"Good Open Source with Latest Technologies"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Broadleaf Commerce?

It's designed by spring which allows easy and greater customization and integration.

It uses Thymeleaf engine to change the web pages presentation which is very easy process.

Latest spring comes by default with Thymeleaf so you can be sure about future enhancements.

It's demo setup is very easy. Also Administration, promo code and discount modules are very robust.

What do you dislike about Broadleaf Commerce?

I don't like documentation as well as community is small.

So I love to see improvements in these areas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A good open source e-commerce product with excellent architecture and latest technological stack"
5/5
What do you like best about Broadleaf Commerce?

The ability to implement required features and still being able to upgrade to latest version with ease.

The ability to use Spring framework and other open source frameworks which have a huge community support.

The extensive use of all the best open source frameworks available is just awesome.

Since it is open source, there would be less license charge(there are many paid extensions available on top of open source functionality.) and more investment can be made on user experience and other factors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Broadleaf Commerce?

The Documents related to Broadleaf seems to be old. They'll have to update their documents to the latest.

The Broadleaf community is not big and you'll have to expect delay in forum post. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Broadleaf Commerce?

Setting up development environment was easy.Liked the quality of code for products core components. The methodology used for extending entities and services is very clever.Liked the tools used to develop the product. Spring, Hibernate, Tymeleaf etc. Admin UI is very user friendly. Adding Crud screens to Admin was easy and intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Broadleaf Commerce?

The documentation was very weak in 2013. You have to be very experienced jpa ( I think it was hibernate or spring data) programmer to solve problems you face while changing services. I tried to implement a multi tenant e commerce platform, I found it very difficult as I did not have much time to spend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
