As a business who does not have a full ERP system, finding a software provider who could accommodate and bring together data from multiple sources was going to be a challenge. As our WMS is a bespoke software, we could not fully integrate Kefron, and must manually import GRN data. As this falls outside of how Kefron is normally utilised, it does leave an area of risk where a user could potentially overwrite historic data. There is no "backup" feature to restore the platform at a moment in time. Rebuilding the data was an added cost and resukted in downtime. Kefron were able to resolve this for us though given time. AI/Intelligence: It can highlight the key parts of an invoice. It also remembers the invoice and is able to pick out the important details on its own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It isn’t consistent in picking up key parts of the information, and we can’t annotate on the invoice to add comments directly on the document. There should be different filters on the main dashboard so we can filter out exactly what we want to see.

On verification/extraction, I believe it’s similar to picking up information, so I don’t understand why it needs to be split. I believe it should be one step, and if it bounces back, I don’t think we should have to remove all details just to put it through again. I also believe it takes a long time to transfer documents between different fields.

I am unsure if Kefron provides training on how to use the platform, or to show what tools we aren’t using so we can make full use of it. It also doesn’t collaborate well with our other platform. At times it takes a long time for the POs created to go through, and if it’s an old PO or invoice it can bounce back due to the accounting period, which shouldn’t matter because the PO could still be open.

As a business with a large number of people approving invoices daily, we really value the ability to see the full history of an invoice—from when it was received, to who has viewed it, and the steps taken to approve it and by whom. It’s also a very helpful tool when suppliers are chasing updates on an invoice, as we can quickly check exactly where it is in the process.

The system is easy to navigate around, with multiple ways to access the queues and storage centre. It is easy to look at, not over complicated.

The system has dramatically reduced the manual input the accounts team were involved with allow them more time for house keeping, chasing suppliers and general queries with stake holders around the business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Every so often, the invoice templates change and start picking up a different supplier. We then have to send the invoice back to the Kefron support team to correct it. They do this in a timely manner, but when there was no issue with the invoice to begin with, it can be frustrating to have to get it corrected again.

Also, when we choose restricted access for a group approval, once an invoice has been processed the team can no longer download the PDF. This can only be done during coding and approval, which means it then falls to the AP team to download any invoices needed and send them on to the person who requested them.

The reporting could be better with more detailed reports, but i am aware this is something the Kefron team are looking into and we are very much looking forward to it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the email feature of Kefron AP Software, which allows us to communicate more efficiently with suppliers by storing emails and letting us use templates. This makes it quicker and easier to respond to suppliers and handle invoice issues, like rejecting them or stating what needs to be changed for approval. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One issue I have with Kefron AP Software is that sometimes it scans 1s as I's or I's as 1s. This leads to problems with service invoices that usually start with 'SI'. The mistake means the invoice might be processed as 's one,' which can result in duplicates if someone manually loads it or searches for the invoice number the correct way and sees that it hasn't been processed.
