Instead there was need to have separate tenants basing on user locations. Continuous database monitoring is done with this software more effectively. I make many backups with a single account, to have everything stored in one place. Its interface is fast and fluid. Everything works wonderfully. **What do you dislike about Incydr?** The number of devices that users support is not clearly seen, an optimization is really necessary to have details of what is being done. **Recommendations to others considering Incydr:** Code42 will always be good, it allows you to trust and establish various forms of security for files and users. It is ideal for large, medinas and small companies, it does not distinguish the type of organization. It works very well, I am sure you will like it from the first moment you install it. Is incredible. **What problems is Incydr solving and how is that benefiting you?** Code42 intervenes in our work environment to carry out very solid continuous backups. It establishes with many criteria the way of working when choosing which files can be backed up. We can authenticate ourselves in two factors and create user passwords to deepen security. We feel confident using this program. It has given us peace of mind to be able to generate a backup copy of important documents. ### 6. It's application interface is very user-friendly; love the minimalist UX/UI design yet it's easy to navigate. The prices are reasonable and it's much more convenient to keep track of all your files to date without having to go through and update them individually/manually. It also save me time as it offers several backup options, from every few hours to a few days. Definitely hassle free and I don't have to worry losing any of my files or purchase multiple hard drives and often gets lost or muddled with other external drives. **What do you dislike about Incydr?** If you don't have the fastest internet, it usually will take a few hours to run through all the files. Especially if you have an older computer model; it definitely affects its speed. Sometimes it will lag on whatever work I'm currently performing whilst it does its schedule backup. I also feel their customer support system and FAQ not very easily accessible when needed; there are certainly times where I find it hard to looks for answers and had to reach to a specialist via email, which took a few days to hear back. It would also be really helpful if the software is offered is other languages other than English as some of our office colleagues are not native English speakers and would sometimes mistakenly select the wrong options when prompt a message/instruction to run a schedule backup. **What problems is Incydr solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a busy digital designer, I won't have to worry about losing any of my files, in an unlikely event my computer crashes suddenly. Files can be backed up at your scheduled pace and runs smoothly most of the time in the background whilst I work on other things. I can easily retrieve and access the files from other computers and they often provide friendly reminders and updates to make the platform run more smoothly and compatible with the latest iOS system. ### 7. The title customer champion is well deserved with them. I know that if I have a problem that Code 42 and the amazing people that run it are there to help in every possible way. I have to deal with a lot of support from many different companies and Code 42 has always been a call that I don't cringe at having to make as they make the difference from just support and what a customer support champion is. **What do you dislike about Incydr?** Nothing. Just logged in with the credential provided by company and I was backing up in seconds. The amount of system resources that the process uses is moderate (regarding RAM memory and processor), compared with another programs like Symantec or others I don;t remember the name. **What do you dislike about Incydr?** Too many steps until I get to my files (to say something negative, but I really like this app). Another thing I don;t like much is the big installation of the app. Like 934 MB. With all the apps going online (and this one much more being an online backup) It makes no sense to have such large installations. I can't imaging with the SSD drives (some of them 128 GB), this might be a big problem as you really need to have the essential apps installed in your computers. I have 256gb ssd, so, for now, this is not a problem. **Recommendations to others considering Incydr:** There are so many options in the market, but give it a free try and I am pretty sure you will like it. I think if you go to their website, you can try it for free, so you won't loose anything! **What problems is Incydr solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm solving the Backup problems in my company and it's in an encrypted way in the USA, which is very important to me and to us. I originally used their personal edition until I was "forced" to switch to the business edition. **What do you dislike about Incydr?** after being forced to switch to their business version and signed up for 3 years. I opened up a support ticket and they told me my Debian operating system (latest version) is not supported, they only support RedHat 7.1,7.2,7.3 and Ubuntu. Given that Ubuntu is based on Debian I see no reason why it's not supported. Anyways, point being that if you are running a business it's highly likely you are NOT running their "supported" operating systems and will be stuck in the situation where your backups don't work..., potentially losing all your data due to "unsupported. For this reason I would not recommend this software to any colleagues. When I transitioned from personal to business, code42 specifically migrated my computers, they knew the operating systems and could have at that time told me my computer was unsupported. Excellent documentation of Server Install guidelines for all environments. Exellent self Service features for the clients. When we have questions we find more than 80% of the answers on the well updated service websites at code42.com. We use the Smartphone Apps very frequent to restore single files. Now that the Ransomware discussion is growing rapidly we feel comfortable as we can recover quickly due to the File HIstory we have on the storage that allows us to go back in history before the attack. **What do you dislike about Incydr?