Protecht is looking at how risks are managed for Third Party Suppliers, BCP, WHS, Cyber Security and we are looking at implementing these additional modules for our organisation.

The best part is managing all our regulatory obligations centrally whilst we manage the enterprise risks, incidents and audit reports within the same environment.

The system delivers what it promises. However, it is essential to have an in-house administrator who manages all the modules and supports all the end users, and it gets a bit technical at times.

We are Australia's largest Community/ Affordable Housing Provider, operate across various jurisdictions, and are regulated by multiple bodies requiring annual reporting. The smaller agencies find it challenging to do a single return once a year, as it needs full coordination with almost all the business units. We currently do that for eight entities, and I have 1.5 EFT to manage compliance returns. The best part is we have automated the workflow within the Protecht environment, and in the last three years, we have not had a single error in our compliance submissions. Additionally, if the reports are designed well, that is the icing on the cake.

As an administrator - it's a delight. It allows for a wide variety of possibilities for creation and customisation.

As a user (leadership or management role), it provides a snapshot of the status of the business in real-time and thus makes decision-making more powerful.

The more one creates and customises Protecht, the more a new user may require training and time to familiarise the use of the system.

Gegenrally, Protecht is proactive in introducing its users to upcoming changes, including those required by regulatory or legislative changes. Protecht has a robust support system for resolving issues. It helps us stay on top of new and upcoming changes.

Protecht is such a flexible platform that comes with incredibly useful modules and support with the added ability to be adapted to suit any businesses risk management needs.

Honestly I have not experienced any downsides or dislikes to Protecht.

Enabling the business to link everything back to risk which then feeds in to our risk appetite and environment in a very user friendly format.

The system is straightforward, easy to use and, most importantly, very flexible. You can use the system for a variety of registers and design what works for your organisation.

There aren't any things that we don't like about the system.

Using Protecht we managed to bring all our registers, audits, policy and BCPs under one platform where we can link risks to policies to our audits, legislation requirements. etc. This has enabled us to see the domino effect. We have managed to manage our risks more effectively as well as remaining compliant with all the legislation and policies.

They listened from the start of initial contact with them. They understood that we are not a large company and therefore had to be mindful of costs. They demonstrated the system to the stakeholders, which helped with our case of getting the senior management team onboard. The sales team at Protecht was friendly, professional and approachable.

We would have liked to have a "dummy system" in which we could have reviewed and better understood what the system would do. Maybe a little more time during the implementation stage to understand the functionality.

We have had issues setting up the business units and linking them to AD. However, the support team has given us instructions to help us resolve our issue and also followed up to see if we had resolved the issue successfully.

Protecht continues to innovate on their product, bringing valuable quality of life updates and changes. Its always been easy and a pleasure to work with the staff from protecht on projects, development, or sharing and bouncing ideas off each other.

As a user who really likes to understand the system as best I can, I've always enjoyed trying to make changes or develop things how I would imagine Protecht would, and then to bounce the ideas off my friends and contacts at Protecht. They have always been open to teaching and expanding my knowledge of the system.

Its easy to see that Protecht will continue to improve and become an even stronger product offering in the market.

There is some nuance to using Protecht that may not be obvious to the average user. This is usually in the form of processes within the system (i.e. states being separate to the save button confuses a lot of users), technical terminology (maturity issue with the business, but could possibly be improved in Protecht with layman terms), and navigation.

Protecht brings together our business's risk and compliance data into an single easily managed location. As we develop our business users ability and maturity with risk and using Protecht, the benefits are becoming more apparent. Users are starting to self manage their risks and other content in their own time.

The UI is a plus, as it is not an intimidating old looking system, but modern and sleek. Users are often surprised at how modern and simple the system looks when we train them on the system.

The system is intuitive, flexible and adaptable. It can be deployed to manage a wide array of functions and is easily updated to cater for changes in the business environment.

There are some minor technical limitations, although we have always managed, with help from the Protecht team, to configure the system to address these in a suitable way.

We were asked to provide a system for tracking and reporting to our Executive team on the progress being made to implement a large number of recommendations contained in a variety of different reports across the entire enterprise. Protecht delivered a solution allowing us to significantly reduce the number of overdue items, proactively intervene where items were ask risk of being delayed, and has also provided unprecedented insights, based on the data collected, demonstrating trends and hotspots to highlight those areas that are most vulnerable and require additional resourcing.
