"Nasuni- Disruptive Technology without the Pain"
What do you like best about Nasuni?

System Admin friendly interface, intuitive design, making it easy for system admins to navigate and perform tasks efficiently. The platform considers many of the challenges with storing which makes it a great tool for scalability and ease of integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nasuni?

Nasuni has an opportunity to improve enterprise service integrations which would really set it apart from it's competitors to really enhance the overall end user and system admin experience. Customer support, is satisfactory, with the post sale experience being lacklust for prompt issue resolution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hybrid Cloud Storage as NAS"
What do you like best about Nasuni?

Nasuni is positioned as intranet NAS leveraging the hybrid cloud storage caching tehchnology ensuring the immutable capability and ransonware protection & recovery. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nasuni?

rasomware protection should have been atleast default bundled option. Access anywhere implementation is not easy or straight forward solution for Enterprise with strict internet exposing limitation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplifies file management at scale"
What do you like best about Nasuni?

The Nasuni platform has removed a large operational overhead from our IT operations team in having to manage multiple distributed file servers and centralised file storage SANs. The simple centralised management model allows our operations team to focus their time on business value objectives with minimal capacity or resiliency activities needed to maintain a large unstructured file service for our business. The company has a good engagement model with customers, user communities and events to share experiences and gather feedback. This is seen with strong roadmaps that actually deliver on features we want to see. The support has been extremely good from first point of contact through to resolution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nasuni?

For us, onboarding our legacy file data was challenging a few years ago. This was related more towards the quality of our data sets. These needed to be cleaned ahead of migration. The platform is better at handling these today and more recent migrations have gone smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cloud based file system that just works!"
What do you like best about Nasuni?

Obviously the best feature of Nasuni is the ransomware protection, but the caching devices are very responsive. We have 17 CIFS shares and since we've migrated we've not had one complaint (knock on wood) about the solution being slow. In fact we've had a few users that have remarked that the response time is better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nasuni?

Honestly, at this point I don't think I have any complaints with Nasuni yet. I've been very happy with the product, the technical support during migration and now we're in a steady state I can't think of anything that I haven't liked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Nasuni transforms file servers into a real cloud-based solution with great scale and performance!"
What do you like best about Nasuni?

There are several key points that really highlight Nasuni.

* Performance - local cache drive can be backed with NVME SSD's for great read/write speeds - typically users have no idea their data is being pulled from object storage such as AWS S3.

* Scalability - The ability to remotely connect any S3 bucket to any other filer around the world, taking advantage of AWS' backbone - allows you to split up workloads by edge appliance and not split the data in the bucket itself.

* Backup - When users need to restore files, even at a large scale, this can be done insanely quick using the management console.

* Customer support - They have some very talented and bright minds working for them. Working with support has always been great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nasuni?

A couple items to note:

* The management UI is good, but it could use some better functionality for bulk editing of items.

* Could use more performance metrics in the management console for self-troubleshooting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Helps in consolidating data and eliminating on-prem infrastructure"
What do you like best about Nasuni?

Snapshot backup is most valuable. It's quick and easy to use. It's controlled only by an administrator, which is very good. It takes 10 seconds to back up a spreadsheet of three or four megabytes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nasuni?

Nasuni does not support different retention policies within the same volume, so you have to keep creating volumes for retention policies. When you create a new volume, it means you're starting from zero all over again. You can't move data between two volumes. You have to move them from your physical device to Nasuni or your cloud device to Nasuni. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Nice product but not open for small scale companies"
What do you like best about Nasuni?

I was using Nasuni in my previous organisation. it is simply superb. I was part of the Nasuni Deployment team where we had to plan and deploy fhe solution. We have migrated 70TB of data on Nasuni. Nasuni including file storage, backup, ransomware protection, and file access for hybrid workers. The Nasuni File Data Platform is a cloud-native replacement for traditional network-attached storage (NAS) and file server infrastructure, but with many more advanced capabilities. Nasuni consolidates file data in easily expandable, highly-durable object storage such as Azure Blob at a fraction of the cost of on-premises or other cloud solutions. The Nasuni approach to data services creates a scalable, innovative platform for digital acceleration, business growth, and data insights previously unachievable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nasuni?

main dislike about Nasuni is, Support is not much helpful and there criteria is that, need to buy minimum of 20TB storage license even if you do not have that much data. Due to this, small scale companies do not afford this solution. we were planning to have in my current org. as well. but due to costings and excess data license issue. we have dropped to implement this in current org. "The all inclusive file collaboration platform"
What do you like best about Nasuni?

Nasuni as a cloud hybrid global filesystem supports people in the office, across branches as well as mobile workers to collaborate on an unlimited amount of files, unlimited in size. Additionally, through its web access with Nasuni access anywhere, it allows to also collaborate with business partners and customers without security flaws, even within Microsoft Teams. It protects your content from getting lost or encrypted and helps you to restore from accidental deletion or on-site desaster within minutes. All in all one of the best decisions we ever made. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nasuni?

Nasuni - although having access to all data as absolution - still behaves as a storage vendor while it could become a data analytics tool that helps to manage, search, learn and create new data from existing data. It also could leverage AIOps thinking to optimize the cloud infrastructure of customers by detailed analysis of connection and traffic data. That said - I feel this opportunity is already seen at Nasuni and visible trends point into the right direction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Long time user of Nasuni products"
What do you like best about Nasuni?

Ease of use and also how it saves on the infrastructure cost of having multiple file servers at many geographical locations. We are a global company Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nasuni?

Nothing I can think of so far. Maybe SSO to logging into the various filers would be a good thing to have Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
