"Great comprehensive tool"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

Blog and webinars are super helpful. Tool itself is comprehensive and relatively easy to use.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

The polices don't always work for me. We have a lot of quality checks (need to know what pages have a specific name so it can be changed or have a specific non-broken link) and these kind of checks can be difficult to do.

Recommendations to others considering Siteimprove:

The tool itself is very helpful, but it's the community and experts that you get access to that's the real icing on the cake. We've learned so much about accessibility and improving general website quality from their blog and webinars, that, combined with SiteImprove have really helped us improve our website.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

Broken links, accessibility issues, quality control issues.

"Fantastic tool for monitoring website health"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

Weekly auto scans of accessibility, broken links, misspellings make it very easy to ensure the integrity of web content. Additional heat map features are also helpful.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

I can't offer any downsides. Siteimprove will force you to identify content owners and responsible persons to fix content -- working on your business processes may be the hardest part of using the tool.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

Siteimprove helps us ensure the integrity of our web content.

"A very insightful platform"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

Automated tests quality assurance tests, for content quality, for accessibility compliance, broken links, spelling etc.

Accessibility is very important for our users and SiteImprove provides a very thorough analisis for that as well.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

Pretty solid platform, can't really find a reason to complain as a web developer using it for 3 our websites.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

SiteImprove is pointing out spots that need our attention either it's on the content side or on the code site. Provides more insides than other analogs I used before for same purposes.

"SiteImprove is a wonderful tool for managing and enhancing your website user experience."

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

Accessibility recommendations, SEO improvements, and the overall visibility of your website's stats are impressive and useful. SiteImprove is not only built for the site owner, but the user as well.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

I don't have any strong dislikes, a future improvement could be the precision of deeplinking. Although this is normally rectified through their wonderful customer service, it would be a welcome enhancement.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

My work involves improving the website experience for our users, and our content managers. And SiteImprove helps in both areas.

"Great for global Quality Checks"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

I love how easy it is to make global checks (rather than page-by-page) for spelling errors, broken links, and other quality control issues. We have found nothing else that works as well as this for quickly and easily checking for these issues and resolving them. I also love that SiteImprove is very fast to respond to any questions.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

Every now and then, we'll get a false positive - a report that something is broken when it's not, but these are pretty easy to mark as "ignore." For the most part, the interface is very nice, but there are a few areas where it looks like an older version of the software didn't get the facelift that the rest of it got. These things are so insignificant though, that they are hardly worth mentioning.

Recommendations to others considering Siteimprove:

I recommend SiteImprove, especially for websites with multiple users. It meets a need that no other product has been able to offer.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have hundreds of publishers across multiple departments and with SiteImprove we can quickly and easily resolve broken links, misspelled words, and event inconsistent formatting of things like phone numbers, and dates and times. We are also trying to be more systematic about resolving accessibility issues and hope that SiteImprove will help us there.

"A great all-round package for SEO and analytics teams"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

Siteimprove is a very intuitive tool that is easy to understand and user-friendly. It's a great way of condensing all of your SEO and analytics requirements into one place to measure our website and content from both perspectives. It is well-organised and simple to get to grips with. The site makes suggestions on both technical and content SEO requirements and has a useful feature that recommends which work should be done first based on the complexity of the task in question and the predicted improvement to your site once finished. This makes organising workflows and prioritising tasks easy. The Siteimprove package is also supported by good customer service and a thorough Help Centre - if you need to know something, chances are there will be online tools to explain it.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

One challenge we have is that Siteimprove doesn't connect to our CMS. So whilst the Siteimprove software will flag up areas that need improvement or development, it is still a manual process to find those areas within our CMS system and correct them. As a large institution with a complex CMS covering multiple websites and thousands of pages, this can be time-consuming but it wouldn't put me off investing in a software tool such as Siteimprove in the first place. Also, keep an eye on your credit allowance - you can soon eat them up when running multiple activity plans at the same time!

Recommendations to others considering Siteimprove:

It's a great package for medium-sized businesses looking to improve their SEO and analytics. The easy-to-understand features, customer support and high level of online information mean you don't need to be an SEO expert to benefit from Siteimprove, although it offers capabilities for SEO specialists as well.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use the Siteimprove package to inform our SEO project, ensuring we are following a data-led pathway that will result in genuine improvements to our website. The site is particularly useful at measuring our key content against our competitors and the dashboards allow us to share top-end information with colleagues and management quickly and easily without having to compile separate reports. This saves time and ensures that our reporting sticks to predefined areas of the business that we want to focus on. The keywords fuction also allows us to ensure our priority pages are optimised for the sort of content our audience is looking for.

