"Stripe Unifies Online and In-Person Payments with Flexible Checkout and Reporting"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Stripe Terminal?

In my personal opinion stripe, that’s a good job of bringing together online and in person payments onto one simple platform. It allows our business to bridge the digital currency with physical currency easily. I believe that it helps us to create a custom checkout experience for people with flexible, hardware, and it provides us with consistent reporting and data across all of our ourselves channels. It’s a great POS software system because it also supports payments and other countries we have the chip contact list and swipe capability as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stripe Terminal?

I have to be really honest here and say that for as much as good as it has, it really does have some significant high technical barriers. The specialized support is really crappy and it is a high cost compared to all in one POS systems we used in the past I think that it’s required more for developers versus just not very user-friendly. We don’t have a striped POS app that we can use so that makes it really hard and the transaction fees are pretty insane. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing Tool"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Stripe Terminal?

tripe Terminal makes accepting in-person payments super easy and reliable. The setup is quick, the interface is intuitive, and it integrates smoothly with the rest of the Stripe ecosystem. I really like how seamless it feels to manage both online and offline transactions from one dashboard. Their documentation and support are also top-notch — it saves a lot of time for developers and teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stripe Terminal?

The only thing that could be improved is the pricing structure for small businesses — it can get a bit expensive when you’re just starting out. Also, occasional firmware updates can take longer than expected, which can be slightly inconvenient during busy hours. But overall, these are minor issues compared to the benefits. What do you like best about Stripe Terminal?

I work as an accountant in the UAE, and my clients have given me access to Stripe based on their POS statements. I use this information to implement the data into their books of accounts. I find Stripe much easier to use when it comes to reconciling closing balances with the records in the books. The platform provides straightforward reports, making it simple to track payouts. Its user-friendly interface and overall ease of use are definite advantages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stripe Terminal?

The payout process with Stripe can sometimes be delayed. Occasionally, payments are processed quickly, but at other times, it takes longer to receive the funds from my clients' customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cost-Effective Solution with Some Connectivity Glitches"
4/5
What do you like best about Stripe Terminal?

I find Stripe Terminal great for my business, allowing customers to pay for products through a website or app without any hassle, and enabling them to choose their preferred delivery time. I also love the invoice feature where customers are able to payment later if necessary, ensuring I do not lose money on transactions. Additionally, the ability to create customer profiles on both the app and website, allows experiences to be tailor to the shopping experience and keep track of customer preferences and popular products. The dashboard is another highlight for me, as it provides valuable insights into visitor numbers and revenue, helping me to monitor sales and manage inventory effectively. Overall, Stripe Terminal offers me a comprehensive tool to enhance customer satisfaction and streamline business operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stripe Terminal?

I don't like that sometimes the websites will glitch and lose connection, causing my work not to be saved and deleted, making me start over. I also don't like the size of the images you can upload because most images are bigger than the requested size, causing me to spend time editing and changing my image to be able to be uploaded. I use Stripe Terminal to take payments in person, and it makes things really easy and smooth. It works well with our existing Stripe setup. Stripe Terminal makes in-person payments so much easier for us. It’s quick, reliable, and secure, and having everything connected to our Stripe account removes any stress or errors, making checkout smooth for both our team and customers. Setup was pretty straightforward, and once it was running, everything worked smoothly. I’d give Stripe Terminal a 9 out of 10 because it’s reliable, easy to use, and makes payments feel really smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stripe Terminal?

One thing I’ve noticed with Stripe Terminal is that sometimes connectivity issues can slow things down. It would also be helpful if setting up and managing the devices were a bit simpler, so new team members can get started more easily. I think Stripe Terminal could be even better if setting up devices was simpler, maybe with a step-by-step guide or interactive walkthrough. More stable connectivity with automatic reconnection would also help, especially during busy checkout times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Integration, Comprehensive Payment Solution"
5/5
What do you like best about Stripe Terminal?

I use Stripe Terminal for my online e-commerce sites and a print-on-demand clothing line to help process and document all my Visa, debit, or credit card purchases. I like how streamlined and easy it is to integrate with my business; you can get an API key, or platforms like Shopify already have it integrated for easy processing of payments. I appreciate how my sales are documented with a full view of my data, allowing me to see every purchase and payment order received clearly. I can use the data to see who is buying what and when, also collect emails and info, and cash out the money from sales directly to my bank account. The initial setup was easy for both API and integration, and it's used when building apps for the subscription process. I like the platform, so I don't have anything negative. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stripe Terminal?

I like that platform so don't have anything negative. Maybe have a flow of automation like a CRM involved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Powerful In-Person Payment Solution for Stripe-First Businesses"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Stripe Terminal?

Stripe Terminal’s biggest strength is how seamlessly it integrates with the Stripe ecosystem. Managing online and in-person payments from a single dashboard makes reporting, reconciliation, and customer management much easier. The APIs are very developer-friendly, well documented, and flexible enough to build fully custom POS flows. The hardware is reliable, setup is straightforward, and payment processing is fast and secure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stripe Terminal?

The main drawbacks are the pricing and regional availability. The hardware costs can feel a bit high compared to some alternatives, and Stripe Terminal isn’t supported in all countries yet. Also, for teams without strong technical resources, the initial setup and customization can feel complex and may require developer involvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
