Initially, I wasn't told I needed physical access to the device I wished to monitor, which was not possible for me. This information was only revealed after I purchased the service. Furthermore, when I contacted customer service to explain the issue, they suggested purchasing a $100 upgrade for remote access, which turned out to be ineffective as the service still didn't work. Despite being charged this additional amount, the software has not worked a single day, nor has it solved any monitoring needs as promised. My request for a refund was denied, with them offering only to freeze my account instead, even though I had made it clear from the start that I would never have access to the device. The entire experience felt like a scam, leaving me with wasted resources and unresolved issues. Additionally, there is a lack of transparency and upfront communication about what the service entails and requires. I personally have a nephew so whenever he comes to visit, it's nice to make sure that he isn't going on sites that he shouldn't be going on, as well as ensuring that he isn't viewing anything that a kid shouldn't come across via social media. **What do you dislike about mSpy?** I'd say the biggest downside about mSpy is the value of it. For a per-month subscription, you'll have to pay around $69 (although they do have frequent promos in where you can get it for $48 instead). Unfortunately, in terms of the subscription, it is on a per device basis so although you're paying a lot of money, you're only going to be able to use it for one device. **What problems is mSpy solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main problem that mSpy is solving is being able to safely monitor the internet activity of whoever's device it is installed on. This personally benefits me because it allows me to help monitor the kid's devices in my family to ensure that they are safe online and aren't talking to strangers or going to sites that they shouldn't be going on. ### 7. They keep changing direction **Recommendations to others considering mSpy:** PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE SCAMMERS. **What problems is mSpy solving and how is that benefiting you?** I purchased this product based on some top 10 review sites, which I believe is a cartel site. The product description lists everything that you want to hear, but it does not work at all. They encourage and advise you to jailbreak your iOS, which I thought was an absolute joke. After trying to work for three days, I decided to cancel the subscription and request a FULL REFUND. Since I started asking for a refund, I got emails after emails offering discounts from 25% to 75%, which I ignored. But I did not receive anything about the REFUND. Then started a live chat session, in which they started offering to freeze my account until such time I needed it. No matter what I said, they were unwilling to provide a refund. I was asked to email their billing team, which kept bouncing back. They gave three separate emails, and all bounced back. My strong advice is, PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE SCAMMERS. ### 8. I was still ok with this but even the limited functionality was not working. What was WORSE was that the app is visible on Android 12 (google pixel 4) . I messaged with customer service many times in the two days I was trying to make this work and the end result was that it's visible in the play store and therefore USELESS. Customer service forwarded for a refund and I deleted the app. Now they are coming back to say the reason its not working is because the app was deleted. Ridiculous!
