Truely I am impressed by codeSignal Software. CodeSignal is a versatile platform that offers coding challenges and interview preparation, personalized learning, real-world projects, coding competitions, detailed feedback, and skill assessments for employers. It provides job matching, mobile accessibility, structured learning paths, and a supportive community. This comprehensive approach caters to users at all skill levels, making it a valuable resource for improving coding skills and preparing for technical interviews while also offering support for job seekers and a sense of community among learners. What do you dislike about CodeSignal?

As such there is no dislike about CodeSignal as far as my experience is concerned. But some users have found that the difficulty of the coding challenges can be inconsistent, with some challenges being overly complex, while others are too easy. I think this can be improved as CodeSignal has great talented software team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Helpful platform for interview preperation"
5/5
What do you like best about CodeSignal?

I try to log on every day, and use it pretty frequently to keep myself on track in terms of preparing for interviews. I think the test cases are better than they are on other platforms, to be honest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CodeSignal?

Sometimes the cooldown period between practicing certain interview questions can be lightly annoying, but there are so many other things to do on the platform that it is not an issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Pretty good but do not understand points taken off"
2/5
What do you like best about CodeSignal?

The exam and interface were easy to use and understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CodeSignal?

The biggest issue, I think, was the inability to understand your scoring. I felt my solution worked well, passed all the tests, and covered corner cases. My orginal score was cut in half once reviewed and I'm still unsure why. I checked stack overflow, leet code, and other sources for similar questions and have yet to find my solution not similar or more efficient than other highly rated solutions. This made the experience frustrating to say the least. I understand not being able to show questions and answers but the fact my solution's score was cut in half with no explanation as to why, I don't believe, is best practice. "CodeSignal: Fast custom tests, deep insights, AI summaries. Hire smarter."
4/5
What do you like best about CodeSignal?

CodeSignal shines with its pre-built question pool, letting you design custom assessments in a flash. The insightful results page then guides your next steps with detailed candidate data. Plus, the new AI summaries offer nuanced performance analyses, saving you time and effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CodeSignal?

While I appreciate the pre-set time options for custom tests, the ability to define specific durations would add another layer of customization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A great tool for interviewing candidates"
5/5
What do you like best about CodeSignal?

The replay feature for the interview, being able to look back at a specific timestamp and fork the state so that I can play around to see what could have been fixed. Or if they candidate goes onto attempt an extension and completely messes up their code, I can go back to when the main part of the question was working. The feedback section is great so that I can take notes while still watching the candidate code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CodeSignal?

When creating an interview, the popup with the link isn't clickable, I have to copy the link and then paste it in a new window Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great, in-depth report and assessment"
5/5
What do you like best about CodeSignal?

I liked how it provided me with a complete report of how I score in each of the categories and even the time spent on each question. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CodeSignal?

The verification time was too long, I don't know if the screen recording is manually reviewed or not, if manually done then massive respect, else the time could be cut down a bit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The interactive IDE is the best part for me, the autocomplete, auto indentation and just the entire user experience is just out of this world Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CodeSignal?

When autocompleting templates, the autocomplete doesn't recommend variables as parametres. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
