Love the AI agentic, integration and automation capabilities of the product too! **What do you dislike about Kubex?** It would be good to have a interactive timeline view of cost optimizations and savings over period of months. **What problems is Kubex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before Kubex, we were largely guessing at CPU and memory requests for our Kubernetes workloads. To stay on the safe side, we routinely over-provisioned, which drove up cloud spend without clear evidence it was necessary. Engineers also spent a lot of time chasing performance issues, tweaking resources by hand, and trying to interpret cluster metrics across multiple tools. Now we mostly rely on Kubex’s AI-driven recommendations and automation, and that has led to lower costs, better performance, and less operational toil. Rather than manually combing through dashboards, teams get prioritized, actionable recommendations that can be applied automatically through policies. FinOps, SREs, and application owners are finally looking at the same data in Kubex, which makes it much easier to align on changes and track their impact over time. ### 2. While the current filtering system allows you to select specific accounts to view associated resources — which is definitely helpful — being able to group accounts into named sets (e.g., “Team A Accounts”, “Prod Environments”) and quickly apply those groupings as reusable filters would make the platform even more efficient for users managing complex, multi-account environments. We used Datadog to monitor utilization, but analyzing that data and identifying the right instance types required a lot of time, context-switching, and operator judgment. It tracks all the containers, so we can analyse the performance of the sidecar as well. Single-pane-of-glass view of all of your infrastructure, on-prem and in the cloud, across multiple vCenters, and cloud accounts (or multiple clouds). This is the easiest way to get rich reporting for apps that span these different platforms. **What do you dislike about Kubex?** The UI can be a bit sluggish sometimes. Developers are always improving performance, but we have a very large environment and it can bog down even the most robust reporting tools. **Recommendations to others considering Kubex:** Besides only considering the capacity management capabilities, look at the reporting capabilities. The ability to pull data from multiple cloud accounts, and multiple vCenters and aggregating that data is a huge benefit, which gets largely forgotten. **What problems is Kubex solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed a solution to help right-size infrastructure on-prem and in the cloud. Densify has also allowed us to contain software licenses in our VMWare platform to reduce Windows and RedHat licenses. ### 13. Densify has also worked with me for customization of our account to allow for some business specific needs. They also took some of my input and inserted it in to the main product for all their customers. **What do you dislike about Kubex?** There are some features that would be beneficial, especially the ability to "snooze" recommendations based on a period of time. However, my experience with their account team has been the most beneficial as we have needed some specialized reports, and they immediately sprinted to getting them in their roadmap. **What do you dislike about Kubex?** The downside of Densify is the loading of their UI. It tends to be unresponsive or has a long latency. We have mainly switched our use to focus on the API and creating our UI endpoint for customers. In addition, we would love to see more services offered for optimization! **What problems is Kubex solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have solved rightsizing issues with AWS and Azure provisioning saving us thousands. We haven't found any other tools that can give us the level of granularity in reporting that can aggregate multiple vCenters, multiple AWS accounts, multiple Azure subscriptions all in one place. Also the ability to slice and dice filters and views based on any attribute (OS, utilization, custom tags, cluster, owner, etc) makes this a go-to for questions regarding inventory, utilization, or cost. **What do you dislike about Kubex?** The UI can be a bit sluggish. It's improved over time, but I still find myself waiting for several seconds (or longer if it's a large report) for a screen to come up. To be fair, we do have an extremely large number of nodes. **Recommendations to others considering Kubex:** A one-stop solution for all your performance and capacity needs. I find it future-ready and there is no need to worry about upgrading and managing the environment if you look at Densify's cloud-based solution. **What problems is Kubex solving and how is that benefiting you?** This tool was primarily brought into the customer environment to look at capacity constraints and view recommendations. However, in a short-time, Densify provided the Cloud Cost Intelligence (CCI) Module that has been a wonderful reporting solution, enabling users to run the reports and to meet complex reporting requirements. There are issues related to web browser compatibility. However, we are optimistic that such issues would be resolved soon. **What problems is Kubex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Densify is implemented in our organization primarily for public cloud optimization and analytics. It is a powerful utility. **What problems is Kubex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Primarily I am using densify for obtaining reports on various performance metrics, viewing recommendations and checking back with the customer if we can implement them. We have also incorporated analysis on cost saving measures with respect to OS licensing. ### 27.
