"Updates improved LMS, but still not intuitive"
1.5/5
What do you like best about itslearning?

I use ItsLearning to organize my class resources and enjoy the "plan" feature where I can organize the daily materials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about itslearning?

ItsLearning is missing a level of intuitive design for those using modern technology. Most of the program feels like it is an Excel spreadsheet rather than an LMS. There are no accent or special character features, which means there has to be a lot of copy/paste. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Many Great Features, but a Few Suggestions"

What do you like best about itslearning?

itsLearning provides a platform for many types of resources/courses, as well as an infrastructure that allows for connectivity to other programs such as Google Drive and Google Classroom. The program gives teachers a lot of flexibility of the types of resources provided for students, as well as, the ability to create resources within the platform. Overall, the intent of the platform is fantastic and useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about itslearning?

The itsLearning platform is not intuitive to parents. As an educator, I understand where things are, as well as how to get to them. Our parents frequently struggle to understand where resources are located. The parent login view is very different from the student login view, and I think they should look almost identical. Parents can't see what the student sees unless they use their student's login. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Lots of Options"

What do you like best about itslearning?

I use the assessment tools as a way to give my students practice tests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about itslearning?

I wish it would just let me stay logged in. I would also like it to be able to randomize numbers in math formulas to give students different problems in their questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Would not recommend"

What do you like best about itslearning?

It looks modern and current. Designed to imitate current trends in social media can keep less engaged learners to be potentially less opposed to the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about itslearning?

Its expensive and its unintuitive for instructors. It works against users by putting things in places we wouldn't naturally look. It goes against many of the design trends this sort of product has used for the past two decades. Even the most fundamental tasks of a CMS / LMS are not put where you would naturally expect. I'm guessing they don't do much user testing. They seem to focus more on training people to use the system they designed, instead of spending their time designing a system that is intuitive.

Between using ItsLearning or not using a CMS/LMS, I'd choose not to use one. If forced to use ItsLearning by an employer, I'd seriously consider leaving and what other employment options I have. The product is suppose to make education easier, but it only leads to frustration unless you want to sit through trainings to compensate for their poor design. "itsLearning is where it's at!"
4/5
What do you like best about itslearning?

I like that students and teachers have one place to go for all their courses electronically. It's nice to be able to access all relevant paperwork in one place. It does not have a lot of filler graphics that might hide relevant content from the user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about itslearning?

Sometimes they update and the new set up changes how comfortable you wete effectively using it. Homepages changed dramatically a few updates ago and we are still trying to get our views back to normal. The tree to find stuff can become quite cumbersome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An LMS that fits everyone's needs"
5/5
What do you like best about itslearning?

Itslearning was chosen for our district because of their commitment to supporting Universal Design for Learning. The platform allows teachers to design a learning environment that that is focused on student choice and voice. Students are able to learn through multiple means of representation, show what they know through multiple means of action and expression while being engaging. This includes text, video, audio, images, and embedding.

The platform also allows our corporation to have all of our resources in one area. This can be completed through single-sign-on through LTI or through a very diverse shared library. We have over 2 million elements in our library now.

Itslearning's service is also easy to work with and very responsive. They check in often, work with our specific district's needs, and have given us a voice in the development of the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about itslearning?

The itslearning gradebook is still a work in progress. It is not the main gradebook we use as a district, but it is difficult to make changes to grades on an individual student need. They are in the process of developing a new gradebook and we have been pleased with the pilot versions so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Online learning management system for public schools."
4/5
What do you like best about itslearning?

I like that the vendor's representatives work well to ensure that the system works well with other programs so our students can have single sign-on access to a variety of resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about itslearning?

I do not like not having a spell check feature in the system. I write curriculum and it's a pain have to copy and paste into a word document to spell check. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
