PeakTrace Reviews & Product Details

PeakTrace is an advanced DNA sequencing basecaller developed by Nucleics, designed to enhance the quality and read length of Sanger sequencing traces. Compatible with all ABI DNA sequencers—including models like the ABI 377, 310, 3700, 3730, 3100, 3130, 3500, and 3730xl—PeakTrace offers significant improvements over traditional basecallers such as ABI's KB Basecaller. By reprocessing raw sequencing data, it delivers up to 50% more high-quality bases per trace, resulting in longer reads and clearer trace appearances. This enhancement not only increases the accuracy of sequencing data but also boosts user satisfaction by providing more reliable results. Key Features and Functionality: - Extended Read Lengths: Achieves up to 50% more high-quality bases compared to standard basecallers, allowing for longer and more informative sequencing reads. - Enhanced Trace Quality: Improves peak resolution and clarity, facilitating easier manual verification and interpretation of sequencing data. - Broad Compatibility: Supports a wide range of ABI DNA sequencers, ensuring seamless integration into existing laboratory workflows. - Flexible Deployment Options: Available in multiple formats, including the standalone PeakTrace:Box system for on-site processing and the Auto PeakTrace RP software for online trace processing, catering to diverse user needs. - Cost-Effective Processing: Operates on a pay-per-use model, charging only for traces that are successfully improved, thereby optimizing cost efficiency. Primary Value and User Solutions: PeakTrace addresses the common challenges faced by researchers and sequencing facilities in obtaining high-quality DNA sequencing data. By significantly enhancing read lengths and trace clarity, it reduces the need for re-sequencing, saving both time and resources. The improved data quality leads to more accurate downstream analyses, benefiting applications such as genetic research, diagnostics, and molecular biology studies. Additionally, the flexibility in deployment options ensures that laboratories of varying sizes and capacities can integrate PeakTrace into their operations, enhancing overall sequencing efficiency and throughput.