"Amazing Product and Customer Service"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

SiteImprove helps easily point out issues with our website as it relates to quality assurance, accessibility, and SEO. The tool is easy to navigate and find the issues that are categorized in those three buckets. If you do have an issue with something within the product, their customer services/success team is extremely responsive. Any business should have SiteImprove to help with their website health.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

There isn't much I dislike about the product.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use SiteImprove to improve our website health. The problems we are trying to solve are making our site more accessible to anybody and everybody and to make it easier to find on the internet.

"They Made a Believer Out of Me!"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

Section 508 Accessibility Verification: Siteimprove takes what is necessarily a complex and nuanced specification and makes applying it to your website content a relatively simple and straightforward exercise. In what is easily Siteimprove's MOST complicated module, 'Accessibility', the compliance issues which SI discovers and the instructions to correct them are very straightforward, with links to WCAG 2.0 documentation and tutorial sites to help explain the references to those website issues, providing in most cases clear examples of both compliance and non-compliance of the particular accessibility-related issue, making it far easier to figure our how to correct than if you were left to your own devices.

For anyone tasked with managing 508 Compliance, Siteimprove is a GODSEND!

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

There's not a whole lot NOT to like, however I suppose one area which could stand a bit of improvement is the somewhat lack of depth in security roles available. Administrators have by default a wide range of permissions, some of which are perhaps TOO wide-ranging for an organization as large and sub-group-oriented as ours. Administrator role permissions are not changeable; however, an option which we could certainly use would be in addition to the default 'System' Administrator role, to be able to create a more restricted 'Group' Administrator, which would have Admin permissions, but only for the particular Group to which they were assigned.

Recommendations to others considering Siteimprove:

In my opinion, if you are looking for enterprise-level SEO and/or 508 Compliance/Accessibility tracking software, which easily integrates with both simple and complex Web CMS systems, there is no other choice than Siteimprove.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

Maintaining the SEO and Accessibility updates in a large state government website is a daunting task. Using Siteimprove to help in that effort is both time-saving and efficient, and I cannot imagine those tasks being performed as well via any other process.

The ability to allow the various state stakeholders to manage their own web sub-sites' SEO improvement, while we in the state's IT management group can deal with the more structurally-based 508/Accessibility issues within the CMS development-related arena is a tremendous benefit. This delegation of tasks has proved to make the entire process much more manageable for the entire organization.

"A Must-have in Your Digital Marketing Toolbox"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

Nearly everything about this system is best-of-breed and simply awesome! I can't imagine running our enterprise-wide website and digital marketing efforts without Siteimprove by our side all the way. It simply rocks and so do the people behind it. From one product, that is directly tied to my CMS, I can take care of all site maintenance. Not only that, I can monitor analytics, improve SEO, look for untapped opportunities, monitor campaign conversions, and so much more. What's even better is they have an awesome team behind the scenes that is very accessible - whether it is a support issue to providing input on feature enhancements, they listen and respond!

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

The only thing I slightly dislike is that as new features are added sometimes they cost extra as opposed to included in your annual fee. If it is a feature that is related to an existing module that is usually complimentary. However, as the platform continues to be built out, new modules often cost additional. I understand, but it is difficult to justify sometimes in a non-profit higher education environment where budgets are set way in advance.

Recommendations to others considering Siteimprove:

If I were charged with the management of any enterprise-wide website, I would purchase Siteimprove to stand alongside my CMS in a heartbeat! It is easily worth every penny and saves your staff time/money which in turn ultimately shows up in the form of better results for your company's bottom line.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

Siteimprove helps us tremendously with SEO, campaign measurement, traditional web analytics, and user behavior mapping just to name a few. Feature-packed to help us solve problems daily and improve our customer experience!

"Good management and achievement of objectives that you want to achieve on your web sites"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

I like that the price of Siteimprove is quite considerable compared to similar platforms that are on the market; I think it has a clean and easy-to-use interface, which makes the venue one of the best in terms of accessibility, use and analysis to achieve to have monitoring of our web pages without having any interruption in the work planning. Siteimprove generates super complete reports covering the area of quality control and accessibility for any user. One of the best tools this platform has is the ability to scan a web page in case you need specific information from it.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

So far, we have not given with particular dislikes; we are still growing with the platform; therefore, sometimes, we would love to receive invitations to take inductions through the academy and thus continue learning the tools or techniques that Siteimprove provides. The only thing we can say so far that would be of great support is to have the means to make specific configurations on a board to classify the different types of users.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

Without a doubt, we have had more time to dedicate and focus our energy on situations that require it within our organization thanks to the automation, analysis and follow-ups that Siteimprove's platform provides us. As an organization, one of our responsibilities is to have web page editors identify spelling errors or broken links in a high number of pages; since we use the tools of this platform, our team responsible for this type of task has had a much broader vision of what is required, being able to address and fix it much more effectively in record time.
