"David Nelson - Siteimprove feedback"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

The dashboard with the essential elements/metrics is really helpful. Then, it is very efficient to pass off the issues to developers/authors to drill down into the details and fix them.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

It takes too long to crawl the site and generate the report. Currently, it takes multiple days to complete this. Maybe I'm just impatient, but I really want my results sooner than that. I know part of the reason for this is to not overwhelm our site, but we've got a robust enough platform where this won't be an issue. It would be great if we could turn up the power on the crawler to make it finish faster, even if we had to pay a premium to do it.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

1. We rely on the QA aspect to ensure we don't have broken links or misspellings across the site.

2. We've been using it to improve our technical SEO performance, specifically, our mobile performance.

3. Finally, we've been using the accessibility component to improve our compliance and meet the necessary regulatory guidelines.

"Would Recommend"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

I like that we have support. Other analytics tools I've used in the past feel more like you're walking in the dark. So thank you for being helpful.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

There's not much I dislike. I guess one thing is that I have to reteach myself things often because there is so much to sift through, but I think that comes with the analytics territory.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are trying to solve SEO and content problems. The benefit is that we're able to get an SEO overview and get a summary of our content.

"Good management and achievement of objectives that you want to achieve on your web sites"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

I like that the price of Siteimprove is quite considerable compared to similar platforms that are on the market; I think it has a clean and easy-to-use interface, which makes the venue one of the best in terms of accessibility, use and analysis to achieve to have monitoring of our web pages without having any interruption in the work planning. Siteimprove generates super complete reports covering the area of quality control and accessibility for any user. One of the best tools this platform has is the ability to scan a web page in case you need specific information from it.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

So far, we have not given with particular dislikes; we are still growing with the platform; therefore, sometimes, we would love to receive invitations to take inductions through the academy and thus continue learning the tools or techniques that Siteimprove provides. The only thing we can say so far that would be of great support is to have the means to make specific configurations on a board to classify the different types of users.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

Without a doubt, we have had more time to dedicate and focus our energy on situations that require it within our organization thanks to the automation, analysis and follow-ups that Siteimprove's platform provides us. As an organization, one of our responsibilities is to have web page editors identify spelling errors or broken links in a high number of pages; since we use the tools of this platform, our team responsible for this type of task has had a much broader vision of what is required, being able to address and fix it much more effectively in record time.

"SiteImprove is robust, user-friendly and well supported to help drive website success"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

The UI intuitive and user-friendly. The navigation, dashboards and policies make it pretty straightforward to understand what you are seeing and how to take action. I am a data geek, so I have used dozens of BI tools and databases, which can have a steep learning curve, but SiteImprove makes it easy for web admins, content managers and executives to understand the current state of the website, the trendlines of process in different areas and the opportunities for improvement. We started with just the QA module (including Accessibility) and made a lot of gains in a s short time. The interface, customer success manager and support were all strong, so we added the SEO module, then Analytics and recently the Performance module to help with page load speed optimization. I like the DCI (Digital Certainty Index) and have included it in my team goals.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

We have struggled a bit with implementing custom event tracking in Analytics. The SiteImprove support team is very responsive, but we are used to doing everything ourselves in Google Tag Manager, so it is a bit of a mind-shift to work through their support team or to develop the custom events in JS.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

SiteImprove is improving the digital experience on our websites, by identifying issues, such as broken links, slow page loads and accessibility issues. In addition, SiteImprove serves as a comprehensive cockpit to analyzing and improving our sites. We have built our our Website KPIs (and underlying metrics and categories) in SiteImprove and found it to be much quicker and easier than other analytics tools. We actually started to build these out in Google Anlaytics, but ran into problems grouping pages in a manner that aligned with our content owners and goals. We have a number of other analytical tools tied to our website, but we keep coming back to SiteImprove, as it is effective and we can see our progress and prioritize next steps very easily.
