"Excellent Value: Easy Campaign Management and Scalable “All‑You‑Can‑Send” Pricing"
5/5
What do you like best about Smartlead?

Smartlead offers excellent value for money for anyone running serious outbound. The interface is easy to navigate, the dashboards are clear, and it just makes managing multiple campaigns and inboxes straightforward. Their “all‑you‑can‑send” style pricing is a standout for us because we can scale without constantly worrying about extra costs, and support has been solid whenever we’ve needed help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smartlead?

From my point of view, the main downside is the quality of some of the leads that come from Smartlead’s own sources. Whenever we bring in our own carefully researched lists, performance is noticeably better, so I’d really like to see a higher bar for data quality on the “included” leads, even if that means there are fewer of them.

I also have a few smaller niggles. There are occasional glitches and inbox disconnects, and at times it feels like new features are shipped before the core product is fully polished. None of this is enough to stop us using Smartlead, because the sending and campaign management side is still very strong, but it does add a bit of friction to an otherwise excellent platform. "Smartlead Makes High-Volume Cold Email Manageable With Strong Deliverability"
5/5
What do you like best about Smartlead?

Running cold email across a large number of sending domains has stayed surprisingly manageable from one place, and inbox placement continues to hold up even when I’m pushing serious daily volume. Smartlead integrates seamlessly with our other tools in our tech stack (Slack, Claude, Airtable) and the API is intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smartlead?

Onboarding leaned heavily on documentation and the community rather than hands-on guidance, so my first week came with a real learning curve. The interface is powerful, but it can feel dense in places, and it took me some time to track down where certain campaign settings were located. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Smartlead: a powerful all-in-one tool for large-scale prospecting"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Smartlead?

What I like 👍

Everything is integrated into a single tool. I particularly appreciate the ability to purchase email addresses directly from Smartlead and use them immediately in campaigns, without any additional handling.

The setup is simple and allows for quickly launching prospecting campaigns.

Even though I had some difficulties reaching support at first, I was eventually assisted by Vanshree, who was very responsive, professional, and efficient in handling my requests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smartlead?

What I like less 👎

I encountered several bugs in the application, notably unexpected disconnections and some stability issues.

The communication around the platform's developments could be improved. I have noticed changes in the plan or modifications in the tool without being informed beforehand.

A bit more transparency on updates and product changes would improve the user experience on a daily basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Smartlead is the backbone of our cold email infrastructure"
5/5
What do you like best about Smartlead?

Smartlead is the single most reliable and scalable cold email platform we’ve used, hands down. It powers the entire backend of our outbound operations across dozens of client accounts and thousands of inboxes.

We’ve generated over 10,000 positive replies and more than $30M in revenue using Smartlead. The ability to manage inbox warmups, rotate domains, control daily limits, and run high-performing Spintax-based messaging at scale makes it a true performance tool, not just a sending platform.

Deliverability has been consistently strong, and the level of automation available through their API and tagging system is what lets us run things smoothly across multiple verticals, campaigns, and teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smartlead?

No tool is perfect, Smartlead’s Master Inbox will sometimes have a bug or two but reloading almost always fixes it. But as the platform continues to evolve, the pace of improvements has been fast and support has always been responsive when issues come up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Beginner-Friendly Interface with Seamless HubSpot Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Smartlead?

Smartlead has a simple interface. For a beginner, it's very easy to navigate through. This is very useful when introducing new team members to Smartlead. Also the campaigns set up is quite simple. In addition, we've seemlessly integrated smartlead with Hubspot. The flow of data from smartlead to Hubspot and vice versa is smooth Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smartlead?

When setting up sequences and trying to run A/B tests, it would be really helpful to let me choose which leads should receive specific templates. Right now, when I do A/B testing, I have to allocate a percentage of leads to each template (for example, 70/30 or 60/40), but I can’t decide exactly which leads will actually get Template A versus Template B.

