**What do you like best about SafeBase?**

SafeBase allows me to provide total access and review of our security documentation to prospects and their IT teams reviewing our software. Without it, I would have to individually send the requested documentation - which takes time out of my day to find and share. With SafeBase, customers also feel at ease when they can access extended security documentation they hadn't yet asked for. I've rarely had questions coming out of a security review as a result!

**What do you dislike about SafeBase?**

I wish there was an easier way to see a list view of my own clients who've been granted access / viewed security documentation through SafeBase. I can easily see the full list of company clients, but it would be nice and more relevant to be able to filter for the clients I'm working with directly. Maybe there's a way to do this, but I don't know how yet.

**What problems is SafeBase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SafeBase is solving the problem of clients I work with needing to complete a full security review before purchasing our software. Typically, we need to involve their IT department, which I would otherwise not be working with until that final review point. Because of the ease of use of SafeBase, I can add a client's IT contact into the system for full review access within a few minutes using only their name and email - rather than attaching PDF documentation via email and trusting my client to forward it along. It makes my job easier and helps me and the client feel confident about the security review process.

**What do you like best about SafeBase?**

SafeBase allows Demandbase to securely post and share our security and privacy information and documents. Access is controlled. We can even automate sending an NDA via DocuSign when needed. The Slack integration works great. A simple click in Slack can clear a reviewer to access the portal.

I was skeptical at first that infosec reviewers at other companies would not self-serve. However, it has turned out to be a time saver.

**What do you dislike about SafeBase?**

I have not found any significant issues with the application as a limited Sales Engineer user of the portal.

**What problems is SafeBase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SafeBase frees our Sales Engineer and Security teams from manually responding to document requests for security and privacy documentation for info sec reviews. It may even reduce the number of security questionnaires we have had to fill out. My volume of questionnaires seemed to have dropped signifcantly. It is just so convenient to have one secure location for these materials and a way to provide access to our customers.

**What do you like best about SafeBase?**

I love the public-facing security page Safebase allows us to show our security assets and put them behind a clickwrap NDA. Also, they have been more than amazing on the many security questionnaires pouring in for every prospect.

**What do you dislike about SafeBase?**

There isn't anything that I dislike about Safebase. They have been very responsive, friendly, and professional. The Safebase Security page allows us to get our materials in front of so many prospects in a convenient manner for both parties.

**What problems is SafeBase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

-Having the security assets so easy for prospects to request access is very convenient for our customers and us.
-Having assistance from the built-in Knowledge Base and the direct Safebase employees to help fill out all of the Security Questionnaires we get is super valuable for us.
-In Sales, it's nice to be able to show our security posture right up front in deals and help ease customer's minds that we take security very seriously

**What do you like best about SafeBase?**

Makes our life a lot easier when dealing with confidential materials between our partners and end users.  Instead of signing and going through a large back and forth process, everything is handled by the customer and we approve it.

**What do you dislike about SafeBase?**

I think being able to see more documents that are available before requesting access may be ideal, right now it looks like our template is limited to 3 per category, if the customers could see more that would be helpful.

**What problems is SafeBase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the issue of NDA signatures for various individuals, whether they can or cannot see the documentation. It also resolves the pain of NDAs through partnerships, and some company's legal departments will take forever to determine if they want to sign an NDA.

**What do you like best about SafeBase?**

SafeBase has modernised our company's approach to sharing security and compliance documentation with our new and existing customer base.

I found the UI intuitive; it was simple to set up an account, and the layout made it easy to find the proper documents quickly. The Slack integration made it clear when customers interacted with the portal, making follow-ups a dream.

Similarly, our customers have a much smoother experience in accessing our security documents, making for a faster evaluation process.

**What do you dislike about SafeBase?**

I found that, for the most part, SafeBase has been a smooth experience - but I would argue that perhaps some e-mail integration functionality and analytics to alert on what customers are interacting with would certainly improve the experience. Overall though a great product.

**What problems is SafeBase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Faster customer experience when accessing vital security documentation when evaluating our software, leading to an improved UX and smoother experience - speeding up evaluations and our sales cycle.

This solution allows me to upload security documents and present them by categorizing them on a customizable, visually appealing website. Second, it provides me with metrics regarding total downloads, access requests, and section clicks.

**What do you dislike about SafeBase?**

To display our information in a variety of different formats, it should include more web page templates, in my opinion. Apart from this, I really enjoy using the platform for our company.

**What problems is SafeBase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. It enables my company to display our security compliance certifications and accreditation logos for visual information and technical security capabilities.
2. It enables us to share security-related documents with prospects by requiring them to sign an NDA. This also allows us to track how many customers request our documents and why; this is an important KPI to monitor.
3. It enables them to make some documents public and others private. It reduces back-and-forth communication via email.

