Raycast is the perfect app to replace Spotlight! I tried Alfred before but have never been happy about it, even if it has many features I always felt something missing. Raycast is perfect for the job and it has been able to replace some applications I was using.

While the extension marketplace is growing, some key integrations are still missing or less mature than competitors' plugins. Let me start with the basic pros of Raycast. It sticks to the design language of Mac Os. It comes with bunch of extensions in built and you can do basic things like calculations.

I never do file search as I am relatively organised and tend to locate the files. When I tried (may be once or twice) to search files in Raycast it was bad experience.

Navigation can be annoying when I'm trying to exit an extension. If I'm too deep in my plugin, I have to press the Esc key multiple times. There doesn't seem to be a workaround for this minor issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
