"Using Siteimprove is a convenient way to help ensure the quality of your site."

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

The regular reports covering everything from quality assurance to accessibility to SEO are very helpful, but I especially love the ability to scan a specific page on an as-needed basis.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

I wish Siteimprove could be integrated within our CMS so we could check pages before activation. As it is now, we have to push a page live and then run Siteimprove. Still, better than nothing!

Recommendations to others considering Siteimprove:

This is a good all-around tool for maintaining site quality, readability, accessibility and SEO. It's customizable for your site needs, which adds even more value.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

Using Siteimprove has allowed us to ensure quality control sitewide. We don't have to wait until a site visitor notifies us of an error. Instead, we can use the weekly reports to stay on top of misspellings and broken links, among other things. We are especially pleased to have been able to improve our accessibility scores in multiple areas.

"Recommendations and suggestions for improving your website."

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

There are a few things I like best about Siteimprove:

It has extensive accessibility and analytics capabilities that allow me to keep track of my website's status without interrupting my workday. The price is quite reasonable compared to other similar products on the market. The customer service team is responsive and always willing to help with any issues I may have.Overall, I am delighted with Siteimprove and would recommend it to anyone needing a quality assurance tool for their website.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

One thing I can say that I don't like is that some of the newer features come with an additional charge, as opposed to being included in the annual fee. It would make more sense if these were priced together since they usually go hand-in-hand. Other than that, I enjoy using this software!

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

The Siteimprove service enables us to keep track of our website's performance and verify that updates are not causing any issues. It also serves as an auditing tool, allowing us to stay on top of and prioritize fixes and improvements to the site's overall state. This helps us keep our website running smoothly and looking its best.

"SiteImprove reveals accessibility issues and offers actionable guidance."

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

There are a variety of ways of auditing your site. You can look at issues per page, per issue, per custom policy, per group etc. The interface is extremely simple to use and packs a lot of information into digestible and actionable bits.

I LOVE the policies I am able to create based on CSS selector. This allows us to group and audit our pages and features of our pages on a variety of levels.

I'm impressed with the way the WCAG guidelines are outlined and explained as well as how you can filter in or out criteria or issues based on user role, WCAG level, etc.

The new tagging system is useful! I can easily see how my templates are working out on our live site.

I appreciate the broad overview of my entire site that SiteImprove facilitates. I also love the free chrome accessibility checker SiteImprove provides.

Finally, I appreciate the product support we've received. I have used "live chat" feature multiple times and have received prompt and useful support.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

There are some legacy modules that are not as intuitive as the majority of SiteImprove modules. Site crawl exclusions, aliases are a bit cumbersome.

Recommendations to others considering Siteimprove:

Poke around and set up policies and dashboards. These features can really bring to light areas of your site that require focused attention.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

We've been able to vastly improve the accessibility and quality of our site. We've raised our accessibility score but have also been able to methodically do a manual audit of the accessibility of our site that offers improvements far beyond what the technical score is able to show.

I like its interface; it is straightforward to use and offers an intuitive experience, things that significantly facilitate the implementation and daily use of the tool; it integrates a wide range of features such as SEO analysis, web accessibility, content and performance, among others that help us improve our online presence; in addition, the platform offers customizable reports and task scheduling options to save time and effort. Another thing I also liked is that the platform offers integrations with a wide range of tools and platforms.

Some functions within the software can be complex and require more learning time to fully understand; also, the amount of information provided can overwhelm some users.

"Don't know what we'd do without SiteImprove."

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

Intuitive to use, good support, invaluable insights on accessibility and other issues. Makes it so easy to track where issues are and to go in and fix them. Love the policy feature for things like finding all places on a site where a term appears (e.g., to change a number, remove outdated information, and address other strategic needs from leadership). Loveee the monthly accessibility webinars and that they're done in partnership with people who can give the perspective of actual users with disabilities. They also put on a wonderful Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) program in 2021 — learned so many actionable insights that could take back to my team.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

I can't really think of any downsides. Truly don't know what we'd do without SiteImprove.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

Tracking accessibility issues and easily finding places where fixes are needed. Same with tracking and resolving broken links. Insights on how to improve our SEO. SiteImprove's reports are also extremely valuable for giving real data/metrics to demonstrate the health of the site to leadership as needed, and to show changes in the health over time.

"I think siteimprove has came a long way. I like the improvements!"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

I really like the accessibility features. It gets really in depth and can find out a lot about where on your website that could use more work on accessibility.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

I think assigning the different levels of access to other users especially in an enterprise setting can get pretty confusing. I like that permissions can be varied, I just would like to see the options stated more clearly what is being allowed for access.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is solving our website and how we are doing in our public facing and internal web information. In the Public sector KPI's aren't always as clear. We don't have monthly sales to measure. Government websites are more targeted on service and information. That's why I emphase on the Accessibility features in SiteImprove because we want to make sure our website are accessible to everyone!

"A great tool to identify Accessibility and Quality issues within your site."

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

SiteImprove makes it easy to identify issues with your site content and code. Because front-end web development is an inexact science, there's no one way to build anything. Site Improve boils out all the nuance and tells you what issues you have, what issues you might have and gives you a checklist for remediation.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

There are occasional hiccups with the "global score" changing oddly that can be confusing at times. I just look at the total number of issues and use that to gauge progress instead, so it's not a big deal.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

Accessibility Compliance. Accessibility is a hot-button topic currently and this tool really helps my team to quickly identify issues in legacy components that we can add tasks to fix. Productivity is greatly increased and site quality has been improving daily as well.

"Helping Your Entire Audience Understand Your Message"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

It gives an inventory of an infinitely complex site, boiling down literally thousands of pages to determine where the flaws are.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

There is nothing I dislike about SiteImprove.

Recommendations to others considering Siteimprove:

If you have multiple parties creating multiple sites in an umbrella arrangement, SiteImprove not only gives you the most concise overview, but lets you know where there is room to improve, and gives you the tools to address shortcomings.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

Accessibility has increased nearly a hundred-fold, and what began as a mountain of issues boiled down to a few, and now we are proud of our site's

"SiteImprove makes your website better"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

Siteimprove has various tools that can help to make your website better for you. 2 of the best ones are the accessibility review tool and the QA tool. Both of these work well to give you a quick way to check that your website is compliant, and doesn't have errors like misspellings, or broken links.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

I don't have that much that I dislike. Perhaps the tool could have a more robust dictionary, with notations that would allow us to see who made what correction and why? This allows us to maintain an audit trail of who approved what language, or change to a page.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

508 compliance is one of the biggest things I am solving with Siteimprove. Federal regulations make this imperative on websites. Having the checker built-in allows me to find errors, address, them, and correct them with good suggestions from Siteimprove. This has brought our website from a 50% rating for accessibility up to a 97-98% rating and ensured that the website is accessible to anyone and everyone.

"Siteimprove is a terrific resource, I can highly recommend it"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

The scans for Quality Assurance and WCAG accessibility are very helpful. Building custom policies to search for content or even HTML code can be a great time saver.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

Sometimes the scans produce false positives, and there are always results that must be double-checked by a human.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our websites must be accessible to screen-readers and people with impaired vision. The scans give us data to prove that we are addressing those needs.
