"Secure, Mobile-Friendly Data Collection with Easy Drag-and-Drop Form Building"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SurveyCTO?

I love this platform for its extensive security provided for highly confidential feedback or interview. Its designing of forms is really easy with its drag drop feature. The best part is that we can do it to for all content even if it is multimedia or branching logic. I also love this platform for its efficient capabilities to use the android phone. The data collector can easily get the form to this platform app which greatly increases the mobility of this platform. The best part is that the users on the online server can do the creation, refining, monitoring and management of the forms and data. While the field agent can use the mobile phone apps to feed the real time data to the servers and the collection of data can be done without internet connection. This platform is really good for high accuracy and effective market research run. Other than this the quality check on the response provided by the field representative is also done through certain mechanism like GPS and meta data. The audio audit of this platform ensures that quality is maintained. I also love the server health monitor of this platform which notifies on server issues. The onboarding of this platform was really easy. The AI of this platform assist a lot in designing forms of core concepts and advanced topics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SurveyCTO?

I love most part of this platform but I wish that he pricing was more moderate. I have also seen that the app in the android version does wonder but the app for other devices is missing. The learning and full efficiency of using this platform may take some time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"SurveyCTO Makes Survey Data Collection and Management Simple and Reliable"
4/5
What do you like best about SurveyCTO?

What I like most about SurveyCTO is how much easier it makes collecting and managing survey data. The platform is straightforward to navigate, and creating forms and tracking responses feels well organized and easy to stay on top of. I also appreciate that it works well for field data collection and helps cut down on manual work. Overall, it has been a reliable and convenient tool for handling survey-related tasks. What do you dislike about SurveyCTO?

One thing I don’t like about SurveyCTO is that some of the more advanced features can take a bit of time to understand at first. The interface is functional and gets the job done, but a few sections could look more modern and feel more beginner-friendly. Aside from that, the platform is reliable and works well for most survey and data collection tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable GDPR-Friendly Survey Tool Ideal for Corporate HR Use Recommendation Rate"
3.5/5
What do you like best about SurveyCTO?

SurveyCTO stands out with its dependable offline data gathering function, which lets us gather employee opinions smoothly even in areas with poor network coverage. We can fully tailor survey layouts to match various internal HR research scenarios ranging from satisfaction polls to training effect reviews. Its in-built privacy protection framework strictly aligns with GDPR and German local employee data regulations, effectively safeguarding all sensitive staff information. Besides, it enables our whole HR team to co-create and manage surveys collaboratively without file confusion. Advanced question branching design shortens redundant content and raises staff participation enthusiasm. Multiple export options also make it effortless to transfer survey data into our internal work systems for further in-depth study. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SurveyCTO?

The default dashboard design is not user-friendly enough to directly display core employee feedback trends at a glance. Its native data analysis modules are fairly limited, with no pre-built finished templates targeted at corporate HR evaluation scenarios. Technical support tends to respond slowly during busy working seasons. In addition, mastering advanced functional configurations requires plenty of practice, which raises the entry barrier for new HR team members. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Tailored for Compliance, Yet Needs a User-Friendly Upgrade"
3.5/5
What do you like best about SurveyCTO?

What I like most about SurveyCTO is its offline functionality, which is incredibly helpful for our field staff conducting onsite client visits where internet coverage can be unreliable. It allows us to fill out compliance assessments and customer check-in surveys offline and then sync data securely when back online. I appreciate its strict data consistency and compliance controls, with required fields and clear validation rules, which are perfect for our banking regulatory needs. The platform's robust security and structure give us peace of mind, as it handles sensitive customer information and compliance records securely. I also value the flexibility in form building, enabling the creation of custom questionnaires for various banking requirements. The organized response management and simple exporting features make daily work much easier by categorizing submissions and allowing quick data filtering. Overall, SurveyCTO is a reliable tool that balances regulatory support with a straightforward workflow suited for our banking operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SurveyCTO?

