I find Prophix Software incredibly easy to use. We really like the drill-down feature since it allows us to get to the root cause for why expense codes are higher or lower than expected compared to the budget. The ability to flex budget and look at actual results versus the budget at any given moment is quite valuable. The dashboard is also beneficial as it showcases our key critical KPIs on each user's screen based on their needs. Additionally, the initial setup and implementation were very easy, thanks to the knowledgeable and helpful implementation team, who were great at explaining things to users of all levels in a flexible and understanding way. One thing that has frustrated some of the users is on the Prophix training. The training is designed for basic users, and most of our users have some experience with Microsoft Power BI. They understand some of the characteristics of cubes and layers, so those sections of the training don't really hold their attention. However, you still have to go through it to complete your certification. A way to bypass some segments based on expertise or maybe a test could be beneficial for other users. I like the ability to do custom reports in Prophix Software, which is especially convenient for ad hoc report requests from our operating companies. I find Prophix Software really helpful for keeping all the required information in one place, and the consolidation process has a really small turnover time.
