What I like best about Rockbot is how easy it is to create the exact vibe we want. The customization is fantastic...we can tailor playlists to fit our audience perfectly, and it always feels fresh instead of repetitive. It runs reliably in the background, so we don’t have to think about it, and the whole system is simple to manage. It’s one of those tools that just works and makes a noticeable difference in the guest experience.

If I had to point out a downside, it would be that setting up playlists and schedules can feel a bit clunky at times. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it can take a little extra time to get everything dialed in exactly how you want. That said, once it’s set up, it runs smoothly and does a great job overall.

Rockbot provides reliable software for controlled music in our family environment. I like the ability to customize our platform with playlists for different times of the day, monitored and filtered through the platform.

Ease of set up for commercial music. It is also easy for staff to understand how to manage playlists, as the online portal is setup similar to individual music streaming services they already use, like Spotify or Pandora. I like that there is an option for Sonos integration. The price point is competitive. If you purchase a Rockbot player, installation is easy. The schedule and playlists make it a "set it and forget it" option for your commercial music needs.

Sonos integration is less seamless than choosing the Rockbot player option. It does work, but it will time out on Sonos and need to be restarted, sometimes frequently. This may or may not be an issue on the Sonos side. The music stream will randomly stop, sometimes multiple times a day. It is not difficult to re-start the stream, but it does take a human to manually restart the stream. I would not recommend buying Sonos just for Rockbot, buy a Player if you do not already own Sonos equipment. It would be better if you could switch back and forth between the Player and Sonos. Unfortunately, you have to pick one or the other. If you need to change, you have to contact your account manager and have Rockbot make the change on the back end.

They claimed to fix the Sonos connection issue, but it was taking too long and I switched to a Player instead. This is the only issue I have had with Rockbot.

I like that it just works. I setup playlists based on the vibe I am going for and it runs 24/7. I also like that it has an offline mode. Internet can be spotty where I am and it runs with an offline buffer so customers dont notice network issues.

I need to have licensed music and they do that. I dont want to pick out songs and manage and it does that. I also can set filters to remove explicint lyrics which is helpful for my establishment.

It's great that I can set it to play certain genres at specific times without needing to change every song or playlist. This feature works extremely well and our members have become accustomed to the good vibes. I love the diversity of the music genre, as it caters to all ages and types of people from around the world. No matter who comes into the gym, whether it's someone older or from a different culture, there is music that suits them, and I love that aspect. The initial setup of Rockbot was extremely easy, and it's super easy to maintain and get back online when there is an issue.

I wish there was an offline version. Sometimes whenever there's a network issue in the gym, our music does go offline, but that's, you know, something personal within our gym.

There are some songs and artists that are unavailable, so it would be best to have more options. When we import a Spotify playlist, there's always about 15% that we can't include unfortunately.
