There is not much I dislike. It would be nice if I could set up custom endpoints on the Convert site that performed multiple conversions with only a single call to the service. I wrote so code that sends a PDF to the Convert API for watermarking and then sends it to ConvertAPI again for converting to jpeg. A custom conversion endpoint that did all of that in a single step would be cool. but it's a "must-have" Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We’ve been using Convert Api for several years, always works without downtime.

We find the demo page very useful as it lets us test the api, get the necessary code to implement the integration, and debug conflictive files or make a single conversion.

Customer support did not respond to multiple reach-outs between May 27 and June 11, and they now appear to have stopped replying to me completely.

The only issue we had with their service was that the fonts embedded in our PDFs were not being used in the converted Powerpoint. I was told that normally you have to pay 300 EUR a month (a much higher plan than we otherwise need) to upload fonts, but that in my case they would add our two fonts on their "next system update" This was on May 27th. I continued to follow-up for the next two weeks asking for updates and got no responses. Finally on June 11, I was just told it would be installed on their "next system update" but that they couldn't give me any ETA. I pressed them on this because we are a software company trying to launch a feature, and needed some idea of the time frame. And so far I've gotten zero responses back from their support team.

Now we are probably going to have to switch to a different service. I would have rather they just told me "no" originally, as we've now wasted time integrating with their service and will have to rip it out and start over. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use it in a Zapier complex automation loop to convert Google Docs and an invoice to PDF among other things.

Finding a solution that requires little to no setup, works time after time and is reasonably priced is pretty tough - and I should know, I tested more than 5 solutions before finding ConvertAPI.

The only area of improvement that I could even nitpick around and this is being overly critical is the fact that conversion times vary somewhat at times and it would be easier to predict budget if they were truly the same each time for the same types and sized documents.
