It can do almost anything you would need it to after customizations. It lets you get things done as a student and can keep all of these things organized for the institution. **What do you dislike about PeopleSoft Campus Solutions?** The problem is the UI is dated. The latest and greatest UI on 9.2 doesn't look all that great either. They are only modernizing certain parts of the application and that leaves end users with the short end of the stick. Students want a mobile first application to access in class and on the go. Giving students an experience that they will enjoy is not really possible with Campus Solutions without using a 3rd party vendor. I appreciate that I can do all of that with 1 program. I also know that it can do tons more but what I use it for it is very helpful. **What do you dislike about PeopleSoft Campus Solutions?** At times it can be difficult to navigate and not as user friendly as I would like. At times it feels outdated and feel that it could use a facelift. **Recommendations to others considering PeopleSoft Campus Solutions:** n/a **What problems is PeopleSoft Campus Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am not sure that I am solving any problems but I do think that there are plenty of benefits. It is a great way for my colleagues and I to share information and keep up with students on one program. For judicial management, we can keep track of student files easier. When it comes to the financial piece and checking my own budgets, I appreciate that I can see them in one area but there are a few too many steps to get to that information. ### 36. We have some situations where the users (students) are not able to get a name change done because of something in the database files not working. IN the age of ERP today, that just seems inconceivable that an ERP system could implemented as such and not give the capability to someone in the organization to do this for the student **Recommendations to others considering PeopleSoft Campus Solutions:** How a product is implemented, MATTERS - if you can be a super user, I would recommend it **What problems is PeopleSoft Campus Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?** As best I can tell, this system interacts with our canvas shell, however students are not able to see in one place all of their requirements to graduation AND the remaining courses they need to take. Again, I am not sure that is a PoepleSoft problem, I think it is an internal administration issue ### 37. In some departments, high turnover rates are prevalent, so new employees are constantly having to be trained. PeopleSoft is easy to learn, which makes training of new hires painless and fast. **What do you dislike about PeopleSoft Campus Solutions?** PeopleSoft could be updated and given a more modern look and feel. **What problems is PeopleSoft Campus Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?** The University I work for needs a software that simplifies processing employee actions and financials. PeopleSoft benefits both the University and the employees by making this possible with little stress involved. ### 38. Please note that mainly use Hobsons Connect CRM as a tool for our prospect/inquiry marketing while we use Peoplesoft as our Student Information System for applicants and enrolls. My time and experience with the product is limited compared to other marketing solutions. ### 39. Everything works smoothly and as intended. **What do you dislike about PeopleSoft Campus Solutions?** The User Interface makes the software very bland and early 2000s. They could seriously do with a graphics overhaul. **Recommendations to others considering PeopleSoft Campus Solutions:** It's not a bad product, does solve the issues it sets out to solve. Navigation between pages is somewhat slow. User interface isn't pretty. **What problems is PeopleSoft Campus Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have used Oracle PeopleSoft platform through SJSU to sign up for classes, pay tuition, and log in work hours. Oracle PeopleSoft's mail system is used to relay information from University Administration to the appropriate students needed to be informed. I have realized that using this software makes signing up for classes and managing Administration-Student issues seamless. ### 41. Customization for special reports/functions, such as quarterly reports, easy to set-up and access. I also enjoy having the "favorites" tab for tools used on a daily basis. **What do you dislike about PeopleSoft Campus Solutions?** There is not much that I dislike about PeopleSoft, except for the initial transition to the system. However, data migrations are never easy or straightforward. **Recommendations to others considering PeopleSoft Campus Solutions:** Get a dedicated consultant to help with the transition, especially if you need the live data immediately. The logic of the system took some time to figure out and having a consultant on board made the transition easier. **What problems is PeopleSoft Campus Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?** Peoplesoft tags and groups helped our unit in a higher education setting more easily identify our specific student population.
