## About Prisma
Prisma provides TypeScript infrastructure for teams building software with AI coding agents. Instead of assembling a database, an ORM, and a hosting platform from three separate vendors that were never designed to work together, Prisma combines all three into one platform: a type-safe ORM, fully managed Postgres, and TypeScript app hosting, sharing one declarative schema and one config file. The backend is the unsolved part of agentic development. Agents can write the code, but deploying, managing infrastructure, and iterating across the full stack still means a developer manually coordinating between tools. Prisma closes that gap.
