In the initial purchase year of EnergyCAP, there are two main fees. The software license fee is based on the software features you select and the number of meters (points-of-service) to be tracked.
The professional services fee includes the scope of work to get EnergyCAP implemented and your staff trained. Service offerings may include implementation assistance, database conversions, system interface and custom report development, training services, initial CAPture Services, or any other service required for a successful system deployment.
The EnergyCAP Maintenance Agreement (ECMA) fee is included in annual software license fee. The ECMA provides access to technical support, regular software upgrades, and access to data services (Weather Data, Greenhouse Gas factors, ENERGY STAR interface). All pricing is dependent on multiple factors, such as total number of meters, advanced features licensed, and professional services needed.

What is a meter?
A meter is a unique point of tracking or service ID found on a utility bill and tracked by utility accounts. Typically, one utility bill account includes one meter (e.g., electric). However, some utility accounts include multiple meters or commodities (e.g., gas and electric). Other utilities do not have a physical meter (e.g., trash, recycling, sewer, or telecom). Each point of utility bill service counts as a meter.