Secondly is the glitches, I remember, we had an issue where we couldn't import leads to smartlead directly using Hubspot. The support from your end was poor, we were left stranded not knowing what was actually happening behind the scenes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Cold Email Management with Superb Usability"
5/5
What do you like best about Smartlead?

I love how easy Smartlead is to use and how it allows me to manage my GTM motion all in one platform. Running a boutique agency means I’m wearing a lot of hats, and with Smartlead, I can manage my sequences, monitor deliverability, and keep my cold outreach dialed in without using 20 different platforms. I also appreciate that I don't have to figure out complex UIs, which helps me build and iterate fast. The initial setup was fairly easy, especially with expert support from Matt Lucero. What do you dislike about Smartlead?

I think Smartlead could improve with a deeper level of reporting on campaign analytics and entire account reporting. I would love more granularity on a per mailbox basis, a cleaner summary dashboard that shows health across all accounts, and more custom reporting functionality like account-wide ROI reporting. Also, better inbox management metrics would be beneficial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effective Outreach with Room for Automation Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about Smartlead?

I like Smartlead's sequencing feature a lot, especially the sequence follow-up messages. The automation that resumes out-of-office emails at the right time is another aspect I appreciate. I find the delivery readiness to be great. I also liked the older interface because it made understanding everything easier and was properly segmented, making it easy for me to navigate Smartlead. I definitely like the API integration and Webhook features that Smartlead provides because it helped me create my internal cross platform automations and infact company level auto pausing between AimFox and smartlead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smartlead?

The automation that resumes campaigns or specific follow-ups when coming back to the office could be more advanced. If the date isn't present in the reply email copy, it'd be better to assume an interval or ask the user to fill it. Additionally, if a month is specified but not the date, the automation should determine an ideal time frame. I preferred the older interface because it was easier to understand and properly segmented, whereas the new version, although intuitive, isn't my favorite. Also, the Unsubscribe links in emails are contributing to spam issues(my theory is that specific domain is associated with loads of other Smartlead maintained campaigns that probably abused the domain), and this could be improved. "Essential for Improving Cold Email Deliverability"
5/5
What do you like best about Smartlead?

I like the seamless consolidation of inboxes/domains since with cold outbound, it's necessary to use many email addresses. This consolidation into one master inbox allows me to feel like I'm only using one inbox, even when it's many. I also like the auto tagging of interested prospects because it eliminates the need to sift through hundreds of responses, allowing me to know when a lead comes in. Additionally, I appreciate that I feel like I can offload much of my deliverability problems to the Smartlead team, as they're always trying to stay on top of that. The initial setup of Smartlead was very easy and great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smartlead?

I think they add a lot of features, and it's often difficult to know which ones are really going to be a game changer for me, and which ones aren't really worth the time to adopt. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effective Cold Email Solution with UI Room for Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about Smartlead?

Smartlead's delivery is really good, ensuring my campaigns reach the audience effectively. What helps me most is that the platform is quite open-ended, allowing me to see why certain campaigns might not be delivering as expected, so I can fix issues immediately. Additionally, having options to use my own smart servers makes it easy to understand what's going on and ensures my campaign's success. The initial setup of Smartlead was very easy, with nothing complicated, which is definitely a plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smartlead?

Some of the things that can be improved is with the UI functioning. Sometimes you click on things and they don't actually work. So back end is very powerful, but front end and UI could be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Automation and Support Stand Out, But with Details to Improve"
4/5
What do you like best about Smartlead?

I like that Smartlead has everything centralized on a single platform. The way the metrics are displayed is really useful. Also, the support team is quite good, which gives me confidence when creating campaigns. Having the health of the accounts monitored helps me to have everything much more visual, allowing me to quickly see if my campaigns are going well, if the accounts are functioning correctly, if the domains are properly configured, and if the copy is well written. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smartlead?

When I write copy and email sequences, sometimes I write too quickly and hit save, but it doesn't save fast enough and it doesn't get saved, and that makes me very angry. I suppose that by improving more technical infrastructure experts, it could become an even more robust and faster application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
