"Top-Tier Web Security and Threat Monitoring"
5/5
What do you like best about Menlo Security?

I use Menlo Security for web protection and threat monitoring. I love its ability to provide visibility into web traffic and threats, which makes solving Web Security Issues a lot easier. The tool manages Internet access logs, which is a huge help during troubleshooting. I appreciate the Remote Browser Isolation feature that offers protection against phishing and malware attacks. The URL Inspection is effective in blocking access to unwanted or blacklisted sites, and the Threat Monitoring offers real-time visibility into live threats, helping us take immediate action to lessen their impact. I also find the setup easy to deploy and manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Strong Browser Security That Just Works Without Impacting Users That's Menlo Security"
5/5
What do you like best about Menlo Security?

What I like most about Menlo Security is how easy it is to administer and how transparent it is to the end users. From an admin perspective, the management console is straightforward and intuitive, which makes it easy to roll out policies, monitor activity, and make changes without unnecessary complexity. Day-to-day operations don’t require constant tuning, which saves a lot of time for our security team.

On the user side, Menlo runs quietly in the background. Most employees don’t even notice that their browser traffic is being protected because there’s no noticeable impact on performance or browsing experience. This balance—strong security without disrupting productivity—is what really sets Menlo apart for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Menlo Security?

There isn’t much to dislike overall, but if I had to point something out, it would be the initial setup and fine-tuning, especially around regional routing and localization. For organizations outside major regions, some websites may behave slightly differently at first due to cloud egress locations. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it does require some coordination during onboarding.

That said, Menlo’s support team has been responsive and helpful whenever we’ve raised concerns, and once everything is properly configured, the platform runs very smoothly with minimal ongoing issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The admin console is simple and intuitive, so rolling out policies, monitoring activity, and making changes is straightforward. What do you dislike about Menlo Security?

There is very little to dislike, but the initial setup and regional routing can require some fine-tuning, especially for organizations outside major regions. This may cause minor website behavior differences during onboarding, though it’s not a major issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Browser Isolation with Strong Visibility and Easy Cloud Deployment"
5/5
What do you like best about Menlo Security?

What I like best about Menlo Security is its browser isolation technology, which effectively protects users from web-based threats without relying solely on endpoint detection. It significantly reduces the attack surface while maintaining a seamless user experience. I also appreciate its cloud-native architecture, ease of deployment, and strong visibility into web activity, which help organizations strengthen their Zero Trust and secure web access strategies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Menlo Security?

While Menlo Security provides strong browser isolation capabilities, there is room for improvement in reporting and dashboard customization, which would make it easier for security teams to perform deeper analysis. Some advanced policy configurations can also be complex for new administrators, and broader integration with third-party security platforms and more granular troubleshooting tools would further enhance operational efficiency. "Effortless Security and Seamless Management with Menlo"
5/5
What do you like best about Menlo Security?

Been using Menlo for more than a year, it has been a smooth experience overall. One thing that really stands out is how security runs quietly in the background without affecting the normal browsing experience of users.

People can continue working as usual without constantly noticing restrictions or interruptions, while the organization still maintains strong protection against web-based threats. It creates a good balance between security and user productivity, which is something both users and administrators appreciate.

Another thing I appreciate about Menlo is how easy it is to manage. The interface is straightforward and not overly complicated, making policy changes, monitoring, and troubleshooting much easier to handle on a daily basis.

Compared to other security platforms that can sometimes feel overwhelming, Menlo is more intuitive and saves a lot of time for the security team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Agentless Secure Access Made Easy with Menlo Security"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Menlo Security?

The best thing about Menlo Security is its agentless approach to secure application access. It eliminates the need for legacy VPNs while protecting our internal systems via advanced browser isolation technology. It integrates effortlessly with our Identity Provider (IdP) to ensure secure authentication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Menlo Security?

Setting up granular access controls for legacy internal applications has a bit of a learning curve. Additionally, complex web elements in older internal tools occasionally require some admin fine-tuning to render perfectly through the isolation layer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Top-Tier Extra Security Layer with Powerful URL Controls and Logs"
4/5
What do you like best about Menlo Security?

Menlo Security is one of the best security appliances. We are using this on American Express. For me, the best one is how it provides extra layer of security when users are accessing internet URLs. We can have an isolated extra security for sensitive jobs that has PIIs on their daily work. Its logs is one of our go to when checking internet traffic of our users. We can see if a site is bad or not. We can enforce it to be read, read/write, or be blocked. Its monitoring is also top tier. We are using it to check the top web sites, top users, or top threats. Its reporting is also nice. Very well made and easy to understand. But for me, the best one is the Web Logs. This is my most used feature of Menlo Security. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Menlo Security?

I have nothing that I don't like in the appliance. Maybe, I just want to add this extra feature. Feature to easily categorize an uncategorized site. We are going to another URL to make an uncategorized site to be categorized. If we can make something inside of Menlo Security to make an uncategorized site be categorized easily and see the ticket there, and not going to another URL, that would be great. User experience when it comes to browsing will change

As an admin, I still facing issues with Menlo logs which need to have potential improvements since web logs doesn't show much of information for troubleshooting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
