Creating a database from scratch is very easy in ms sql server. We just have to download it from website and we are good to implement a application. We can also integrate it with various developing tools hassle free. I have to use every day microsoft sql server for mantaining our hospital HIS and also for generating reports. I have used SQL server with many applications over the years and the best part I like is its integration with all standard applications. Sharing of SQL scripts is very easy. The most I like about it is the ease of use, reliability and implementation.

It performs pretty well under heavy load and ensures quick execution with minimal downtime. This is crucial for our business on day to day basis.

My personal favourites are:

1) Azure Data Studio support which brings the power of the cloud anywhere you wish to use it any number of times (for high-frequency users)

2) Integration Service that intelligently assists data migration and makes integration easy is a big plus. Also, the customer support is fantastic and the implementation guides are lucid. All of this makes it easy to use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The limitation is that it can be used only on the Windows platform. The costly enterprise edition becomes an issue at times Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
