"Effective security solution for everyday use"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?

I like that Bitdefender GravityZone provides strong protection without noticeably slowing down the system The centralised dashboard makes it easy to manage multiple devices, and the real-time threat detection works reliably in the background Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?

Occasionally, the updates require a system restart, which can be inconvenient during working hours The initial setup process also feels a bit complex for non-technical users The firewall module in Windows relies on the built-in Windows Firewall, which limits advanced control Additionally, the update process sometimes fails or requires multiple attempts, and occasional restarts can be disruptive during work. "Confusing Product Mix with Little Support"
1/5
What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?

I love the integration and the dashboard for management. Menus are confusing though, and you're hit with ads for other products instead of information when you first enter Gravity Zone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?

It's a very confusing product mix. We moved to GravityZone for small-business, thinking it would do more for us. Turns out the less expensive, dedicated Small Business portal is actually better, and includes VPN and mobile device management. VPN is not even available with Gravity Zone, and adding mobile devices is expensive.

Impossible to get a sales person though, as they priritize home users (which get both phone and chat support) over their business users. Business customers need to send in an email and wait up to 48 hours for a reply. Seems odd to me that they provide more support for individual users than their higher paying business customers, but what do I know?

The product is easy to install, but challenging to manage. I had to uninstall it just to print from my local printer. Finally figured out how to configure their firewall for printing, but have not yet figured out how to tell the system I am on a protected network, not a public one. Nothing, so far, seems to be able to address that and support, as mentioned, is minimal at best.

Also, the cost to add mobile devices on Gravity Zone is expensive, so we have had to keep Norton on those. Strangely, their dedicated Small Business portal pricing includes them.

Have used the product frequently since installing and it is very powerful, but we may end up switching after the dissapointing lack of product support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Bitdefender GravityZone is amazing for small security teams"
5/5
What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?

Bitdefender GravityZone is the perfect solution for small teams like us. The maintenance is low as the platform is running on managed cloud-based infrastructure. The level of integration and automation, in the scope of a XDR, is great. With all information, including EntraID and other sources, pulled into one incident report it makes it straight forward to work on alerts. Last but not least we cover all layers of endpoint security in one product, which again makes it easy to manage features and configuration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?

It took us a noteworthy amount of time to find the perfect confiuguration for endpoints of developers, as they handle large mounts of small files daily in their build-routines and repositories. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Manage cyber threats - Prevention and detection"
4/5
What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?

- I've used Bitdefender when deploying cybersecurity tools for an MSP client of mine.

- It's a global sensor network compared to other threat detection networks which are generally more focused on malware detection rather than large-scale.

- Love their threat reports and insights on persistent threats that can be created as tickets in integrated tools.

-These reports are not just raw data, but analysis on how the threats operate and quick auto-remediation or fixes for the same.

- The tool also provides insights on newly discovered software vulnerabilities. It came in very handy when I had to setup alerts based on event logs for such software applications.

- The scan and detect in integrations is very handy and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?

- Great for MM or enterprise clients and not for a SMB. Most of the RMM tool's client base happens to be SMB or MM.

- For organizations without a dedicated SOC, the platform''s capabilities and data output may be overwhelming.

- For autoremediation, we had to integrate our client's threat detection policies with our RMM. (such as rolling back malware changes or isolating endpoints). - Sentilel1 offers this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
