"A great taste of Premiere Pro, and helpful learning tool."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Premiere Elements?

It provides a great introduction to the world of clip based editing, while offering a taste of what Premiere Pro has to offer. Serves as a great introduction for junior level editors to get their feet wet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Premiere Elements?

Lack of keyframing is missed. While geared toward a consumer/novice, the ability to specifically time events is missed.

The lack of subtitles is also unfortunate, while this can be faked by using title cards, it becomes cumbersome and time consuming if there are a lot of subtitles required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Editing Software"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Premiere Elements?

It is very easy to use. If you do not know how to perform a task, the Help section really has everything you need; including pictures and step by step directions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Premiere Elements?

If you have never used this type of editing software then it might seem a little difficult to use, but after completing a few projects the user should be good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Video Editing for Indie Game Development"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Premiere Elements?

My favorite aspect of Premier is the interface. I'm familiar with Adobe's interface and find Premier intuitive and easy to use. It also benefits from having a strong online community which makes finding answers to questions easy. I haven't had any problems exporting to different file types and sizes and I find the number of transitions and effects more than meets my needs for the type of videos I'm editing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Premiere Elements?

I have run into some performance issues from time to time with larger projects but I don't feel this is unexpected. In general I don't really have any complaints but I think if you were looking to do advanced editing you may find it lacks some features but I haven't run into this problem myself. "Best video editing software for beginners"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Premiere Elements?

It is a very simple program, with satisfying results that can be achieved in a minimal amount of time. It accepts the most popular camera format files and video sizes out there. The import and editing features are very simple, and even though it has only basic tools you are still able to do some experiments things with it, like adding some video/audio effects, adding titles or shapes and incorporating video/audio transitions, but obviously, you don't get the complexity that other programs offer such as Premiere Pro or Final Cut X. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Premiere Elements?

The limited features should be probably the no.1 con. Perhaps more tools could be included in newer versions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cool but not perfect !"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Premiere Elements?

Premiere Elements is a cool thing to start with video & sound work, I really liked its intuitivity and the fact it's a little bit like Photoshop but for other medias. That's kinda cool :)

I think Premiere Elements is the best solution to get something better than the free softwares like Imovie etc.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Premiere Elements?

When you're used to work a lot with video & sound, you clearly feel the limits of this warm up software.

I am not using it for work because the Premiere Pro is much more complete. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"is an excellent choice if you do not use photoshop"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Premiere Elements?

has many traditional tools like Adobe Premiere, its use is simple and intuitive, with premiere elements can learn the basics of video editing while practicing with enhanced tools is compatible with Mac and Windows you can make great video projects and different designs with this program Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Premiere Elements?

This software is thinking particularly of the needs of the casual user or amateur video editors, why not include 3D, 4K or multi-camera editing. The professional video editors might find the program too basic and poor in many large professional tools for video editing or major projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
