"Quick, Easy Vulnerability Identification and Risk Validation"
What do you like best about RidgeBot?

What I like with this product is that it is quick and easy to use and to identify vulnerabilities, simulate attacks and validate risks of our systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RidgeBot?

Could have provide more details on resolutions in the generated report and lower its cost for domain (FQDN) as a target. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exceptional power of use"
What do you like best about RidgeBot?

Its power of use, developing very powerful analyses on the assets Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RidgeBot?

Its licensing model, which distances its use in environments like ours that do not need such constant analysis and only require a confirmation of their status once or twice a year, but need that confirmation for legal requirements. It also distances it from use in special itinerant analyses that would require a credit model for our users who go to the solar plants.

I also miss some templates that would allow it to be used, for example, in "non-invasive" mode to be able to use it in high-criticality environments where nothing can fail, but without having to customize everything to ensure that nothing important is taken out of service.

Support for OT devices could also be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effective Security Validation with RidgeBot"
What do you like best about RidgeBot?

I like that RidgeBot has no false positive results and can determine the impact of business criticality. It solves the problem of security validation by not only showing vulnerabilities but also validating them and confirming their business impact. Compared to other vulnerability assessment tools, RidgeBot tests or validates vulnerabilities to confirm if they are technically hackable and identifies the business impact, helping me know what to prioritize first. The initial setup is easy and straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RidgeBot?

I think the documentation is lacking information especially on installation and upgrades. Also, some versions require a lot of resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing Proof of Concept: attack automation is the differentiator of RidgeBot"
What do you like best about RidgeBot?

We conducted a Proof of Concept at the company where I work for the RidgeBot solution, and the result was surprising. Our colleagues from the Red Team benefited the most, but the automation of attacks is truly a differentiator of the solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RidgeBot?

A disadvantage (although it's not exactly that) is that the tool automates so many things that, if the team wants to customize or do something simpler and more granular, it doesn't allow it. On the other hand, that is precisely the proposal: it was made to work that way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized, Intuitive, and Effortless Platform"
What do you like best about RidgeBot?

RidgeBot is like having an automated penetration tester that works incredibly well. Its biggest advantage is that it not only lists vulnerabilities but also autonomously tests whether they can be exploited, saving you hours of manual validation and giving you a true picture of the risk. It integrates seamlessly into your development processes to find security issues early, without delaying releases. In short, it's an ideal tool for teams that need to scale their security, efficiently prioritizing critical threats and providing clear reports for immediate action. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RidgeBot?

RidgeBot is a formidable tool for automating security, but it's fair to point out that its highly polished approach comes with a slight trade-off. By prioritizing efficiency and predefined workflows, it can feel a bit rigid for pentesting purists who enjoy the complete control and creative improvisation of tools like Metasploit. It's like comparing a high-end GPS to the freedom of navigating with a map: the former is incredibly efficient, but the latter allows you to discover alternative routes that automation might miss. What do you like best about RidgeBot?

I really like RidgeBot's ability to bridge the gap between theory and practice in infrastructure security. I also find its initial setup intuitive and easy to implement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RidgeBot?

The impact on network performance, limitations in proprietary web applications, the learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Truly real attacks simulations like bad actors"
What do you like best about RidgeBot?

What I value most about RidgeBot is its ability to simulate real attacks with concrete evidence of exploitation. This is a big improvement from traditional vulnerability scanning platforms that could generate many false positives. Working in a financial organization with high regulatory exposure, being able to validate which vulnerabilities are exploitable with real-world testing allows us to focus our efforts on what's truly critical. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RidgeBot?

One area for improvement would be the custom reporting interface. Although the reports are detailed, for our regulatory purposes, it would be ideal to have exportable templates tailored to ISO 27001 or PCI DSS compliance without having to make manual adjustments.
