"Perfect Spotlight Replacement with Amazing Performance and Integrations"
5/5
What do you like best about Raycast?

Raycast is the perfect app to replace Spotlight! I tried Alfred before but have never been happy about it, even if it has many features I always felt something missing. Raycast is perfect for the job and it has been able to replace some applications I was using.

It offers plenty of integration, the performance are amazing and have to tell you I also updated my subscription into a paid one because the ability to quickly open AI chat and ask to it quick questions that that's too co comfy for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Raycast?

You know what? I don't have much to dislike Rycast about. I'm pretty curious about the version 2 that they are about to introduce, but beside that, no complaints at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Daily Essential Across Devices with Powerful AI and Shortcuts"
5/5
What do you like best about Raycast?

Is part of my critical road, i literally use it all day across all my devices including my phone. Shortcuts, window re-arragement, and it's AI capabilities are part of my every minute. Pricing is decent, considering the amount of time it saves me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Raycast?

Even when AI capabilities are able to consume my own tokens, the mobile app is not so; This means I still depend on limits from their own tokens which is the only reason I still havent fully moved out of other ai tools.

It integrates awesome with spotify, and support is also great via their slack community. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

""Spotlight Killer with Superpowers" or "Essential Tool for Power Users""
5/5
What do you like best about Raycast?

The incredible speed and flexibility of the extensions. I love being able to connect all my services (GitHub, Notion, Linear) and perform actions without ever leaving the launcher. The Snippets and Clipboard History are indispensable, and the built-in features like Window Management and Quicklink search make it a true all-in-one productivity hub. It saves me tons of time every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Raycast?

While the extension marketplace is growing, some key integrations are still missing or less mature than competitors' plugins. Also, the setup for certain features can be a little intimidating for a beginner, requiring a bit of a learning curve to truly unlock its power. The full feature set is primarily for macOS, limiting utility if I switch operating systems frequently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Build custom tools coded with known libraries. Perfect for a Software Developer"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Raycast?

Let me start with the basic pros of Raycast. It sticks to the design language of Mac Os. It comes with bunch of extensions in built and you can do basic things like calculations.

The best thing about Raycast is that it lets you build custom extensions using React. You just install one or two libraries in npm project and code. The dev tools are also very easy to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Raycast?

I never do file search as I am relatively organised and tend to locate the files. When I tried (may be once or twice) to search files in Raycast it was bad experience.

When you are typing a command it searches in applications and built in commands. But as a backup it doesn't search anywhere else. I prefer it to be google search but some might want files search. It supports neither. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A MacOS launcher that offers many options, but on a steep learning curve."
3.5/5
What do you like best about Raycast?

Raycast does simplify repetative activities, and give the user a one-stop-shop for many different task they may have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Raycast?

I find that there is a steep learning curve, as to get full potential of the application there are many text and keyboard shortcuts to learn, and if you don't use it often, you can find yourself always needing to look them up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best app on my Mac"
5/5
What do you like best about Raycast?

I'm happy! I've found a replacement for Alfred - it's more customizable and has great extensions. It has all the functionality I need for my daily work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Raycast?

Navigation can be annoying when I'm trying to exit an extension. If I'm too deep in my plugin, I have to press the Esc key multiple times. There doesn't seem to be a workaround for this minor issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
