"Effortless Kubernetes Scaling"
4/5
What do you like best about ScaleOps?

Scallops makes resizing workloads in Kubernetes effortless. It’s truly a plug-and-play experience — we deployed it once and it’s been running smoothly ever since. It takes care of scaling automatically and has made our day-to-day operations seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScaleOps?

The system is very good overall, but it’s not very intuitive or easy for non-technical users. It takes some effort to understand all the features and get the most out of the available tools. Once you get familiar with it, though, it’s incredibly powerful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Outstanding Kubernetes Optimization!"
5/5
What do you like best about ScaleOps?

This tool not only delivers on its promises but also exceeds expectations. I consider it an essential addition to almost all Kubernetes clusters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScaleOps?

So far, I haven't encountered any downsides. The tool performs exactly as needed, making it easy to achieve efficient CPU and memory allocation within Kubernetes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cost-Saving Automation and Great Support, But Needs More Observability Features"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ScaleOps?

The auto right-sizing works and saves us money constantly.

There is a very friendly approach by the tech and customer care departments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScaleOps?

There are still many features missing, most of them related to observability.

Loading graphs for extended periods, like 2 weeks or 30 days, can take time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cost Savings Without Compromising Workload Performance"
5/5
What do you like best about ScaleOps?

Cost savings while making sure the workloads are not impacted because of the movement.

Very easy to get started and to implement. Great customer support, we have a dedicated slack channel where we get responses very quickly. They keep on adding more and more useful features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScaleOps?

They are still relatively new, and sometimes there are edge cases that are not caught before we hit them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Absolutely Love This Software!"
5/5
What do you like best about ScaleOps?

The ScaleOps team has been very supportive throughout the complete journey of integrating the service with our existing infrastructure and beyond. They have also been quite proactive at tackling issues. The product itself is well designed and executed, providing cost savings without compromising on availability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScaleOps?

Being a new product, we did run into some issues after version upgrades, and I felt additional scale testing and testing more diverse scenarios could have caught those. But the team came back with quick troubleshooting and fixes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Scaleops allowed us to dramatically reduce costs and keep our cloud bill in check"
5/5
What do you like best about ScaleOps?

I really appreciated how straightforward it was to get started. Our customer team played a significant role in ensuring we made the most of the tool. Once we activated and configured it, we began to see savings right away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScaleOps?

Scaleops enables direct deployment of certain configurations to the cluster. However, we prefer to manage all deployments through IAC for better auditability. If changes are made directly, it would be helpful to have a way to track and audit those modifications. We have experienced situations where users unintentionally deployed changes. "Plug-and-Play Simplicity, But Needs Better Support and Accurate Savings"
3/5
What do you like best about ScaleOps?

Plug and play tech. Even though we took some time to onboard ScaleOps onto our clusters, our major bottleneck was convincing people we need it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScaleOps?

ScaleOps get's really big for bulky clusters and requires to be maintained. Prometheus failing and Dashboards not loading in particular.

Additionally, ScaleOps savings are misleading. I would also like to get an idea of how much money I have actually saved and.

The support model, in air gapped cases like ours isn't too great because it takes a lot of the engineer's time to debug ScaleOps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quick, Clear Results You Can See Fast"
4/5
What do you like best about ScaleOps?

We’re able to see the impact and results very quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScaleOps?

I’d like to see more solutions beyond just workload rightsizing. In my view, Spot Optimization and the other options still feel more like “beta” features, and I’d really like them to feel GA, like ScaleOps’ main solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Expert Kubernetes Enhancements with Outstanding Support"
5/5
What do you like best about ScaleOps?

The product does a lot of nuanced configuration improvements on Kubernetes; you can tell these guys live & breathe Kubernetes. The sales support team is top-notch as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScaleOps?

Minimum core count seems to be in play during the sales process. I have a feeling this product would be useful for a lot of smaller users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Instant Cloud Savings, But UI Needs Improvement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ScaleOps?

For many "standard" use cases, ScaleOps starts reducing cloud costs automatically and immediately after installation, with 0 tinkering or configuration required.

Support for more complex and less "standard" use cases does require configuration and tinkering in order for the product to provide value. However, the documentation and support are quite good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScaleOps?

I find the UI to be non intuitive and difficult to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
