Rentalscape Reviews & Product Details

Rentalscape is an AI-powered GovTech platform from Deckard Technologies that helps local governments identify, monitor, and manage short‑term rentals (STRs) at scale. Designed specifically for city and county teams, Rentalscape replaces manual spreadsheets and ad‑hoc investigations with a single, map‑based system that surfaces every known—and likely unregistered—rental in a jurisdiction. The platform continuously scans over 15 million listings across 10,000+ rental websites, tying each listing back to a verified parcel and street address. This gives staff a defensible, property‑level view of STR activity, including listing history, booking calendars, estimated revenue, and compliance status. An interactive map, sortable list views, and detailed property cards make it easy for planners, finance, and code enforcement teams to see exactly what’s happening in their community. Beyond discovery, Rentalscape provides end‑to‑end compliance tools. Jurisdictions can link directly from their website to Deckard’s Express Customer Portal (XCP), where hosts register properties, renew licenses, update details, and remit taxes online. Inside Rentalscape, staff can sync license records, track potential violations, manage outreach campaigns, and generate letters to non‑compliant operators. Integrated complaint intake (via a web portal and optional 24/7 call center) and an inspections module further streamline enforcement workflows. Rentalscape is built to adapt to local ordinances—from occupancy limits and minimum stays to tax rules and enforcement policies—and can be deployed in weeks, not months. With standardized dashboards, evidence‑ready reports, and accessible public‑facing portals, the platform helps communities increase STR registration and tax compliance, reduce manual workload, and improve transparency for residents and elected officials.
