**What do you like best about Red Hat OpenShift Streams for Apache Kafka?**

Red Hat OpenShift Streams for Apache Kafka helped make our rather prolonged, and drawn out deployments, a bit simpler, we are able to manage several aspects of the deployment cycle using Openshift.

**What do you dislike about Red Hat OpenShift Streams for Apache Kafka?**

It is useful for storage of data, however when it comes to certain jobs it can take a long time to process. This is true in the case of ETL jobs it takes a lot of real-time to process these jobs.

**What problems is Red Hat OpenShift Streams for Apache Kafka solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Red Hat OpenShift Streams for Apache Kafka is helping solve the problem of how we deploy changes to our LIMS and CMS systems. It was a little more complex in nature the way we moved around scripts and data for deployments and openshift helped streamline that.

Streams are very fast and reliable but difficult to understand

Difficult to understand and implement.

It's working fine.

Its benefit for faster streaming data and sending messages.

**What do you like best about Red Hat OpenShift Streams for Apache Kafka?**

Very simple to set up with Kafka and the container platform nicely integrated in the software system. Upgrades have not yet been tried but could be a challenge We will see

**What do you dislike about Red Hat OpenShift Streams for Apache Kafka?**

Much of the configuration is very manual unless you use a specialized Red Hat based tool for configuration. I'm sure this can be templatized which we will look at if we scale this platform out

**What problems is Red Hat OpenShift Streams for Apache Kafka solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are helping me with the event streaming platform on the container service that we are offering for our system PaaS. It is also helping our applications from event scaling perspective