**What do you dislike about SafeBase?**

We do not have many downsides to SafeBase - perhaps the only suggestion I would have is to connect to other resources like insurance policies so that external people can login to see that.

Safebase provides a centralized source for all of our security an dcompliance- related resources so that our sales and customer-facing teams can saves hours of manually sending this data to clients

I love that SafeBase makes it easy to find whatever I need, which is a huge help in navigating new situations. Whether I'm looking for a security document or need to understand a specific process for my team better, I'm able to get quick answers/insight.

There isn't anything I specifically dislike. Sometimes it can be a little cumbersome getting process completed, but often this is just a byproduct of going through all the necessary steps to be as secure as possible.

**What problems is SafeBase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SafeBase facilitates and makes it easy to share security documentation and information to assist in the procurement and onboarding of new vendor relationships. Having the guardrails to ensure we are checking all boxes from this standpoint let me focus more on my day-to-day and not get caught up in other tasks.

**What do you like best about SafeBase?**

The simplicity of Safebase is one of a kind. It is effortless to use. I used to deal with many PDFs and google sheets, but with a safe base, I can use the safe base account link. It also provides a centralised platform, saving a lot of time in sharing documents with the customer.

**What do you dislike about SafeBase?**

I haven't run into any issue so far. I wouldn't say I like to download documents on my computer because it creates lots of confusion, so I prefer viewing them on the browser.

**What problems is SafeBase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me reduce my time sharing security and compliance documents with the customer. I can use that time to perform all other security operations. Also, it has reduced a lot of back-and-forth email communication, so I don't have to keep track of every communication.

If possible, it'd be great to cut out the middleman as much as possible. Not to sound lazy, but, if we were able to skip the approval process - that'd be killer.

Our vendors require a LOT of info when it comes to security considering we're a data company. Being able to leverage the resources we have available via Safebase has made that incredibly easy

**What do you like best about SafeBase?**

We have Safebase integrated so that requests for access cause notifications via both Slack and Email, which is great. We also have an automated NDA-signing process with Docusign to make sure that anyone accessing our materials has completed an NDA. It takes a lot of work and headache out of the process of sharing sensitive documents.

**What do you dislike about SafeBase?**

I think that a lot of our integrations are powered via Zapier behind the scenes, so there are obviously needs that we have which require an add-on to the Safebase subscription.

**What problems is SafeBase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Safebase automates the processes involved in accepting requests to see sensitive documents related to our security practices, and Safebase also automates processes around fulfilling those requests.

Clients and prospects needs an easy way to access tools and artifacts for their security review.  Meanwhile resources are strapped.  Safebase organizes the security review for clients and saves time for our security or sales staff.

**What do you dislike about SafeBase?**

I'd prefer to white label as much if the explerience as possible.  The Safebase page should look and feel like my brand experience vs Safebase.  Clients need our artifacts and I sometimes waste cycles in decribing what Safebase is and why we use Safebase for clients and for their security reviews.

**What problems is SafeBase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time savings for sellers.  Safebase is a one stop shop for all the assets a client may need for their security review.  And their 'clicks' and requests integrate to my CRM.  Those activities further qualify clients for late funnel qualification as a seller.  If a client is deep in security review, we know there is a high propensity for that client to covert.  Safebase helps capture and activate that data for our sales team.

**What do you like best about SafeBase?**

I love that all of our security documents are organized in one place. When working with prospective clients, sending out the portal to a team's Security leader is easy - they sign the NDA directly through the portal and can access what they need. I find the search to work really well. I also appreciate being able to link out to specific reports easily.

**What do you dislike about SafeBase?**

When sending out portal access, I wish you could more easily add additional contacts. Right now you have to add one person and then add the subsequent employees later. It'd be nice to be able to add everyone in one clean swoop. Minor experience thing

It's speeding up the time for Security reviews for prospective customers. It also saves the back and forth-of getting an NDA signed. It also helps me to track the progress of the security review by opening up visibility to user's activity.

I like that I can manage everything from one place and complete Access Control + Audit reports.

It would be helpful if the UI were better in terms of layout.

Completing Security Questionnaires and RFP'S are much easier. As we simply give them access to our Trust centre to fill out their own questionnaires/requirement.

The security trust center is a lifesaver, providing easy access to our security profile and speeding up the sales cycle. The questionnaire turnaround speed is lightning-fast, and SafeBase people are fabulous! They are incredibly collaborative and open to feedback. SafeBase people continue exceeding expectations by implementing feature requests and operating in continuous improvement mode. The people are great; they consistently go above and beyond. We love working with SafeBase!

