The best part of these banners is that you don't have to be a coding wizard to create HTML5 banners. You just need to be creative and do a little bit of work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is nothing that I dislike about BannerBoo at this point. However, I would like to see more templates added to their library in the near future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

BannerBoo made creating ads easy, But not just that, it has upgraded our entire ad creation and ad launching experience. We were able to plan, design and iterate our ad creatives quickly and publish them. The creation process was painless because they have got a library of professionally created templates that we can use. Adding animations were merely just a matter of clicking a few buttons. SVGs are not supported yet. SVGs are great formats for most general web usage and they work well across a wide range of browsers and devices. The team shared they have got SVG/SVG animation exports on their roadmap so I'm quite relieved and will wait for the best features to come. They have also got lottie support in the future, I hope they'll release it soon as these are essential features for a product that focuses on animation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

That I get a professional looking banners very easily, despite not being a graphic designer, nor a html5-expert. Quick response from support. Very easy to edit and update the finished banners. I also like that I can host the banners on bannerboo's server. This makes it easy to publish the banners without an ad network, which is the case with the site I am running. I can easily incorporate video in the banners I create. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nothing much. There are some minor bugs that needs to be taken care of. Some features are missing (like gradient fills), but are upcoming according to the developer. The background removal tools is neat and works mostly well, but the result is not optimal with photos of people with curly hair. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to make animated HTML banners (of course!). I wouldn't have the patience to learn to do this with code so it's a fantastic way for non-coders to get great results without having to learn HTML and CSS. It has lots of great templates to start from, and a clean, simple UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Not being able to reduce the height of the animation bars so I can see more of them on screen without shrinking the actual banner too much. Not having an alignment guide or button to align selected elements. I'm still learning the program though, so maybe I just haven't found these options yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think the best features would be

- Love how easy it is to create banners from pre-made templates

- Super smooth animation!

- HTML 5 embeds, with banner link

- Branded previews (just use Cloudflare for SSL) on custom domain

- Multiple workspaces (and folders) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Comparing this to Canva, I'd say there is still a massive gap in what I can design using Canva versus Bannerboo, but in terms of a dedicated tool for creating Banners that get attention, BannerBoo still tops the competition! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

First of all, I could see right off how this would simplify the creation of short snappy banner ads and social media posts. No more fiddling around in Adobe After Effects to get an eye catching animated short!

I haven’t even delved into the library of photos, shapes, or buttons. One thing I am interested in trying out is the remove background. I use Remove.bg right now, so 150 background removals are very generous. For a simple banner or FB ad, I don’t need a high-res file, so I am sure it is adequate. There are no down-sides that I have seen so far! I would like to see some form of organization to the uploads area – I can see that getting hard to find something later on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Flexibility and ease of use. Design is something I have infrequently dabbled with in the past, and it is definitely not my strong suit. However, BannerBoo changed that with how easy designing became. There are just so many different templates in multiple sizes that you can easily switch between. They give you a great base to start your design, and even the templates that you don’t choose can serve as an inspiration for improvements to the one that you did choose.

Besides the many templates, the tools and the user interface were very intuitive as well, and never once did I feel lost navigating through them. Additionally, the integrated search function made it easy to look for assets from other sources.

With this tool, creating an attractive animated banner became as easy as ABC. I no longer have to hire a designer which is not only costly financially, but also in terms of time spent bouncing ideas off each other. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The auto-resizing feature is a bit clunky and I often had to manually rework some of the assets once I resized my templates. I definitely think that this should be an area of improvement for future updates to really boost user productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

BannerBoo is great because it allows you to create professional banners in a variety of sizes and formats (HTML5, GIF, MP4). You can also embed your ads into web pages without having to deal with downloading and uploading zip files. You won’t have trouble getting started as there are plenty of unique and eye-catching template sets to get you going. The interface is great and creating banners is fast. Ad creators and agencies should have this in their arsenal for sure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes when you change banner sizes, there is a good amount of work needed to get it looking good as the original. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have not noticed anything in particular that needs changing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With just a few clicks, you can create quite nice animated banners for your ads and social feeds. It really only takes a few minutes and you're done. Briefly:

The template library is large and diverse.

Smart animation feature.

Embedding option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For me, the interface had a learning cycle. On first use, I found it difficult to find even the simplest features, but once everything fell into place, it was really quick and enjoyable to create banners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
