The team at Protecht has been amazing. System is flexible and customizable and they work with us to understand our needs in order to produce best capabilities.

There is no lack of helpfulness. There is just the expected learning curve moving from a silo environment to integrated risk management.

Evolving from the use of spreadsheets in a silo environment to an integrated, transparant risk, compliance and IT management platform where risks and controls can be linked across business units.

It's easy to use which helps with engagement across the business. The aesthetics are good and clear.

Some of the buttons look like they are not for use but they are - they look greyed out. I believe this is being addressed by Protecht.

Risk management was a manual process - large amounts of information in spreadsheets, and we couldn't see the information all in one place. Protecht solved that.

The Product is developed in a way that aligns with the regulatory requirements my firm has to comply with. It's straightforward, user-friendly and build in a way that makes our regulatory obligations much easier to fulfill.

Difficult to call out what I've disliked about working with the Protecht team because the process from implementation to design has been great. Look forward to seeing more from the Protecht doing when running webinars on the discipline I lead on.

Visibility of service mapping as part of the FCA/PRA's Operational Resilience regulation. It enables the business owners to own and maintain their service mapping and enables much more streamline reporting in line with regulatory requirements.

Having collaborated with Protecht and their ERM platform for just over a year, our experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The platform is intuitive and comprehensive, making risk management an added value rather than a cumbersome task. I wouldn't say there's anything I dislike. Building an ERM process from the ground up takes time and is a little tedious, but the platform really helps.

Protecht has given us a foundation in risk management and a platform with which to identify, capture and analyze risks in our environment.

The options and functionality available to a Protecht user enable the user and their business to manage their Enterprise Risk Management Framework with a minimal manual approach.

Complex process to dashboard building however there are tutorials that are helpful so support is there if needed as I am not great with IT related processes

Record keeping of all incident details which enables the review of incidents to be less time consuming

Where to record required components of our ERM framework e.g. risks, controls, assurance testing results etc

The breadth and flexibility of Protecht is great. The core registers and libraries are a good starting point and the ability to tailor them and also simply create our own content is very valuable.

Using the analytics module can take some practice, but it's not overly complex and there is good support available. It is possible to get into difficulty when creating our own registers where they are linked, but the software is designed in a way that it's easy to identify where errors have been made.

Consolidating all of our risk and compliance data into a single location and allowing analysis of the data via reports and dashboards. This has made the risk and compliance work more efficient.

The analytics module provides the building blocks to produce bespoke, real time reporting across all the Operational Risk registers. It’s easy to produce reports with minimal training and intuitive for consumers with little or no experience.

There's not much I dislike about the analytics tool, but if I had to pick one improvement to analytics it would be the ability to set margins and page set-up when exporting to PowerPoint. The tool allows you to configure the print/export layout when exporting to PDF, but not in PowerPoint. It could be that I'm doing something wrong and the functionality does exist, but I haven't found it.

The analytics tool has enabled us to automate the vast majority of our regulatory reporting, while also providing the risk event level detail required at the touch of a button. The dashboards can be configured to meet the needs of the audience, which allowed us to build bespoke reports tailored to meet the needs of heads of department, risk committees and the board.

The ERM has allowed us to manage Risk in a scalable way that is flexible and adaptable in meeting our needs within the dynamic environment we operate (Financial Services) - not only as a platform but how we think of Risk and Compliance management

Nothing in particular - noting you get the most out of the ERM through also developing your inhouse capability in it's usage

Having a consistent Enterprise Risk management view to enable imporved risk based decsions making

The key benefit of proteht is the ablty to house data from across the business in one place and link them together

It is proving very simple to configure and build out additional uses for the tool to suit our particular needs

What is exciting is that I don't think we have scratched the surface yet and the potential there is to grow and increae the uses us huge

The biggest challenge we have had is with bulding out analytics. That is not as intuitive as the production system to use.

It seems to need a more technical knowledge base

The main problem it is solving is reducing th eneed to manage lots of information in different formats and places. Ultimately it will also hugely reduce the manual nature of reporting to various committees. That is in its infacny but it is already providing insights we didn't have before. All of this links to having one single source of the truth and reducing the opportunity for duplication and slight variances that you get when data is held in and reported to different places.

The other benefit is the automation of chasing and escalation, it removes the need for this to be done manually and reduces avaialbe excuses for non compliance
