"Best coding platform to learn, test and improve your development skills."
5/5
What do you like best about CodePen?

Codepen provides an interactive playground with support for most of the commonly-used languages. Not only is it pretty easy to use but also a very powerful tool for anyone from a beginner to a pro developer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CodePen?

If the code is quite heavy, the webpage becomes less responsive and laggy which is a problem faced by most of the playgrounds. Also, the window which shows the output is pretty small and its a bit of hassle to change its dimensions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A perfect on the go tool for frontend web development"
4.5/5
What do you like best about CodePen?

CodePen provides a very simple and easy-to-use interface for frontend web developers to test their code on the go and preview how their web app looks like.

All the three files(HTML, JS & CSS) provided along side eachother makes the user free from the hassle of switching between files.

Along with the option to share your Pen on reknowned platforms like GitHub, they also have a very vast & supportive community of their own where you can share your work & also like, review and even collaborate on pen shared by other users of the community. When I was in my learning phase of Web development, CodePen has helped me a lot! Watching tutorials is of no use if you don't get your hands dirty & try out the things, you've learned, on your own. CodePen is just the right platform to help you implement your skills & get real experience! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CodePen?

I don't particularly hate anything about CodePen but if there was support for some backend as well, it would have been great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great online editor for Web development"
4/5
What do you like best about CodePen?

Codepen helps in practicing web development without even using the local space. Apart from that Codepen is faster than other online editors. We can even compete with friends and the community on Codepen challenges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CodePen?

There are many benefits of using Codepen, but there is also a problem. In Codepen till now we can not make multipage website. It is entirely for practicing, not for doing projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

CodePen is an fantastic tooling to create and share front end code to others. The tooling comes with inbuilt css, js, html and a rendering pane where you can see the output of your then and there. The tooling also highlights compiling and parsing errors. Great tooling used by our front end development team Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

CodePen is an easy-to-use code editor on the web. It can be very handy for running quick and simple code. As someone who teaches coding, I recommend using CodePen for beginners, since you don't have to deal with localhost or anything like that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CodePen?

CodePen can be very slow and buggy when running programs written in languages like React. I have personally experienced a very slow response time when running codes like that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
