"The complete solution to optimize your online presence"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

Siteimprove is an easy-to-use and powerful software tool that helps us improve the organization's website quality and provide visitors with a better web experience. I like its interface; it is straightforward to use and offers an intuitive experience, things that significantly facilitate the implementation and daily use of the tool; it integrates a wide range of features such as SEO analysis, web accessibility, content and performance, among others that help us improve our online presence; in addition, the platform offers customizable reports and task scheduling options to save time and effort. Another thing I also liked is that the platform offers integrations with a wide range of tools and platforms.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

Some functions within the software can be complex and require more learning time to fully understand; also, the amount of information provided can overwhelm some users.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

Siteimprove has been a reliable and valuable tool for improving the quality of all our websites; it has provided us with a wide range of options and features to cover all essential aspects of websites, from SEO analysis and web accessibility to performance and content; it has helped us maximize our online presence. Using this tool has made it much easier to identify problems and has helped us find practical solutions to improve the quality of the website.

"Siteimprove makes it easy to maintain quality for any sized website."

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

All of the features are great. The SEO panel is my favorite. Not all SEO improvements are easy to do, but Siteimprove gives clear instructions on how to improve your score.m

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

No other product comes close to Siteimprove in terms of features, ease-of-use, usefulness, and price. Collaboration features are solid but could grow.

Recommendations to others considering Siteimprove:

There are similar tools to Siteimprove out there, but none can match the value. Whether you are a developer, author, or manager, it's important to maintain a quality site.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

Accessibility is important to us and we follow WCAG 2.1 guidelines as much as possible. Mistakes are easy to make in this area, even for seasoned developers. Siteimprove quickly catches issues and provides solutions. I prefer this over paying ten times the amount it would take for a vendor audit.

"A great all-round package for SEO and analytics teams"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

Siteimprove is a very intuitive tool that is easy to understand and user-friendly. It's a great way of condensing all of your SEO and analytics requirements into one place to measure our website and content from both perspectives. It is well-organised and simple to get to grips with. The site makes suggestions on both technical and content SEO requirements and has a useful feature that recommends which work should be done first based on the complexity of the task in question and the predicted improvement to your site once finished. This makes organising workflows and prioritising tasks easy. The Siteimprove package is also supported by good customer service and a thorough Help Centre - if you need to know something, chances are there will be online tools to explain it.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

One challenge we have is that Siteimprove doesn't connect to our CMS. So whilst the Siteimprove software will flag up areas that need improvement or development, it is still a manual process to find those areas within our CMS system and correct them. As a large institution with a complex CMS covering multiple websites and thousands of pages, this can be time-consuming but it wouldn't put me off investing in a software tool such as Siteimprove in the first place. Also, keep an eye on your credit allowance - you can soon eat them up when running multiple activity plans at the same time!

Recommendations to others considering Siteimprove:

It's a great package for medium-sized businesses looking to improve their SEO and analytics. The easy-to-understand features, customer support and high level of online information mean you don't need to be an SEO expert to benefit from Siteimprove, although it offers capabilities for SEO specialists as well.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use the Siteimprove package to inform our SEO project, ensuring we are following a data-led pathway that will result in genuine improvements to our website. The site is particularly useful at measuring our key content against our competitors and the dashboards allow us to share top-end information with colleagues and management quickly and easily without having to compile separate reports. This saves time and ensures that our reporting sticks to predefined areas of the business that we want to focus on. The keywords fuction also allows us to ensure our priority pages are optimised for the sort of content our audience is looking for.

"Siteimprove - It covers what we need and more."

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

One of the best features in Siteimprove is the ability to set up groups. A person can select a group and the results are tailored just for their needs. We have many sites, but certain individuals are only responsible for a handful of them. With groups, they only see what they need. The use of policies is beneficial for our digital governance. Their digital analytics is easy for our authors to use. We have always had a great turn around when sending questions to their support.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

The price starts getting high when you get into hundreds of thousands of pages for a large enterprise website. I wish it would work behind our firewall so we could use it for our intranet.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use it for finding broken links, better our accessibility, improve our SEO, and much more. From authors to programmers, this tool has shown us how our work has improved our site through their DCI (Digital Certainty Index). It has inspired great conversations between, users, authors, and programmers.

"Amazing Product and Customer Service"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

SiteImprove helps easily point out issues with our website as it relates to quality assurance, accessibility, and SEO. The tool is easy to navigate and find the issues that are categorized in those three buckets. If you do have an issue with something within the product, their customer services/success team is extremely responsive. Any business should have SiteImprove to help with their website health.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

There isn't much I dislike about the product.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use SiteImprove to improve our website health. The problems we are trying to solve are making our site more accessible to anybody and everybody and to make it easier to find on the internet.

"The best content & site monitoring tool for SEO"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

Siteimprove allows you to setup your own policies, allowing their content quality monitoring, to include what you really care about as well.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

I really wish pricing was more transparent (having a pricing guide on the website) as well as having some more features/services laid out for those that are looking for it. I just simply having an account allowed you to see all the features, regardless of having access or not. I also wish that all levels of accounts had SERP tracking, even if for a small amount of keywords.

