I think there are a few features that could be added to Notepad++ to improve it and make it even more useful. One idea is that when I open a text file, it could display the text in different colours. For example, most of the normal text could stay in one colour, while words like “Error” or “Failed” could appear in red, “warning” could be shown in yellow, and words like “successful” or “completed” could be in green, and so on. It's the GOAT as a lightweight log reader, especially on servers. We have multiple servers with services where the logs are rolling logs.
