We use ManageEngine ADManager Plus to automate all operations that involve Active Directory within our environment. We use it from the very beginning in our onboarding process. It is simple to set up different types of profiles for different types of employees. ADManager Plus automatically configures everything from their display name, email configuration, group lists, and licensing. The program itself is somewhat clunky. It doesn't have as modern a feel as some other programs. This doesn't detract from the usage of the program, which is still very effective. However, when things are a bit more modern it makes it a joy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The interface has really improved and modernized over the year. It integrates perfectly with Active Directory and can do just about anything you can imagine. It's speedy, too—large tasks don't take long at all. I've used this product for many, many years (over a decade) and have rarely needed support, but on the rare occasion I have reached out for assistance, they've been helpful. The price is fantastic for what you get. It can seem like a one-trick pony at first, but the more you use it the more you realize what else you can do with it. The ease of initial setup and the reports that can be generated from it are what drove me to want to use it initially. It has so many features that can be used and the setup can be very complex if you really want to dive in, but the nice thing is that it can be done over time. The initial setup to get it reporting and allowing you to make changes from it are very easy and quick. I have had very few issues with it and when I did have to reach out to support, they were very helpful. Quick to respond and answered all my questions. One of the best features of this product is the cost. The only real downside i have found with it is the amount of system resources it takes to run. Not this in general as i run the full Log 360 product, but overall it uses a lot of resources to run. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I appreciate the reporting feature in ManageEngine ADManager Plus. With just a click, I can get reports that would take days with other tools, and ADManager gets it done in minutes. It's incredibly time-saving when I need to find out how many licensed users we have. Exchange online and M365 reports are limited. I know they have another product for it called M365 plus, but if they can bring some of the audits to it, it will be great. Also, through templates, it can improve human errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The GUI makes it easier for techs with less experience to manage AD, as well as HR employees. That takes a significant burden away from IT. The difference between automation and workflows. Trying to configure the multiple screens and steps make it slightly confusing. However, once it is configured, it makes processes hands off which is nice. The support teams will always answer questions about the software quickly to resolve.
