"Great app for classroom teachers"
4/5
What do you like best about ClassDojo?

The great thing about this particular app was the ability to connect with/message the parents quickly through text in the app! Also, parents were able to view when their student was rewarded or reprimanded for their behavior using a point system within the app. When students did well in class, the teacher could choose what they were being rewarded for and when students needed redirection, the reason was indicated and points were taken accordingly. In addition, you could display student points on the projector so the students could see and even hear when they received points or heard of points being taken away. It made rewarding and giving consequences very interactive! I genuinely believe that this app helped my students perform better in class! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClassDojo?

The only issue that I had with using Class Dojo was that the school district eventually told staff that we could no longer use it since it was not district-approved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ClassDojo with my students"
3.5/5
What do you like best about ClassDojo?

ClassDojo was a great way for teachers to monitor behavior and for students to track their behavior over the course of the day. It also allowed parents to see how their children were doing and to connect with teachers if they had questions. It also had other tools like a randomizer and group maker that I used for lessons. What do you dislike about ClassDojo?

I don't remember many downsides, to be honest. I *think* it had a message translator, but I don't remember. (We last used ClassDojo three years ago, and we've had some things happen since then) ;) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Finally a solid line of communication home!"
5/5
What do you like best about ClassDojo?

Classdojo makes it easy to provide access to parents and students to your classroom. Reaching out to them is easy as all messages go to their phones and it also allows parents to see how their children are doing behaviorally and academically. That accountability piece is important in making sure students stay engaged. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClassDojo?

I wish there were a way to link Classdojo to my grading tool. This way, parents can be updated on how their children are doing.

Also, I wish there was a feature that allowed us to video conference through Classdojo. This would be great for parent/teacher nights, and Zoom isn't always reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClassDojo?

I live that I can see how my child is sing during the day as well as communicate with teachers. It allows multiple family members to be added to view and stay up to date Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClassDojo?

Only negitive I have is that teachers don't utilize it as effectively as they could. I also don't like that you have to get a paid version to do points at home. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Share the Love!"
5/5
What do you like best about ClassDojo?

My favorite thing is the simplicity of sharing weekly newsletters and photos of my class. I basically use it as a bragging board and give my top winners small rewards every Monday. I see them striving for the joyous sounds, and they try to let me catch them doing something exceptionally kind to others. I also have the negatives available when needed, and my experience with 4th graders, it still works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClassDojo?

Gosh, this is a tricky question. I would have to say that I have several parents who feel uncertain if it is just a convo between them and myself, or if everyone can see it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ClassDojo, A Multi-faceted Tool for All Levels of Teaching"
5/5
What do you like best about ClassDojo?

ClassDojo is a multi-faceted edtech tool that is a behavior management and recording tool, a parent messenger system, and a classroom flattener/Instagram all rolled into one. It has so many essential features for teaching it may as well be called the Swiss Army Knife of the teacher tech toolbox.

What I love most is that it is FREE!!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClassDojo?

The only thing I dislike is that people have a problem with this company, it is truly a gift to teaching, and my students and I could not live without it. There is nothing I can complain about when it comes to ClassDojo. This company has been responsive to all of my needs as a teacher, and if I ever find something I want with ClassDojo, I email them, and they do it for me, no questions asked.
