"Excellent Product for Data-led Companies"
5/5
What do you like best about Count?

Collaborative analytics has changed the way we work, it can be used as a primary AND supplemental tool for analysis, dashboarding and investigations. It's easy to setup, great support network with the Count team and easy to setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Count?

It has a lot of potential and is still in approaching more maturity, it's missing some features for query optimisation and performance but they will come with time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Count makes collaboration easier when data modelling"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Count?

Count is a powerful tool for cross-functional teams, making collaboration and data discussions seamless. As an Analytics Engineer, I use Count to build data models with Product Analysts and Engineers, ensuring data quality and metric definitions are clear and accessible. The canvas-style layout makes it easy to move from exploration to production, speeding up alignment and decision-making.

The integration with DuckDB is a big plus, dramatically improving query and visualisation performance. On top of that, Count’s customer support is exceptional — they're quick to respond to bugs or questions, making it easy to keep momentum when working through complex projects. What do you dislike about Count?

While the canvas structure in Count is a powerful tool for collaboration and ideation, it can become cluttered and difficult to navigate if not carefully structured. The flexibility it offers means that the overall organisation and clarity of the canvas heavily depend on the creator’s attention to structure. Without intentional layout and clear documentation, data exploration workflows can quickly become overwhelming and harder for others to follow, especially in larger or more complex projects. "The best BI tool I've used"
5/5
What do you like best about Count?

The canvas has completely changed how we work with data. It’s flexible, intuitive, and genuinely helps our teams collaborate. The spatial layout makes it easy to break analysis into themes and to visualise relationships between metrics in a way that’s unlike any other tool I’ve used.

The product evolves quickly and new features are consistently useful. That pace is much faster than I’ve seen from more traditional BI tools. You can tell the team listens closely to feedback.

The recent implementation of DuckDB on the server is a great example of a new feature that genuinely makes a difference. It lets us push more processing to the browser or Count’s servers, so most interactions feel near-instant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Count?

Very little to dislike, especially now that they’ve closed a number of product gaps, including a well-implemented semantic layer and better folder-style organisation.

One area for improvement would be adding more off-the-shelf templates and design components to speed up the creation of presentation-ready dashboards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A powerful canvas tool for all things analytics"
5/5
What do you like best about Count?

Count applies the collaborate canvas UX of figma to the analytics space, and the result is an amazing product for:

* Data Analysts

* Product Managers

* Software Engineers

* Business partners

The combination of the accessibility of the canvas with the power of the tool makes it an all-in-one data tool. When I have a question about data I always start in Count, whether I'm working with Engineering, Product, Sales, Marketing, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Count?

The canvas approach has a steeper learning curve for users who have not been exposed to that model through Figma or other tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The ultimate data collaboration unlock!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Count?

Count has been a fundamental building block for our data org to move towards a world of advanced self serve and collaboration. It's allowed us to deliver value more quickly and ensure we're optimising the time we spend building great analysis and great visualisations! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Count?

The freedom that comes from a canvas does reduce consistency especially across different teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Data Analysis with Seamless SQL and Python Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Count?

Super useful for exploratory data analysis, love that I can combine SQL/Python easily in one place.

Super easy to use, easy to make reporting that looks professional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Count?

Think its still missing a few features I like in Tableau/Big Query - eg. being able to see the size of a query, selecting one field in the legend highlights only that field and greys out the rest, tooltips etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best tool to explore, understand, report and collaborate on data!"
5/5
What do you like best about Count?

What I absolutely love about Count is how intuitive and powerful it is for daily data exploration. As someone who works closely with data every day, Count has become my go-to tool. The Miro-like board makes it incredibly easy to build and organize my thoughts visually, and the graphics are both simple and effective. It really helps make complex insights understandable—not just for me, but for the whole team.

One of the best things Count has brought to my workflow is better collaboration between product and customer-facing teams. By giving more autonomy to product managers, they can now dive deeper into the data without needing constant support from analysts. It’s also made it much easier to incorporate feedback from support and sales teams, combining qualitative feedback with quantitative insights. For us, that’s been a huge win. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Count?

Honestly, there’s not much I dislike. If I really had to mention something, then I'd say the very occasional bug with my laptop - when I have multiple (like, really a lot of them!) heavy Count boards opened at the same time. And to be honest, it happens maybe once every couple of months! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great tool for frequent AB-test evaluations"
5/5
What do you like best about Count?

With Count, evaluating AB-tests is a breeze. When evaluating a new AB-test, we import a boiler plate via template and only need to adjust a few parameters. Additional drill down plots are created quickly thanks to the drag and drop nature of visual elements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Count?

The setting to automatically execute cells can be dangerous. If you forgot to set a upper limit for your data, e.g., an end date for time series data, opening an old dashboard can execute very large queries. It would be great if this setting would turn off if a dashboard has not been opened for some time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Count is by far my preferred way to explore, analyze & visualize data."
5/5
What do you like best about Count?

Count allows me to explore, analyze & visualize in the way my mind already works. I like to explore off of queries frequently to ensure quality and troubleshoot as needed. Count actively encourages this capability by letting me do a query off of any cell or visual in my canvas. From there, it is really easy to create reports as needed for downstream users and collaborate throughout the process. I've also started implementing their metrics layer + duckdb server which will allow our business users to slice and dice their own data without taxing the data warehouse. I love it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Count?

Any time I think Count could use a new feature, I found out it's already in their roadmap! They are shipping awesome features that are immediately impactful frequently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A game-changer from scratchpad to production"
5/5
What do you like best about Count?

Count has streamlined our analytics workflow. It's quickly becoming our go-to tool for the entire analytical lifecycle: from exploratory scratchpads, support analytics engineering modeling, all the way to final reports for stakeholders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Count?

There's honestly very little to dislike so far. I look forward to native support for more chart types in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
