"Easiest BI Tool: Live Snowflake Data in a Spreadsheet-Like Experience"
What do you like best about Sigma?

It's honestly the easiest BI tool I've used. Feels like a spreadsheet but it's pulling live data straight from Snowflake no extracts, no stale data. Setting up the connection with Snowflake is dead simple too, works with key pair or OAuth so it's quick and secure. We use it for a bunch of things client project dashboards, migration trackers, internal trackers and it handles all of it without any hassle. Anyone can pick it up quickly, no SQL needed. Makes my life a lot easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sigma?

Gets a bit laggy when workbooks have a lot going on lots of elements, big datasets, that kind of thing. Some of the advanced features aren't super intuitive at first, you kind of have to figure them out on your own. Not a dealbreaker but could be smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sigma unlocks data value for our organization"
What do you like best about Sigma?

What I’m really liking about Sigma lately is how powerful the outputs have become while still being incredibly accessible. We’re able to build analyses and dashboards that actually drive decisions, not just report on data, and the usability means they can be quickly picked up and used across the organization without heavy training. That combination of depth and accessibility has made it much more valuable as a day-to-day tool, not just something used by a small technical group. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sigma?

Nothing at the moment. I've loved everything on the roadmap! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I appreciate how Sigma provides instant access to critical information, making it easy for me to validate processes and account details. The way Sigma presents information is excellent; the worksheets are impressive and can be personalized as needed. I love the ability to filter data instantly, which saves me time and helps me make decisions that align with company requirements. Setting up Sigma was straightforward; I simply used my company credentials, and everything was ready to go. Overall, everything works well with Sigma, and it's very user-friendly, making it easy to become familiar with the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Data Integration with Sigma"
What do you like best about Sigma?

I like how user-friendly Sigma is. I'm not a data analyst but work with data, and it makes it really easy to pull in data and work with it in complicated ways that don't require coding. Input tables and calculated fields are really useful, and being able to link data via specific columns is a big plus. Sigma allows me to pull data in from various sources and add new information to evaluate or answer specific questions. It's really easy to use, even though I'm new to Sigma. What do you dislike about Sigma?

I'm very new to Sigma so I don't know enough yet to go into specifics but I'd love to have a better guide on best training sessions to watch online depending on specific use cases. More generally as a new user I'd love to have a specific enablement pathway or classes to follow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Sigma Integration with Powerful Plugins and In-UI Data Editing"
What do you like best about Sigma?

I like that it’s very easy to integrate, whether you use iframes or the SDK, and that you don’t have to code everything from scratch—you can simply bring the power of Sigma into your application. I also like the custom plugins, and the fact that it lets users edit data directly in the UI and have those changes saved back to the data store, without needing to build the entire API and backend flow yourself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sigma?

Sometimes it’s difficult to make the Sigma panel look exactly like the application design. I find the styling options somewhat limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quick to get started"
What do you like best about Sigma?

It's quick to get started and easy to use with its spreadsheet-like interface. There's a lot of flexibility in governance, setting up workspaces for different teams, and managing permissions across users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sigma?

There are minor things that should just be available for the base tier like exporting data. Any user can copy/paste data from a table in Sigma into another tool, but they're not able to get an export button unless they're on a higher license tier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Reliable Automation with a Useful API and Solid Embedding"
What do you like best about Sigma?

I actually find the api useful and we use it to automate tasks that i used to do by hand. And honestly the speed is the best part as Sigma loads much faster than power bi which would freeze my browser. Embedding is solid too since you can mess with the css and make it look right. Pricing is simple. You pay your bill and you know what you get unlike those other tools with hidden costs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sigma?

Every time we update the version something always breaks. Old dashboards just stop working or are buggy and i have to stay late fixing them. Documentation is kinda trash sometimes the instructions are just wrong. My space bar stuck now and i really need to get some dinner. Data model view is clunky and makes it hard to see how tables connect. Support is okay but they always make you send a million logs before they help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
