"Orchestry Tames Microsoft 365 Sprawl with Smart Governance and Self-Service"
5/5
What do you like best about Orchestry?

t gives organisations a practical way to manage Teams, SharePoint sites, Microsoft 365 Groups and workspaces through controlled templates, approval processes and lifecycle management, while still allowing users to request what they need through a simple self-service experience.

For me, the biggest value is that it helps solve the common Microsoft 365 sprawl problem. Instead of every team, site or workspace being created differently, Orchestry helps standardise naming, ownership, metadata, permissions and governance from the beginning. That makes the environment easier to manage, easier to secure and easier for users to understand.

I also like that it feels designed for real-world Microsoft 365 adoption, not just administration. It supports IT governance, but in a way that helps the business work better rather than slowing people down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Orchestry?

The product is very powerful, but because it touches governance, templates, approvals, naming conventions, lifecycle rules and Microsoft 365 workspace design, it does require organisations to have a clear idea of how they want Microsoft 365 to be managed.

For smaller or less mature organisations, that initial setup and decision-making process can feel a little overwhelming. It is not really a “turn it on and everything is solved” product. The value comes when you invest the time to design the right governance model, templates and processes.

That said, I see this more as a reflection of the complexity of Microsoft 365 governance itself rather than a major flaw in Orchestry. Once configured well, it helps make that complexity much easier to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent UI That Streamlines M365 Governance and Site Adoption"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Orchestry?

Orchestry has an excellent UI for managing governance and adoption of our M365 sites, where we find the typical Microsoft Admin Center as cumbersome and clunky to navigate, Orchestry streamlines the whole experience.

Additionally, the ability to review and approve requests for sites and Teams has become a crucial part to our adoption and workflow of bringing on new Teams and SharePoint sites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Orchestry?

We have not been able to make use of features like the directory due to limited ability to control visibility. We have a very segmented business, so having some sites visible to all individuals is not an option, so without the ability to lock down visibility of the sites in the directory to specific groups, we are forced to disable it entirely. "Top-Notch SharePoint Online Management with Robust Reporting"
5/5
What do you like best about Orchestry?

Orchestry makes is so easy to manage our SharePoint Online environment. The robust reporting, the ability to apply review policies, and the interface are top notch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Orchestry?

There isn't really a downside to using Orchestry, but there is functionality that I wished existed. At the moment, Orchestry provides reporting, but no easy way to change what we are reporting on. For example, I might pull a report for workspaces that are missing owners, but I have no way of changing those without navigating to the appropriate admin portal. "Strong Governance and Lifecycle Controls for Team Sites"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Orchestry?

The governance around it. We still allow people to create Team site without IT involvement but it allows us to put some rules around it, and apply a lifecycle so it doesn't become the wild west. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Orchestry?

There are some limitations surrounding multi geo environments. Although I can force certain groups to only see a specific multi geo workspace, there is no way to do that based on the user's PDL location. Also cannot apply lifecycle policies to sites created in multi geo environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Actionable Reports and Recommendations That Drive Results"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Orchestry?

I love Orchestry’s reporting tools, the security recommendations it provides, and the fact that most items are actionable—meaning I don’t have to jump between different tools to identify and fix issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Orchestry?

The only downside I’ve encountered when using Orchestry is that the reports aren’t customizable. While there are 50+ premade reports available, you can’t choose which columns or details appear in them. I really wish there were more options to customize the reports to fit what I need. "Streamlined Governance with Easy Setup"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Orchestry?

I appreciate Orchestry for being very easy to navigate, learn, and implement. It efficiently handles overall governance, including reporting, provisioning, standardization of deployments, approval processing, and archival automation. This makes processes simpler, especially where limited internal resources would otherwise have to manage tasks across multiple places. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Orchestry?

It would be great if Teams/SharePoint templates could include advanced features without coding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Orchestry helps to solve an entire lifescycle in a digital workplace, highly recommended to fellow IT Admins / System Administrators"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Orchestry?

Orchestry's AI (Copilot) readiness dashboard is a tool which I used in the organization's AI Acceleration program and the results were amazing, also the granular access control is indeed a fantastic move from Infosec point of view. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Orchestry?

Nothing as such, just a feedback to enable agentic workflows like incorporating Slack's or Atlassian's s MCP server. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Our users now confidently launch new projects with consistent, pre-approved Orchestry templates"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Orchestry?

The best thing about Orchestry is that it makes our internal request process of new collaboration spaces much simplified. Users no longer have to remember the technical details they just choose one of the workspaces types in an understandable list. The automated assignment of relevant tags and metadata to new sites was also of great value to the future search and audit. Finally, the guided archiving functionality helps us to cleanly close down a completed client site rather than have the old site linger indefinitely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Orchestry?

For us to fully customize the more advanced features of our templates the learning curve was quite steep in the beginning this requires time commitment. I would like to see more detail in reporting, in particular, on guest user activity across all provisioned sites. It would be helpful to have a more visual/intuitive way of defining complex, multi stage approval workflows within the interface Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
