We used to struggle with audits every month for HIPAA; it was a chore to maintain our documentation in a format that was easy to access and utilize.

Compliance Manager and our HIPAA vendor make staying up to date on our HIPAA compliance easy and painless.

HIPAA compliance can be a chore to manage. However, I don't personally hold that against Compliance Manager; ultimately, it is best for our patients.

It can be difficult to onboard new employees and manually walk them through using the software. A video training module on HIPAA practices and the software itself would be ideal.

We're required to maintain HIPAA compliance because of our work in healthcare.

Compliance manager helps us ensure we're staying compliant in all aspects of our business without the hassle of managing documentation in two or three different systems. Having a centralized hub is incredibly beneficial and convenient.

Some of the upsides to using Compliance Manager are:

- Scaleability, new employees can easily be brought into the compliance management team quickly

- Ease of use, the software is very easy to pickup and use

Some of the disadvantages include of Compliance Manager include:

- Poor interface for mobile access

- No IOS or Android App

- Little to no Apple Support

- Occasionally has an issue where an uploaded document will need to be re-uploaded after initially showing as completed

We have ongoing compliance requirements that must be fulfilled due to our HIPAA obligations in the health services industry.

Compliance manager gives us a reasonably complete solution that allows us to monitor and maintain that compliance on an ongoing basis.

With Compliance Manager in our toolbox, we're able to master our HIPAA compliance without the previous headaches brought on by manually documenting our practices.

Nothing comes to mind as far as dislikes. The website works for us with few instances of downtime. It is easy to navigate and use and the sections are straightforward and easy to follow.

Having somewhere to collaborate virtually regarding compliance tasks. Before Using the software, we were in a frustrating situation where administering our compliance was forced onto a small group of individuals that knew exactly where everything was. With Compliance manager, we're able to bring new employees up to speed quickly and have a much better grasp on maintaining our HIPAA compliance.

The website is incredibly fast. We can quickly pull up information when needed and add documentation when new gaps are discovered with ease. There's virtually no downtime, which gives us peace of mind about being able to provide proof of our compliance status anywhere, anytime.

There's very little negative that I have to say about the software.

I don't have experience with alternatives, so Compliance Manager is really my only data point, but it does what it is intended to do efficiently.

Because of NIST regulations, we must maintain a portfolio of documentation outlining our virtual and physical security controls. Compliance Manager gives us an all-in-one location to aggregate that documentation and provides us with valuable scan information to avoid potential threats that could leave us in a place of non-compliance.

The interface is not overly complicated, and the Compliance Manager's limited options make learning and navigating the website very intuitive.

I can't think of anything specific that I don't like about the software.

It would be nice to be able to customize the interface with different colors, but that is more of a wish than a need.

We are required to maintain on-going compliance for DoD work.

Compliance manager gives us a toolbox to compile documentation and aggregate our network information in an easy-to-navigate manner, making understanding our compliance risks much more manageable.

We're able to integrate our on-prem environment fairly easily. It automatically pulls in user accounts. It allows us to notate their access levels and security controls directly in the software. Couple that with the fact that we're also able to store all of our previously manually generated and archived documentation, and you have software perfect for our needs.

It would be better if someone of the visual elements were updated.

Some other products on the market have a much more polished look. However, it's not a deal breaker as the form is not over function in my opinion.

The software provides us with exactly what we need to manage our compliance. As the name states, it is an all-in-one solution where we can control, continually improve and provide proof of our submissions for NIST and CMMC.

Before partnering with our compliance vendor and using compliance manager, we were stuck in the past documenting via paper, pen and storing in locked file cabinets.

Compliance manager removes the need for all of that extra paperwork. It gives us a combined, easy-to-navigate portal to access our necessary compliance documentation anywhere, anytime.

I can't think of anything I dislike. To be fair, I don't deal with more of the technical items for our compliance, so I'm unsure how those controls are managed. However, it is a lifesaver from the standpoint of a portal to upload our training documentation and internal policy notes.

It provides us with a comprehensive all-in-one location to store and manage all of our compliance documentation.

We can easily access what we need when we need it without having to worry about fumbling around through physical files.

The software simply does what it is billed as doing. It provides a clear-cut map to compliance through its simplistic layout.

The action items are easy to follow, and each section provides a comprehensive cloud-based location to input information to support each control.

There isn't really anything that comes to mind as far as dislikes.

I haven't used any other software, so I don't have an excellent alternative to compare it to.

For what we need, it fits the bill nicely.

We needed a solution that would provide us with a path forward for our compliance. Our compliance vendor used this software, so we decided to continue implementation via it when we upgraded from DFARS to CMMC.

The software is easy and straightforward to use. There's no guesswork involved when following Compliance Managers outlined steps to achieve compliance.

From the get go, you're presented with very clear and actionable steps to get you started toward achieving your desired level of compliance.

We require DoD compliance via NIST and CMMC, compliance manager was able to set us up for success by helping us to identify the gaps in our portfolio.

It would be nice to have a bit more direction for some of the control items. There can be some technical gaps if a member of our compliance team is more well-versed in the documentation side of compliance rather than the technical side.

We are required to meet and maintain a specific level of government compliance.

Compliance Manager has allowed us to achieve and exceed our own internal goals, as well as provide the necessary documentation for our clients.

The software does a great job of giving us a platform to store and manage our compliance documentation.

It has built-in tables for easily marking and updating access levels of employees, managing software inventory, providing anti-virus status and more. It also provides a concise and easy to follow outline of what controls are lacking in implementation.

I feel like the user interface could use some tweaking. We have several employees that have a difficult time navigating within the software. Some of the documentation portions of the site look a bit dated and could use a facelift.

We needed a tool that would allow us to quickly look at the gaps in our Security Compliance.

The nice thing about Compliance Manager is that while working through the new controls, it provided a place for us to store our older documentation for controls that were already satisfied without having to worry about maintaining them locally.
