What problems is Count solving and how is that benefiting you?
Count is helping us bridge the gap between data exploration and communication. It allows analysts to write and iterate on SQL queries directly within the platform and immediately visualize the results—all in one place. This removes friction in the workflow and makes analysis more fluid and collaborative.
It also makes data more accessible to non-technical stakeholders. The recent improvements to navigation—like jumping directly to parts of the canvas via the sidebar—have made it easier for others in the company to engage with the insights we're producing.
Count also enables us to build things we can't easily create in other BI tools, such as metric trees, which help us communicate complex performance structures clearly. Because everything can be adjusted quickly—both in terms of queries and layout—it's also a great tool for building mockups and proof of concepts. We can iterate rapidly and show meaningful visualizations based on in-tool queries without needing a full deployment pipeline or production dashboards.
While it isn’t a full replacement for a traditional BI tool just yet, Count plays a valuable role as a complementary platform that supports fast iteration, data storytelling, and stakeholder engagement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
