As a team of recruiters without technical backgrounds, one of our biggest challenges has always been accurately assessing the technical skills of cybersecurity candidates. The Cyber Proficiency Center has been a game-changer in this regard.
What makes this platform stand out is how intuitive and user-friendly it is, even for those without a deep technical foundation. Setting up assessments is straightforward, and the wide variety of tests available allows us to match the right scenarios to the roles we’re hiring for. This has significantly boosted our confidence in presenting technically vetted candidates.
The reports generated after each test are not only comprehensive and clear, but also highly appreciated by our external clients, who value the detailed insight into each candidate’s capabilities. The structure of these reports makes it easy to interpret performance metrics and quickly identify strengths and areas for improvement.
Another strong point is that the real-world tasks in the assessments reflect practical, job-relevant scenarios – it’s not just theory or textbook knowledge being tested. This gives us and our clients a much more realistic understanding of how a candidate might perform on the job.
In short, Cyber Proficiency Center has become a vital part of our recruitment toolkit. It’s helped us maintain high-quality candidate shortlists, build trust with our clients, and ultimately make better hiring decisions – all without needing deep technical expertise ourselves.
Highly recommended for any recruitment team working in the cybersecurity space! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Overall, our experience with the Cyber Proficiency Center has been very positive. However, one area that could be improved is the process of selecting the most appropriate test for a given position. Since our team isn’t technical, it can sometimes be challenging to determine which assessment best aligns with a specific job description or set of responsibilities.
A feature that could automatically suggest tests based on job titles or descriptions would be incredibly helpful. Even a guided recommendation tool or a library of role-based test templates could streamline the process and ensure we’re always using the most relevant assessment for each vacancy.
That said, this is more of a “nice to have” than a dealbreaker, and it’s something we’d love to see added in the future to make an already great tool even more efficient for non-technical users like us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