We would love more customization capability with the tile categories and names, but I'm sure it won't be long before that feature rolls out.

**What problems is SafeBase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SafeBase reduces the loss in productivity caused by lengthy and sometimes convoluted vendor risk assessment questionnaires (for which there is no standard - every questionnaire is different).

**What do you like best about SafeBase?**

I like the portal that we can share with our customers - it's very organized and easy to find things in. Clickwrap NDA makes things much easier as well. The CSM team has been great about educational sessions for our team as well.

**What do you dislike about SafeBase?**

That's more of a reflection on the industry than Safebase product per se, but security questionnaires are often written in a manner that's hard to understand. Because of that our sales engineers are still required to be in the loop and help fill in the gaps that SB folks were not able to fill in or decypher. I think it would be fantasti if SB created a way for SafeBase reviewers to connect directly to our customers to clarify any questions. Another area for improvement would be a better process for us to push updates to our security information to SB.

SafeBase is helping us minimize SE/SA resources needed for completing our customer security reviews.

In regards to your third point: we are working on new integrations that will make it easier to continuously update trust center documents.

**What do you like best about SafeBase?**

The biggest upside is that security reviews take much less time to complete, allowing me to focus on the work that matters most to our team. Rather than personally maintaining a complex answer bank and keeping it updated, outsourcing answers to Safebase means that security reviews will be filled out accurately and quickly. I then only have to validate Safebase's returned answers, which takes much less time, or occasionally answer more obscure questions. I would recommend Safebase for this reason.

**What do you dislike about SafeBase?**

It would be ideal if I did not have to validate the answers that came back whatsoever, and I was no longer a middleman in the security review process. However, it's a big improvement over what we did previously, so I can't complain!

- Many of our customers don't seem to take advantage of the security portal, but this is likely a flaw in our process rather than any problem with safebase.
- It is hard for account executives to be notified that a request for approval has come in from one of their customers. Maybe there could be a role that doesn't have permission to grant approvals, but is able to know about requests for approval that have been submitted.

2. If you use the Salesforce integration, you should be able to set up roles and notifications.

If you don’t use the Salesforce integration or prefer to use Slack, many of our customers use our Slackbot to give visibility into incoming requests. In full transparency, there's not much I dislike about SafeBase. If there was a way it integrated better into Salesforce (haven't thought too deeply into how that would work though), then that would make it a bit more efficient, but by no means a downside, just a nice-to-have.

It's expediting security reviews and therefore sales cycles. We're filling out fewer security review questionnaires, which can be extremely time-consuming. I've had so many customers say: "No need to fill out our questionnaire; your portal answers all of these."

Safebase is a fantastic option for cybersecurity assurance that really seems to be designed with the requirements of today's security teams in mind. As a cybersecurity compliance, risk, and assurance leader I am able to delegate the responsibility of providing access to customers to our sales team, entirely  - including NDA requirements! My role is very simple and streamlined, which is to populate Safebase with current audit reports, answers, pre-populate questionnaires, pentest reports, and similar.

I can't really think of anything since I have had an EXCELLENT experience with SafeBase's product, product stability, support team, and features. 
 I suppose it would be nice if Safebase populated with our CMS (HubSpot), but I'm also not particularly concerned about that capability since it's not offered by anyone else hardly and the benefit would be very marginal.

SafeBase allows security and sales teams to efficiently and securely share assurance proof with prospective and current customers. There's no need for me to be available to send over documents; customers can access the necessary information on their own as required.

Nothing. This product has helped Field Effect communicate our security and compliance posture immensely.

**What do you like best about SafeBase?**

1. It is easy to get set up, make updates, and manage the trust portal
2. Automation of NDA signing and tracking metrics
3. How Safebase rolls out new features fast
4. The fantastic customer support from the Safebase team
5. Support to help expedite the completion of customer requested questionnaires

**What do you dislike about SafeBase?**

At the moment, nothing really comes to mind.

**Recommendations to others considering SafeBase:**

Onboarding Safebase was one of the best decisions I made to spin up our Customer Trust program. It has helped me mature the process quickly and scale up! The support from Safebase has been unrivaled by any vendor I have worked with!

**What problems is SafeBase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are saving a ton of time by having our customers use our Trust Portal. We have automated sharing out key documents (eg SOC2) and signing NDAs and reducing the number of questionnaires we need to complete. And we can track all of these metrics in Safebase to show the value of the platform and how our team is saving our company (and customers) time!
