"Seamless Webinars with a Few Formal Hiccups"
4/5
What do you like best about openmeet?

I use OpenMeet primarily for hybrid webinars and attending professional meetings as well as calls with friends, and sometimes I use the member board integration. I like the join in one click feature because it helps everyone, including the older generation, to join and utilize the software without issues. The voting system checks are useful, and the real-time translation feature is very beneficial for our international clients, improving clarity in communication. I also appreciate the cleaner UI compared to other options, as it makes the experience feel seamless and not tiring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about openmeet?

It's a little too formal. There are no funny filters that we can chuckle upon, and it has a complex backend for hosts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An effective standalone webinar hosting platform with inbuilt video rendering tools"
4/5
What do you like best about openmeet?

The best thing about this OpenMeet platform is that it makes virtual meetings easily accessible with its browser-based approach, no downloads or any standalone application required. I also like how the participants can join sessions without any download, which reduces the friction. This platform also supports interactive features for making video calls, which is very useful for webinars and group discussions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about openmeet?

Though their core functionality is solid, their UI should be more polished and modern, some of their advanced features feels bit limited when compared to other larger enterprise platforms, especcially comes to customisation and integrations. Overall, their platform's intuitiveness should be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about openmeet?

I use Openmeet for quickly scheduling meetings and coordinating everyone's availability without any back-and-forth messages. It saves me time by making scheduling simple and keeping all meeting details in one place. I like how easy Openmeet makes scheduling meetings without any confusion. These features help me save time, stay organized, and make planning much less stressful. The initial setup was very easy, and I was able to start using it quickly. What do you dislike about openmeet?

Sometimes the interface feels a little bit slow, and pages take extra time to load. Improving the speed and making it smoother will make the experience much better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"OpenMeet: Easy Browser-Based Meetings with Engaging Polls"
4/5
What do you like best about openmeet?

OpenMeet is very easy to use and doesn’t require any complicated setup, which makes it great for quick meetings and events. I like that it works directly in the browser, so there’s no need to install anything. The interface is simple and clean, and features like polls and audience interaction tools make sessions more engaging. It’s especially useful for small team meetings, webinars, or community events where you need something lightweight and fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about openmeet?

One drawback of OpenMeet is that it still feels somewhat limited compared with more established platforms like Zoom or Microsoft Teams. It doesn’t offer some of the more advanced features and integrations that can be important for larger or more professional meetings. From time to time, there are also minor performance or connectivity hiccups, especially when more participants join. Overall, it works well for basic use, but there’s still room to improve scalability and add more depth to the feature set. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Meetings, Better than Zoom"
5/5
What do you like best about openmeet?

I use openmeet for online meetings, video conferencing, and virtual classrooms. I love that instead of juggling calls, chats, and screen sharing across different apps, I can get video and audio meetings, chat, and screen sharing in the same place. openmeet lets me host live meetings with video, audio, and chats. I can hold team meetings, conduct remote discussions, share screens in real-time, deliver live lectures, and share whiteboards and presentations. It helps me when communication is messy or scattered, running meetings, sharing screens and files, and keeping discussions in one place. The team of this software is cooperative, and I highly recommend openmeet because it's better than many other apps like Zoom. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about openmeet?

The main improvement needed is not about adding tons of new features—it already has many. The real opportunity is making it easier, smoother, and more modern with a one-click installer and pre-configured server packages. The initial setup was not so straightforward, even though the team was cooperative. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Connectivity Issues Hold Back Great Meetings"
4.5/5
What do you like best about openmeet?

I think OpenMeet is the best app for online meetings. It helps my family with classes and lectures, allowing us to attend multiple meetings at the same time without problems. I appreciate its good initial setup, making it straightforward to start using. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about openmeet?

I don't like that there are connectivity issues during meetings and that the app doesn't work well on older devices. My family uses it for lectures, but the app crashes and lags on some phones. It would be helpful to have a lite version of the app to be compatible with all devices. Also, I think separating sections in the app for lite and professional use could be beneficial. What do you like best about openmeet?

I use Openmeet for work meetings, and it helps me attend these virtually, making it easy to contact people from across the world. I really like the video option, as it allows me to move freely while in a meeting and see the other person I'm talking to. They can even show me certain parts of a document we're working on. The initial setup was very easy and accommodating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about openmeet?

Allow more sharing of documents. Just allow more or 5 documents to be shared. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable, Professional Audio with Effortless Setup"
4.5/5
What do you like best about openmeet?

I find OpenMeet to be a solid tool for remote work due to its stable connection and easy meeting access without complicated setups. It's perfect for staying connected with my team and checking in on data entry projects. I love the reliability you can count on for client meetings or study sessions, and its simplicity with a clean interface free of clutter. OpenMeet offers free accessibility, which is beneficial for those seeking free online courses and job opportunities without a high cost. The audio clarity from its dual-microphone system is impressive, cutting down background noise by 98.6% so you’re heard clearly. The LeakSlayer™ 3.0 technology ensures privacy by preventing audio leakage during work calls. I also appreciate the multi-device connectivity, allowing me to switch seamlessly between my PC and phone. The clear audio reduces cognitive load, enabling focus on understanding ideas instead of struggling to hear. The tool combats listening fatigue by filtering out distractions. Its compatibility with RingCentral, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom is invaluable, offering smooth interaction with its Loop120 USB adapter. The plug-and-play setup is quick and hassle-free, and the one-click pairing is straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about openmeet?

I don't like that the headset's fit is exceptionally loose for many users. It tends to slide or fall off if you tilt your head down, look up, or bend over. It's not suitable for high activity; while comfortable for stationary office work, it's less secure than neckband-style models like the OpenComm 2 for users on the move. "Multilingual and Web-Based, But Pricey and Complex"
3/5
What do you like best about openmeet?

I like that OpenMeet doesn't require a separate app download, making it effective and easy to access contents through a controlled admin hub. I also appreciate that it supports multiple languages, around 40, which is really helpful when engaging a multidimensional audience with different language needs. It's great for web-based engagement and supports both virtual and live content, letting me see how the live audience interacts with the content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about openmeet?

The higher cost and learning curve are its demerits. The costing could be on the lower side, making it feasible for brands and companies to try without spending much. Once you start using it, you have to figure out how to use certain features like Q&A and analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