Recommendations to others considering Siteimprove:

Siteimprove gives you masurable actions to improve the website's content quality, accessibility, and SEO. It doesn't just give you the scores and tell you how great you are doing. The tool actually sorts out different actions to fix and improve your website. It's like having a non-stop SEO audit on your site every week.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are using Siteimprove to monitor our website and ensure that updates we make don't effect the quality of the site. We are also using it as an auditing platform to keep track of and prioritize tasks that will improve the quality of our site. The problem we are solving is having something in place that can quantify and measure the efforts in incrimental and minor updates. We realized going through this process, that while making updates and strides is great, there is a point where simply sustaining your quality level is acceptable.

"They Made a Believer Out of Me!"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

Section 508 Accessibility Verification: Siteimprove takes what is necessarily a complex and nuanced specification and makes applying it to your website content a relatively simple and straightforward exercise. In what is easily Siteimprove's MOST complicated module, 'Accessibility', the compliance issues which SI discovers and the instructions to correct them are very straightforward, with links to WCAG 2.0 documentation and tutorial sites to help explain the references to those website issues, providing in most cases clear examples of both compliance and non-compliance of the particular accessibility-related issue, making it far easier to figure our how to correct than if you were left to your own devices.

For anyone tasked with managing 508 Compliance, Siteimprove is a GODSEND!

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

There's not a whole lot NOT to like, however I suppose one area which could stand a bit of improvement is the somewhat lack of depth in security roles available. Administrators have by default a wide range of permissions, some of which are perhaps TOO wide-ranging for an organization as large and sub-group-oriented as ours. Administrator role permissions are not changeable; however, an option which we could certainly use would be in addition to the default 'System' Administrator role, to be able to create a more restricted 'Group' Administrator, which would have Admin permissions, but only for the particular Group to which they were assigned.

Recommendations to others considering Siteimprove:

In my opinion, if you are looking for enterprise-level SEO and/or 508 Compliance/Accessibility tracking software, which easily integrates with both simple and complex Web CMS systems, there is no other choice than Siteimprove.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

Maintaining the SEO and Accessibility updates in a large state government website is a daunting task. Using Siteimprove to help in that effort is both time-saving and efficient, and I cannot imagine those tasks being performed as well via any other process.

The ability to allow the various state stakeholders to manage their own web sub-sites' SEO improvement, while we in the state's IT management group can deal with the more structurally-based 508/Accessibility issues within the CMS development-related arena is a tremendous benefit. This delegation of tasks has proved to make the entire process much more manageable for the entire organization.

"Siteimprove for Large Scale Site Managemenet"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

Siteimprove provides me with the ability to give each of my five hundred plus content authors direct accountability to manage the quality of their site(s). From basic QA to advanced SEO management and accessibility compliance, Siteimprove provides the tools my users need to keep their content compliant, well-written and error-free.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

On the downside, Siteimprove can be difficult to configure to avoid reporting on syndicated content that should not be counted in reports. On the upside to this, the Siteimprove support team is outstanding in assisting with methods to work around any limitations encountered.

Recommendations to others considering Siteimprove:

I recommend Siteimprove to any organization looking for an end-to-end QA to SEO reporting solution for managing site content with a hosted solution. Siteimprove backs their product with ongoing best-in-class research and product development coupled with an outstanding support team.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

Managing a large multi-site in a distributed authoring model while maintaining consistent brand standards including user voice, student-first messaging, accessibility mandates, etc., is vastly controlled by the reporting capabilities Siteimprove offers.

"A Must-have in Your Digital Marketing Toolbox"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

Nearly everything about this system is best-of-breed and simply awesome! I can't imagine running our enterprise-wide website and digital marketing efforts without Siteimprove by our side all the way. It simply rocks and so do the people behind it. From one product, that is directly tied to my CMS, I can take care of all site maintenance. Not only that, I can monitor analytics, improve SEO, look for untapped opportunities, monitor campaign conversions, and so much more. What's even better is they have an awesome team behind the scenes that is very accessible - whether it is a support issue to providing input on feature enhancements, they listen and respond!

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

The only thing I slightly dislike is that as new features are added sometimes they cost extra as opposed to included in your annual fee. If it is a feature that is related to an existing module that is usually complimentary. However, as the platform continues to be built out, new modules often cost additional. I understand, but it is difficult to justify sometimes in a non-profit higher education environment where budgets are set way in advance.

Recommendations to others considering Siteimprove:

If I were charged with the management of any enterprise-wide website, I would purchase Siteimprove to stand alongside my CMS in a heartbeat! It is easily worth every penny and saves your staff time/money which in turn ultimately shows up in the form of better results for your company's bottom line.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

Siteimprove helps us tremendously with SEO, campaign measurement, traditional web analytics, and user behavior mapping just to name a few. Feature-packed to help us solve problems daily and improve our customer experience!

"Hands Down, My Favorite Tool"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

What don't I love about Siteimprove? My colleagues joke I should be on staff but it has seriously improved the quality and usability of our site, as well as our SEO and ability to address accessibility issues. The interface is intuitive and there are a number of tools to help you prioritize which work should be done first and/or would have the largest impact. There are also an unlimited number of seats so it's easy to assign work to teams.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

The only thing I'd like to improve is being able to add a first found on the possible misspellings. Otherwise, it's just about perfect for our needs!

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

The biggest issue for us was site quality - addressing 404 errors and misspellings - because our site has more than 200 editors. We're also enjoying the ability to set policy and it has made addressing SEO and accessibility concerns easier - it's not just our word on the way the site should work, we have Siteimprove to back us up when users ask why we are doing or changing something.
