"Real-Time, Actionable Threat Intelligence with Seamless Security Tool Compatibility"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Recorded Future?

The utility of Recorded Future can be seen in its ability to provide real-time awareness about possible security threats. It collects information from diverse sources and displays it in a comprehensible format, making it easy to assess and take necessary action. It provides threat intelligence that is highly informative and actionable, helping users to address issues before they become serious problems. It also has excellent compatibility with other security software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Recorded Future?

One issue is the volume of data, which can be overwhelming without any experience. It requires time to learn to distinguish between the noise and only those elements that need attention. The user interface is quite strong; however, it may not be straightforward for beginners, and there are certain things that need to be configured first before they become functional. There are also instances when alerts can be a bit wide and need validation manually, which creates an extra task. Another disadvantage is that it can be quite costly, particularly for small groups who cannot take advantage of all the offered features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Enormous Threat Intel Coverage with Well-Updated, Workflow-Ready Insights"
5/5
What do you like best about Recorded Future?

As I’ve been using the TI tool, I’ve found that it pulls from an enormous range of sources—dark web, open web, malware analysis, threat feeds, and AI—and helps us process that information in real-life workflows with well-updated insights. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Recorded Future?

Overall, this tool is good in nature and provides almost all the threat-hunting capabilities I need, along with other hunting features and smart threat intelligence. It also delivers results for tactics, which is helpful. Because of that, I don’t really have any dislikes from my point of view, and the same goes for the members in my environment. "Efficient Automation but at a Premium Price"
4/5
What do you like best about Recorded Future?

It seems to me that the best thing about Recorded Future is the Risk Scores system, which is really useful and a time saver. Unlike the industry standard CVSS, which tends to mark everything as critical, Recorded Future provides me with a score based on what is happening in real time, which is invaluable for deciding what to patch first in Fujitsu's infrastructure. The browser extension is also fantastic because it automatically highlights indicators like IPs or domains in any console without needing to enter the portal, making it really functional, fast, and without unnecessary complications. Additionally, the initial setup was quite simple, especially for those already familiar with other cybersecurity stacks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Recorded Future?

The first thing is the price. It's an elite tool and it shows on the bill; for the average user, it's unthinkable and for companies, it's a heavy investment that you have to justify very well. It's not for everyone. Then there's the issue of noise. Sometimes the alert system is too enthusiastic and bombards you with vulnerabilities that, although real, have nothing to do with my tech stack in Fujitsu's infrastructure. I waste more time than I'd like filtering out the chaff to get to what really matters to me. The web interface also has room for improvement. When you start crossing many layers of data or want to delve into a complex investigation, the portal feels heavy and the loading can be a bit slow. And speaking of speed, the mobile app falls short; it's useful for quick alerts, but if you need to do serious management from the phone, you end up frustrated because it lacks the depth of the desktop version. It would be nice if they simplified the navigation to make it more fluid when you're in a hurry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Real-Time Threat Intelligence with Intuitive UI"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Recorded Future?

I rely on Recorded Future for its real-time threat intelligence integration that reduces noise and provides analysts with the context needed for faster, more confident response decisions. It cuts through alert noise and automatically enriches IOCs, focusing SOC time on true threats rather than manual research. I like how it reduces false positives, speeds up investigation and response, and offers real-time visibility into emerging threats and vulnerabilities. The deep, real-time threat intelligence in a single, easy-to-use platform with great integrations and automation dramatically speeds up investigations and reduces alert noise. I also really like the intuitive UI and how easy it is to pivot from a single IOC to full threat context. The out-of-the-box dashboards and risk scores make it fast to see what truly matters. I appreciate using Recorded Future integrated with our SIEM/SOAR stack, which enhances alerts and powers automated response playbooks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Recorded Future?

The main downside for me is that Recorded Future can feel overwhelming at first - there is so much rich data that new users really need time and training to use it effectively. It's also a premium product, so the licensing and add-on modules can be expensive, which makes it harder for smaller teams to justify. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing Security Cloud Service with Efficient, Reliable Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Recorded Future?

The fact that they offer security cloud is a big plus. They’re also one of the pioneers in this field to provide this type of service. My personal experience has been absolutely amazing—whenever I need help, their support team is there for me and my team. I would definitely recommend the service overall. What do you dislike about Recorded Future?

So far, I haven’t had the opportunity to have a bad experience with this company. I’ve been a client since 2022, and every aspect of the service has been handled efficiently and within the time frame they promised. Of course, as we all understand, there are going to be some incidents that are out of everybody’s hands. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Recorded Future Delivers Real-Time Threat Intelligence with Unmatched Data Breadth"
5/5
What do you like best about Recorded Future?

What I like best is the breadth of its data collection. Recorded Future excels at aggregating massive amounts of open-source, dark web, and technical data into a single, searchable platform. It saves our team a lot of time on manual research by giving us real-time visibility into the global threat landscape. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Recorded Future?

he primary drawback is the pricing model. Recorded Future is a premium tool with a price tag to match, which can be hard to justify for smaller security teams or organizations with limited budgets. Sometimes the cost of additional modules feels a bit steep compared to the incremental value they provide. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Threat Intel, Slightly Noisy for Brand Monitoring"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Recorded Future?

I really like Recorded Future because of its API connectivity, which I use to automate some of my workflows. The breadth of sources is impressive, making it a valuable tool for gathering diverse threat intelligence. I also find it easy to use. The initial setup was smooth, and the Recorded Future team was helpful with the setup and handholding process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Recorded Future?

I think there's too much noise in the alerts, especially with logo mentions. As a financial institution, my logo shows up on many e-commerce sites and pages, which are flagged as alerts even though they're genuine and not abusive. This might be considered logo abuse for other industries, but it's not relevant to us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Recorded Future?

I use Recorded Future for threat hunting and threat intelligence, and I like that it provides detailed IOC contextualization and an API for bulk IOC checks. Its integration with SIEM resolves a lot of manual work and decreases repetitive tasks. I find the threat intelligence very informative and actionable, with the ability to show real-time awareness about security issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Recorded Future?

I don't like the deduplication of IOCs and the lack of a possibility to mark reviewed and assessed intelligence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Risk Management, but Pricey"
4/5
What do you like best about Recorded Future?

I like Recorded Future's training modules for the customer base. It's very user-friendly and easy to understand, which reduces manual dependency to a great extent. This helps in improving productivity for both the employees and the organization as a whole. The initial setup was also very smooth with easy instructions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Recorded Future?

I think the pricing is a little on the higher side which can be looked upon. The pricing for the elite package is on a very high side when compared to competitors in market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