To begin with, the overall interface and operational logic feel overly technical and old-fashioned, not optimized for non-technical banking practitioners. The backend layout is layered and scattered, with entry paths for form creation, permission management, response data auditing and template archives not clearly categorized. New team members without technical backgrounds need lengthy onboarding to get familiar with basic operations, and even regular users often waste time hunting for common settings. It lacks a simplified role-based dashboard tailored to banking daily work, making routine operations far less efficient than they could be. Secondly, brand visual customization for customer-facing surveys is extremely restricted. As a formal local banking institution, we expect external feedback questionnaires and service evaluation forms to maintain consistent institutional branding and a professional, refined visual style. But SurveyCTO prioritizes functional rigor over presentation, offering almost no adjustable options for custom fonts, color matching, page margin layout, or brand embedded styles. All published forms can only use the system’s default plain style, lacking official bank temperament and unable to convey a standardized brand image to clients. "Reliable Offline Audit Tool for Packaging Regulatory Compliance"
3.5/5
What do you like best about SurveyCTO?

Offline data capture is essential for our remote factory supplier audits with spotty connectivity. Dynamic form logic lets us build streamlined PPWR inspection checklists, and end-to-end encryption fulfills GDPR data requirements. Clean structured exports cut the time we spend compiling circular economy documentation for German regulators. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SurveyCTO?

There are no ready-made audit templates aligned with EU packaging waste regulations. It cannot connect directly to our supply chain ERP, requiring constant manual CSV exports. New audit staff struggle with form creation, and mass record deletion functions are awkward for routine GDPR data housekeeping. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Offline Data Collection with Strong Compliance"
3.5/5
What do you like best about SurveyCTO?

I really like SurveyCTO's rock-solid offline functionality, which reliably collects data even without an internet connection. This is crucial for our B2B IT operations across Germany and the EU, especially in remote or low-connectivity locations. The platform's enterprise-grade security and compliance are perfectly aligned with our needs, maintaining strict GDPR and BDSG compliance out of the box. Its support for highly complex, logic-driven forms is ideal for our technical audits and infrastructure checks. The stability and security it offers make it essential for professional field data collection rather than basic surveys. Its end-to-end encryption, audit trails, data access controls, and secure data residency remove huge legal and administrative burdens for our EU-based operations, making the platform invaluable for secure, scalable, and audit-ready field data collection. I also appreciate how once we're back online, data syncs securely and automatically, eliminating manual data entry and reducing transcription errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SurveyCTO?

The form builder interface can feel dated and has a steep learning curve for complex conditional logic, so our technical staff need extra training to build advanced audit workflows. Dashboard customization and native analytics are also fairly basic compared to modern BI tools, so we often end up exporting data to other platforms for deeper analysis. Additionally, some of the advanced integration options require more technical setup than expected, and the overall user experience on the web portal feels less intuitive than newer SaaS tools. Modernizing the UI and simplifying complex configuration would make it even stronger for professional B2B teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Offline Field Data Collection for Challenging Environments"
4/5
What do you like best about SurveyCTO?

The best aspect of the SurveyCTO platform is its reliable field-based data collection, specifically in challenging environments. Also, one good thing is that it can work offline and then combine with logical data security., this is very helpful for our market research team and even performing on low connectivity conditions. Very stable in collecting data in this space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SurveyCTO?

This platform has a bit of a steep learning curve, if we are not familiar with XLSform and for technical survey design. This interface is functional but not very modern, and it's also not that visually appealing in terms of UI on the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable and Secure Data Collection Platform"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SurveyCTO?

I really like SurveyCTO's reliability in tough field conditions, the flexibility in form design, and its strong focus on data quality and security. It's powerful yet approachable for non-technical teams. The support ecosystem is great too, along with its ability to integrate with other tools, which balances power and usability. These aspects make SurveyCTO feel 'safe' to scale with and allow it to fit into real workflows, reducing risk, saving time, and lowering the skill barrier for the team. The initial setup is straightforward for basic use, with quick-start guides, templates, and training materials helping us get started quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SurveyCTO?

The main areas that could work better are cost, the learning curve for advanced work, and a few technical or feature limits (especially for web forms and very large or complex projects). Subscription pricing is frequently mentioned as high for individuals, very small NGOs, or short, low‑budget projects compared with some open‑source or lighter tools. This can make it harder to justify keeping an account continuously for sporadic or very small‑scale data collection needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like using SurveyCTO to design forms and collect data. I appreciate that it prevents errors with form validations and I especially value its reliability in the field. It is stable and doesn't crash, it saves responses and syncs without losing data, which is very important to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
