It has allowed us to really move forward with our analytics platform and begin to provide real, actionable data insights to our stakeholders. **What do you dislike about Qlik Predict?** The tool does not integrate with Oracle at this point, which is a drawback. Also, the results are in csv format, so live changes aren't possible and we have to download new versions each time we update. There is a Tableau connection, but setting it up has not worked for us at this time. **Recommendations to others considering Qlik Predict:** I don't know that this tool is ideal for large rollout, simply based on cost. Not only is Kraken one of, if not the, best tool in the ML space, but the support team dedicated to our companies success was and is always happy to help and so knowledgeable on not only their own tool but also on the details behind the Machine Learning outputs and definitions. They always had the answers to my questions, no matter how specific, or even potentially ridiculous, they may have been. Hands down a one of a kind tool and staff, if you have not considered trying Kraken for your company or team, make the commitment. Kraken will not disappoint you!! **What do you dislike about Qlik Predict?** The only downside of using Kraken is once you start, you never want to stop analyzing! Kraken provides an intuitive user interface and the learning curve is as flat as any product I have used. In a matter of a few weeks, we were able to deliver prediction results and provide meaningful data to front line staff. **What do you dislike about Qlik Predict?** I am currently creating a new prediction data set on a weekly basis for multiple front line departments. The ability to automate the steps required to manipulate dates and create these predictions would be a big help. I am looking for options to automate as many of the process steps as possible. **What problems is Qlik Predict solving and how is that benefiting you?** Kraken is being utilized to improve (reduce) the number of appointment cancellations and "no shows" that occur across our organization. The platform is easy to use and intuitive. Users can easily connect to data, pick which data to use in the model, see model metrics, and export results. It's incredibly easy to make edits to the model or run new data through (with no coding and no variables to keep track of!), and we've been able to create a data pipeline to really streamline the process from source data to predictions. **What do you dislike about Qlik Predict?** The Kraken team has been fantastic about making improvements, troubleshooting errors, and keeping us in the loop about issues and fixes. When we started using the software in July, there were quite a few bugs to work through - all of these have been addressed and new features and fixes are regularly added. Someone with no knowledge of machine learning may experience a steep learning curve using this tool. The Kraken team's training is helpful in mitigating this. **Recommendations to others considering Qlik Predict:** If you want to implement machine learning at your organization, but don't have the time or expertise to learn to code, Kraken is a great way to realize the benefits of predictive modeling even without a team of data scientists. **What problems is Qlik Predict solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're able to quickly move from business problem to predictions, changing models and data as needed, without time-consuming coding. We can then visualize the results in the tools we want to use (Tableau) without having to export and connect to a static csv file. We had Kraken delivering game-changing insights after about a day of work from our BI analysts without a background in ML. The speed to stand up a new pipeline from data-to-predictions is incredibly fast, and it's allowed us to learn, iterate, and deploy quicker than I'd previously thought possible. **What do you dislike about Qlik Predict?** The UI is unusual and takes some guesswork at first. I'd also love to see a workflow to programmatically ingest data and re-train models. While most features work smoothly, we've come across a few minor bugs. It's never been anything that a refresh or logging out and in couldn't fix, but it'd certainly save time if some of the quirks were sorted out. Last, documentation and troubleshooting/diagnostic features seem thin and community support is sparse at the moment. In addition, it allows faster development of machine learning models. No need to return to the code and re-code everything, just obtain a new dataset and run it back through Kraken. Kraken integrates well with the data visualization/ETL platform (Domo) that we currently use. **What do you dislike about Qlik Predict?** As of the time of writing this review, there is no option to tune model hyper-parameters which would be useful in tweaking the models. I suppose that the absence of accessible code could also be a downside for some who prefer to deploy their own solutions or have complete and total control over their models. However, as stated before, in a business setting with multiple deadlines this increases productivity. **What problems is Qlik Predict solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have an operational model developed in Kraken which scores opportunities with ~84% accuracy. This data-driven solution allows us to focus our efforts more than we could on intuition alone. ### 22. The willingness to listen to business objective and providing SME's to adjust the objective to an obtainable goal has been very helpful. The easy of using Big Squids model with multiple software integrations so our business isn't tied to only one solution as been extremely helpful. **What do you dislike about Qlik Predict?** I haven't found anything currently. Been very helpful with solutions and ability to work with challenges of a larger organization and multiple business units/stake holders to achieve a common goal. The only thing I can say I have disliked is the time to go live, but that was directly related to our internal shift in leadership and objective that kind of created a moving target. Big Squid took this in stride and help shift focus very quickly. This has given us the opportunity to obtain smaller hidden objectives that we didn't know existed at the start of implementation. **Recommendations to others considering Qlik Predict:** Have global buy in from stakeholders and clear objectives to help expedite the process to success. Start with a small obtainable goal. Coming from the lens of higher education, we aren't your typical client.
