I'd like to be able to copy prompts from thread to thread. Another great feature would be if I could create my own personal glossary of terms unique to my user name. I find myself keeping a file of definitions to use in prompts. Having a user-generated dictionary that could be shared with other non-coding managers would help with barrier to entry and I believe greater usage in our operations department. I really like the HEX generative AI agent; it's the feature I enjoy most. It's incredibly helpful for getting research started, writing code accurately, and synthesizing findings without much hallucination. Additionally, the integration process was very easy and gradual, with HEX making it simple to use CSV files directly out of the box. The threads feature is particularly useful for speaking in natural language, and HEX performs a lot of the analysis automatically without needing much intervention. It has great self-healing properties, too, like fixing code issues easily through the AI agent. I find it valuable to chat with the HEX AI agent, which helps explain results and their ramifications in simple terms, aiding in synthesizing research questions and analyzing data effectively. I think Hex is still figuring out the enterprise use case in general. I tried to use Hex's semantic features, but even though it was supposed to be in my plan, I was not able to access it until very recently. So I think, in terms of the admin panel or the platform itself, there might be some issues here and there. However, I think the team is very responsive whenever you do have a problem. I really appreciate the AI assistant in Hex's recent releases, as it has improved a lot and handles most of my tasks. I can rely on the agent for everything these days, from creating dashboards, and updating reports, to providing a weekly readout of key results that we track for leadership forums. I find Hex super useful for a lot of data movement and Python clustering. It's also great for structuring conversational data and serves as an excellent data modeling platform, much like a live Jupyter Notebook. This setup works well for ad hoc analysis. The embedded LLM is quite useful too, as it allows live querying and chatting within the system to the database, which I find really beneficial. The specific issue I have is the LLM is overprescriptive, and so it will provide changes to the actual data that I'm working on without explicit instructions not to. Additionally, when you work in it as, like, an extensive way to do analysis, it errors out all the time. I think it's significantly overcomplicated with some of the other work done.