** The initial backup takes quite some time as it deduplicates and only uses a fraction of the bandwidth. I would also like to see more integration of OneDrive, Box or DropBox as destinations of backup. Pricing structure has changed several times in the last year for business users, we would like to see a ProE-Light version as pure license model. Waiting for an update of the iPhone / iPad device app. Hope to see some better functions on the smartphone side. **Recommendations to others considering Incydr:** Start tests with apr. 5-10 users. Then roll-out in waves and watch the storage size and also adopt your policy rules. FIrst test new upgrades/updates on test server and with test users. This has gotten better with the latest releases but during 4.x we were better off testing first. **What problems is Incydr solving and how is that benefiting you?** Backup of all notebooks/laptops of our company. Exchange of data quickly via the Smartphone Apps. Be prepared for a Ransomware attack and be able to mitigate such a loss of data. Migrate between Windows and MAC machines. ### 12. CODE42 is hands down one of my favorite companies to deal with, no matter what the issue. If it's a technical one, the support is fast to reply, knowledgeable, provide frequent updates, and always makes time for me while never making me feel rushed. On the billing/licensing side, not only to I get regular notifications on when my licenses are due to expire, but I can easily reach out for assistance and there have been times when obtaining some temporary keys have gone through quick and painlessly. **What do you dislike about Incydr?** Currently I have no issue with the product or the service, so there is nothing I can think of here. **Recommendations to others considering Incydr:** If you are looking for a tool that protects the data of your customers or yourself, with simple implementation and excellent service, you will want to take a hard look at Code42. **What problems is Incydr solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use the software for backing up data. It has come in quite handy not just restoring the customer's data to their laptop, but restoring a document to my own laptop and forwarding to a customer who is otherwise unable to access their laptop. ### 13. It's easy to configure and decide what you want to include and exclude. Runs in the background and can limit CPU usage if you're using your computer and more if not. When my OS got corrupted, I restored from the backup that morning and had everything back to normal within an hour. Saved time, effort and work. ### 16. I would like it to be a little easier to open the application and view/change settings without having to find it in the task tray, right click, choose to open the dashboard... **What problems is Incydr solving and how is that benefiting you?** Offsite databackup/disaster recovery backup. That statement goes for the consumer version I use at home and the enterprise version we have implemented at work. Once our enterprise instance was configured, adding users was as easy as installing the software and having them log in. The software runs so well that the users can't even tell it protecting them in the background. **What do you dislike about Incydr?** There will always be feature-requests, but the customer experience is so important to the Code42 team that I can't say there is a single thing I dislike. **Recommendations to others considering Incydr:** It couldn't be easier, and you will look like a hero to your users! **What problems is Incydr solving and how is that benefiting you?** No only are my users are being TVbacked up without taxing the computer resources. We can backup just about every common operating system they want to use. Once we do get it installed, restoring is a breeze. Having our world traveling faculty feel safe about their data no matter where they are is a life saver! ### 31. Configuration was easy and there are additionaly benefits that can be gleaned from a DLP standpoint as well. **What do you dislike about Incydr?** Have not had any negatives yet to be honest. i liked that the updates can be completed from directly within the web interface as well. **Recommendations to others considering Incydr:** Tough to beat , plus allows for on site backups OR cloud backup, whatever is best for your organization. **What problems is Incydr solving and how is that benefiting you?** Remote backups for remote users who have traditionally had to hold the bag for backups along with hard drive failures of the backup units, the "out of space" when users misconfigure their backups or have multiple incorrect backup locations and of course the users who back up directly to their C drive as they do not know better and have not taken the time to verify the backup locations after accidentally being careless and clicking to backup directly to the very same drive that they are backing files up on. ### 32. Any stress that can be taken off of our internal IT department goes a long way. If a user deletes something at 2am, they can restore it themselves without opening any tickets. IT can then see that a restore was completed successfully from the dashboard. **What do you dislike about Incydr?** The software isn't free -- But you do get what you pay for. Not anything bad that I can think of that I dislike about this software! **What problems is Incydr solving and how is that benefiting you?** Looking for a backup solution that just works. It needed to be integrated into our existing infrastructure (AD based), scale with the size of the org and allow both local and offsite options.
