendations to others considering Symantec End-user Endpoint Security:**

Include the ATP portion of the production with the base functionality of SEP

**What problems is Symantec End-user Endpoint Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

An overall protection platform for all of our endpoints

  ### 45. The solution offers protection from Network threats and is easy to use.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

The solution is easy to use and has the ability to integrate with the Symantec cloud. It is also easy to deploy and adequate support is available.

The Symantec solution is also able to replace any existing endpoint security solution during the installation process.

Useful product documentation is also available and relatively easy to find.

**What do you dislike about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

More training material and videos should be made available. Things got a little bit confusing after the Broadcom acquisition. The new website layout can be improved to make it easier to find resources.

Replication with Symantec replication partners at other locations fails sometimes. This appears to have improved greatly with software updates.

**Recommendations to others considering Symantec End-user Endpoint Security:**

I advise that you dedicate adequate time to planning your implementation to ensure the solution is deployed properly in your environment. This will lead to faster value realization from the solution.

**What problems is Symantec End-user Endpoint Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Endpoint security, Device Control, Intrusion Detection, Asset Management, and Network Security.

We now have improved visibility into endpoints on the network and better asset management.

  ### 46. Safe Front Line Protection with SEP

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Birol S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

In addition to providing ease of use in managing security warnings, the product contains the least downloaded false positives. However, the product provides a very good endpoint protection with fast malware and virus detection. In addition, continuous updates provide effective protection for endpoint PCs against new threats.

**What do you dislike about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

The product uses too many PC resources. Therefore, while SEP is running in the background, the performance of the PC decreases. Also, the management consul is a bit complicated. Therefore, it is not that easy to use. Especially in these two areas, the product should be developed further.

**What problems is Symantec End-user Endpoint Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the product, we made our company's end-user computers more secure against threats from the internet and other media. In addition, we can detect malicious behavior by reporting users' traffic on the web.

  ### 47. Best Web and System Security Software and Endpoint Package

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

There is no side of the product that I do not like. We have provided high-level protection against viruses and malware on our workstation and client computers with SEP. Therefore, we are very satisfied with the product.

**What problems is Symantec End-user Endpoint Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use the product to protect the workstations with many different operating systems in our company against threats such as viruses and ransomware, as well as to protect their PCs when they make VPN from unsecured networks to the company on client computers.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** katerina G. | DMTS, Distinguished Member of Technical Staff, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

It provides end-to-end security for different devices and applications including desktop, mobiles, text messaging, servers and Web communications, etc. Works as a good protective wall against spams and protection for Web gateways. Efficient enough to protect against invisible threats (i.e. zero-day threats). Endpoint protection ensures the safety of delicate data and essential information at the messaging gateways with data loss prevention. It provides quick and consistent recovery for data.

**What do you dislike about Symantec End-user Endpoint Security?**

It uses most of the system resources that affect system speed and efficiency. Some programs might not work properly or stop working. While deep scanning the whole system becomes extremely slow and sluggish. This issue can affect your business work and eat up your time. On the other hand, it is a bit more expensive in comparison with other software with high license fees and high pricing. These problems need to be worked with such great features.

**Recommendations to others considering Symantec End-user Endpoint Security:**

It possesses a feature known as Insight that protects against anonymous threats that can lift unofficial business information.Highly recommended

**What problems is Symantec End-user Endpoint Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**
